Anima – December Sad News (C652-Baldur)!

C652-Baldur died today! Please see a good picture of him before getting sick! Baldur was one of the five babies of SPPC638-Big Eye (C649 to C653) rescued from a site near a restaurant in February 2014. They were born on 24 February 2014. C652-Baldur was FECV positive, but we decided that he should live as much as possible unless enters in suffer. He was in our B14 area, an area closed to public, for animals severely sick! As we suspected  that he began to enter in suffer he was sent to a clinic, dying there of a lot complications including renal failure! C652-Baldur died today! R.I.P. my friend! Anima – December Rescue (C1081-Chibi)!

C1081-Chibi was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Patrícia reporting that C1081-Chibi, a two months old kitten, was found in Estrada do Repouso last night. Her both eyes were inflamed, especially the left one, he had upper respiratory problems, nasal discharge, apathy, fever, was skinny, dehydrated and very dirty with a lot of fleas. Anima – December Sad News (1583-Harman)!

1583-Harman died today! He was the son of Rada. SPP1577-Rada was under our Special Protection Program (SPP) from 13th November. She was found by our rescue team during the daily feeding somewhere in Macau. She is the mother of five puppies, under our protection from 19th November 2015: SPP1579-Hedda, SPP1580-Hedy, SPP1581-Hanson, SPP1582-Hennie and SPP1583-Harman. All were sick with parvovirus and tick fever. 1583-Harman died today. It is very sad looking to those faces! Why people are so cruel? Anima – December Rescue (C1080-Drake)!

C1080-Drake was taken to Anima after a call from Ms. Leah reporting that C1080-Drake, a male, was rescued by her two years ago and was with her up to now. According to her the cat became more aggressive recently and began to bully another cat. She asked if we can keep him. We decided to help Drake even disagreeing with the owner. He will loose his family and his house environment! He is now in our quarantine area B13 for 10 days, and later will be released in our cat main area where we have almost one hundred animals. B020-Garrie was rescued by Anima near our shelter. He could not fly. He was sent to a clinic for consultation and blood test. The  result indicated anemia. Anima – November Adoption Day!

Anima has an adoption day outside Anima on the last Sunday of every month. Around 50 people have visited! Anima was supported in this event by nine volunteers, Patrick (Exmoo News),Yvonne (Exmoo News), Jay (Exmoo News), Terence (Exmoo News), Kam Chai (Exmoo News), Vailent, Dannie, Kay and Mariana and took seven of our dogs. Today in the adoption day we received two applications for godparents and one application for volunteers. Please do not buy, Adopt! Sheng Kung Hui Pui To Middle School has visited us!

Today 61 people has visited us, 29 from Sheng Kung Hui Pui To Middle School! More and more visitors come to Anima! Last year we have 5,511 visitors as compared with 5,032 visitors in 2013, an increase of around 9.5%! In 2015, up to the end of October, we had 4,761 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 4,549 in the same period of 2014! 47 groups of schools, associations and companies have visited us! Anima – November Adoption (1562-Larrie and 1563-Lora)!

1562-Larrie, 1563-Lora, 1564-Laurel and 1565-Losa, were rescued by Anima on 21st October 2015, after a call from Ms. Chong referring that a puppy (1562- Larry) was stuck under the floor board near Ka-Ho barbeque site and asked if we could help. The fire department and the police were called also and as they could not reach IACM (it was a public holiday) they asked us to save the puppies. Now Larrie and Lora were adopted by Mr. Chan! C1074-Petri was rescued by Anima on 17th November 2015, after a call from Ms. Mok reporting that a kitten, around four months old, was found in Porto Exterior (external maritime terminal) the night before and had diarrhea.
