Anima–October Rescue (C2644, C2645, C2646, C2647)!

<17-10-2021> Four more newborn kittens were rescued by Anima! C2644-Kimiko, C2645-Yamy, C2646-Yanny and C2647-Nikky, all females, were rescued by Anima on 17th October, 2021. We received a call from Mr. Choi, reporting that four kittens were found in the bushes of Dr. Sun Yat Sen Municipal Garden in the morning. No mommy cat was found around and they seemed to be only one day old, as their umbilical cord was still attached. They were rescued and will be temporarily fostered by our staff for milk feeding and special care. Please help us to help them! If you want us to help them, you must help us adopting or fostering! Anima-October Rescue (SPP2405-A-Mui)!

<09-10-2021> SPP2405-A-Mui (F), a dog around seven years old, is registered in our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 18th September, 2021. She’s living under Mrs. So’s responsibility in a site at Hac-Sa, Coloane. This morning, we were informed by Ms. So that A-Mui has a puncture infected wound near her left ear, possibly due to a dog bite. A-Mui was immediately rescued by our team and sent to a clinic. She will stay hospitalized for a few days and will be safely returned to the original site after being discharged. Through our SPP Program, we have been extending our support to a broad number of animals living out of our shelters, under the responsibility of volunteers. Anima-October Adoption (C2389-Jam)!

<02-10-2021> Jam was adopted by Mr. Poon! C2389-Jam (F) was rescued by Anima on 11th September 2020, when she was around three months old. We received a call from a local vet reporting that a family had rescued a female cat and brought her to a clinic, in order to check her condition. She tested positive for FeLV and the family couldn’t keep her, as they already had other cats at home. Jam was then welcomed into our Cats’ Paradise. Today, Jam found the love of a family! Anima-A kind donation from Galaxy Entertainment Group!

<21-09-2021> Galaxy Entertainment Group donated MOP80,000 to Anima today! Throughout the years, Galaxy has remained a huge supporter of our cause and their assistance has made all the difference. To celebrate, 21 GEG Volunteers visited our shelters on September 10th, for a formal cheque presentation. Anima-September New SPP Dog (SPP2405-A-Mui)!

<18-09-2021> SPP2405-A-Mui (F), a dog around seven years old, was registered in our Special Protection Program (SPP) on 18th September, 2021. She’s living under Mrs. So’s responsibility in Hac-Sa, Coloane. Today, A-Mui was rescued by Anima for a medical check-up in a clinic, as some wounds were found on her neck. She was safely returned to her original site after treatment. Through our SPP Program, we have been extending our support to a broad number of animals living out of our shelters, under the responsibility of volunteers. Anima-September Rescue (C2624-C2634)!

<11-09-2021> C2624-Alicia (F), C2625-Vargas (F), C2626-Mariko (F), C2627-Morass (F), C2628-Diablo (M), C2629-Flying Tiger (M), C2630-Falcon (M), C2631-Largo (M), C2632-Zola (M), C2633-Beetle (M) and C2634-Tyrant (M), all kittens around six weeks old, were rescued by Anima on 11th September, 2021. The rescue happened after a call from Ms. Chan, who reported to have found the kittens abandoned in a cardboard box at Fortaleza do Monte. They were firstly sent by our team to a clinic for a check-up, as some of them seemed to be struggling to breath. After consultation, all were welcomed into Cats’ Paradise. <11-09-2021> C1201-Greer (M), a cat around five years old, was returned to our shelter today by the adopter. Greer was adopted from Anima back in 2016. His family, however, claimed now that he’s not adapting well to a new environment with children and is uncertain about the future. Given the lack of options, Greer was welcomed back to our shelter. Anima–September Sad News (1063-Mui Mui)!

<05-09-2021> Sadly, our dog 1063-Mui-Mui has passed away today. Mui Mui was 12 years old and was in our shelter since 2013. Yesterday, she was found lethargic and with a high temperature. She was immediately sent to a clinic, where she remained hospitalized. During the night time, however, we were informed by the clinic that Mui Mui didn’t survive. R.I.P. our friend!
