Anima–August Rescue (C2601, C2602)!

<08-08-2021> C2601-Alyssa (F) and C2602-Kristoff (M), both around one month old, were rescued by Anima on 8th August 2021, after a call from Mrs. Chiu reporting that some kittens were wandering in Ilha Verde. We were also informed that one of them, a sibling of Alyssa and Kristoff, has sadly been killed by dogs in the area recently. The mother of the cats was never seen. Alyssa and Kristoff were rescued by Anima and welcomed into our Cats’ Paradise. Please help us to help them! You can help adopting or fostering! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–August Sad News (1965-Madonna)!

<08-08-2021> Sadly, our dog 1965-Madonna has passed away today. Madonna was suffering from a malignant tumor that has spread to several organs. Despite all medical care, the cancer was already in a final stage. Following veterinary medical advice and consent given by several Anima board members, Madonna was euthanized in a clinic in an effort to shorten her agony. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-August Adoption (CH006-Joltik)!

<07-08-2021> Joltik was adopted today by Ms. Pattarin! CH006-Joltik (M), a chinchilla, was rescued by Anima on 27th March, 2021 following a facebook message reporting that a chinchilla was found abandoned in a tiny cage near Taipa Nam San Building. Joltik was collected and welcomed into our Dogs’ Shelter. Today, Joltik found a forever family. Thank you for choosing to adopt, Ms. Pattarin! Please adopt and never buy! Anima–July Rescue (C2600-Ballon)!

<25-07-2021> C2600-Ballon (M), a cat around one and a half years old, was rescued by Anima on 25th July, 2021. Anima was contacted by CPSP at 4:18am reporting that a cat had fallen from a high-rise window into a balcony at ‘The Residencia Macau’. Ballon was rescued by our team in critical condition and immediately sent to a clinic. X-Ray results revealed internal bleeding and a spleen rupture. Sadly, he would pass away in the clinic at 10:05am. R.I.P.! The owner recognized the cat and confirmed he fell out from an open window in her house. The body of C2600-Ballon was collected by IAM for autopsy to determine the cause, mode and manner of death. The owner was punished by a fine in accordance with the Animal Protection Law of Macau. Anima–New SPP Dog (SPP2377-Kururu)!

<27-06-2021> SPP2377-Kururu (M), a dog around two years old, is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP). Kururu is living under Mr. Cheong’s responsibility in a Ka-Ho Workshop. He suffers from severe conjunctivitis and was rescued by our team today and sent to a clinic. Kururu received treatment and was safely returned to his original site after being discharged from clinic. Thank you for your cooperation, Mr. Cheong! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-June Return (SPP2374-Queen)!

<27-06-2021> SPP2374-Queen (F), a dog around three years old, is under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 18th June, 2021. She’s living in a Ka-Ho car shop under Mr. Ng’s responsibility. Queen is having some health issues and was rescued by our team and sent to a clinic on 19th june, 2021. She had severe anemia and a blood transfusion was needed. One of our dogs, 1607-Eerika, was brought to the clinic for blood donation. Queen also tested POSITIVE for Ehrlichia, Babesia Canis and Anaplasma. Today, Queen was discharged from clinic and safely returned to her usual site. Never Abandon your pets! Abandoning a pet should be a crime! Please help us to help them! Anima–June Rescue (C2591-Supreme)!

<26-06-2021> C2591-Supreme (M), a two-month-old kitten, was rescued by Anima on 24th June, 2021. Supreme was rescued following a call from Mrs. Lo reporting to have found the kitten in a cardboard box near Kun Iam Tong. The cat seemed to be walking abnormally and was sent to a clinic immediately. Happily, no fracture was detected, but he will remain hospitalized for close observation.
