Anima – Return to Family (C691-Onion)!

C691-Onion has been fostered by Mr. Ian since 27th October 2015. Onion was accommodated in Anima on 19th December for 35 days as the foster family went on a vacation. C691-Onion was returned to the foster family today. Thanks Ian! Please help us to help them! If you are not able to adopt our animals, if you have a window of opportunity to take one of them temporarily to your home, please do it! Anima – 2015 Accounts!

In 2015 Anima has spent MOP 7,370,807.23 not including investment (mainly in our clinic)! The investment done last year was MOP 310,031.05! Anima was capable to generate by itself and through donations from individuals MOP 1,842,495.36! Corporations and institutional donations were MOP 4,000,000.00, of which MOP 3,500,000.00 from Macau Foundation and MOP 500,000.00 from Rational Live Events Macau Ltd! At the end of the year, Anima was looking for MOP 1,434,503.20 patacas for paying our remaining  bills in arrears as our deficit was almost similar, which was already guaranteed to be paid in the beginning of 2016, by Wynn Resorts & Steve Wynn (MOP 1,250,000.00), Sands China (MOP 300,000.00) and Galaxy Entertainment Group (MOP 100,000.00), the last one already paid this January! Anima – January SPP Return to Site (SPPC1075-Quint)!

1075-Quint was rescued on 19th November 2015 after a call from Michele reporting that Quint was sick. Quint had high fever. Quint was recovered and returned to its former place today. Anima – January SPP Return to Site (SPPC1079-Patton)!

SPPC1079-Patton was rescued on 27th November 2015 after a call from Michele reporting that SPP1079-Patton was sick. Michele, our volunteer of Anima and responsible for the SPP of cats, brought him to Anima. He had fever and both eyes were inflamed. SPP1079-Patton was recovered and neutered. Today, Patton was returned to the site and Michele is responsible for him. Thanks Michele! Anima – January Rescue and New SPP (SPPC1109-Phedra)!

SPPC1109-Phedra was rescued by Anima after a call from Michele reporting that a female cat, around seven years old was found with a nose injury somewhere in Taipa. SPPC1109-Phedra, now under our Special Protection Program, was brought to Anima by Michele. Phedra’s nostril got crusted and the tongue was injured. Auscultation indicated heart problem (arrhythmias). Some teeth was missing and most of them were worn. We are keeping an eye on her! Thanks Michele! Never Abandon your pets! Anima – January Rescue (1637 to 1639)!

1637-Addy, 1638-Adria and 1639-Aditi were rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Wong reporting that he found three female puppies around 2.5 months old in a box in a construction site near Fai Chi Kei this morning. He did not know if someone abandoned the puppies in the box. Our rescue team arrived the site and collected them. Thanks Mr. Wong! Please be responsible! De-sex your pets! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – January Abandonment in Anima (C431-Jogi)!

C431-Jogi, adopted in Anima on 11th February 2013, was accommodated in Anima since 27th November 2015, as the adopter left Macau recently to study. The owner was supposed to get Jogi back in December. Now the family doesn’t want her back and abandon her in Anima. We should like to disclose the name of the adopter but our policy does not allow us to do it. We are trying to understand what happen, but we are not happy! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – January Sad News (C1108-Wafery)!

C1108-Wafery was rescued on 18th January by Anima after a call from Mrs. Miu reporting that a cat was found dying in Patio da Palha. Wafery was sent to a clinic immediately by Anima. The blood test result showed that he had pancreas failure with anemia. He was very weak with low temperature. Wafery passed away this morning. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets!
