Anima – February Adoption (C1104-Kasin)!

C1104-Kasin was rescued with C1103-Karin, C1105-Karsen, C1106-Kapuni and the mother, C1102-Kanta by Anima on 17th January 2016 after a call from Mrs. Yao reporting that Kanta and her kittens lived in a warehouse on Rua Cinco de Outubro. Today, Kasin was adopted by Mr. Cheong. Thanks Mr. Cheong! Never Abandon your pets! Anima – January Adoption Day!

Beginning in February 2016, Anima will be holding two adoption days outside of Anima on the second and last Sunday of every month. Around 220 people have visited us in Lok Yeong Fa Yuen in Fai Chi Kei today! This time we have a strong support from Exmoo News! We were also supported by 16 volunteers, Katherine, Constance, Cman, Justino, Nic Lao, Cherry Loi, Cathy, Vivian, Rainne, Wing, Oscar, Kason, Ceci, Teresa, Kayo and Kris, and we took nine of our dogs. Today in the adoption day we received four applications for volunteer, eight applications for godparent, three member applications and 12 adoption applications! We collected from out two donation boxes taken to the event  MOP 9,083.00! Please do not buy, Adopt! Anima – January Adoption (R023 to R025)!

R023-Grabby was found in a cage abandoned outside Anima on 26th January 2015 with one bag of rabbit food near the cage. R024-Rayna was rescued by Anima on 16th March 2015 after a call from Dr. Francisco reporting that Rayna was found abandoned in Avenida Sidonio Pais in front of Green Cross Macau. R025-Coffee was rescued by Anima on 12th July 2015 after a call from a community member informing that he could not take care of his son’s rabbit anymore as he had allergy. His son bought the rabbit from a pet shop few years ago and he had immigrated to the United States. Today, Grabby, Rayna and Coffee were all adopted by Ms. Shen. Anima – January Rescue (C1113 to C1116)!

C1113-Byron (M), C1114- Shelley (F), C1115-Keats (M) and C1116-Eyre (F) were rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Lau reporting that four kittens were found in a plastic bag in a building at Rua da Alegria. Mr. Lau put them in a carton box temporarily as our rescue team went to Red Market to rescue them immediately. They are around two weeks old, now staying with us. Our Supervisor Ms. Zoe will foster them as they need milk every 3 hours day and night ! Thanks Mr. Lau! Thanks Ms. Zoe! Never Abandon your pets! Anima – January Adoption (1627-Wardell)!

1627-Wardell, along with 1625-Wallace and 1626-Walmond, were rescued by Anima on 6th January 2016 after a call from Billy, our vice-president, reporting that Ms. Ian referred to him that they were alone as several mothers in a construction site were caught by IACM. Those puppies had to go to Anima as the Pet Shop contacted by Ms. Ian could not feed them night time! Now 1627-Wardell was adopted by Ms. U. Thanks. Ms. U! Please Adopt and Never buy! Anima – January Adoption (1641 and 1642)!

1641-Sun and 1642-Kamsoon was rescued by Anima on 27th January 2016 after a call from Mr. Lee reporting that both dogs were bought by his friend in Macau and his friend left Macau without taking the dogs. He could not keep them anymore as he was going back to his country soon. We considered this as an abandonment but we wanted the best for the dogs. Now Sun and Kamsoon were adopted by Mr. Cheung. Anima – January Return to Family (1602-Ah Duo)!

1602-Ah Duo was accommodated in Anima since 11th December 2015 for 58 days, as an emergency by our member Ms. Leong. This is only accepted in extreme emergency situations as the maximum time allowed is 15 days! Today Ah Duo was returned to his family. This program is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates. For dogs, 50 patacas per day and for cats 30 patacas per day. In case of members, the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 360). Non members or non adopters may exceptionally apply for this facility paying double, if we have space. Priority is always given to members and adopters! Who has adopted one animal from Anima do not pay any accommodation fee in the first year of adoption provided the period of accommodation does not exceed 15 days! Anima – 178-Zé Zé living very happy in Portugal!

178- Zé Zé (former Sebu) was adopted by Marina, our former Supervisor,  and flight on 8th December 2015 to Portugal to join her. Now see good pictures of Zé Zé, very happy, with the family and learning how to live with cats, a training not very easy for Marina. She is doing a nice job being patient enough to control this very difficult situation! Thanks Marina and Fernando! We will we all miss you my friend! Please Adopt and never buy! Rescue and Information about SPP Dog (SPP819-Gorgor)!

SPP819-Gorgor was rescued by Anima after a call from our volunteer responsible in the area reporting that Gorgor was bitten by other dogs somewhere in Coloane. Wounds in the size of a 10 cent coin was found above the left eye lid on his forehead, with other minor wounds. Our rescue team rescued him to Anima and our vet ran a surgery to stitch the wound. Gorgor was returned to the former place after the surgery with good condition. Gorgor became our SPP dog since 17th April 2012. We need more SPP volunteers! Never Abandon your pets!
