Anima–November Return from Foster (C2172-Matteo)!

<29-11-2020> C2172-Matteo (M), aged one and a half years old by the time of the rescue, was collected by Anima on 29th July 2019 from Macau Kennel, after receiving a call from a veterinary doctor reporting that I.A.M. had no more space to keep him. Matteo was fostered by Mr. Xue on 11th July 2020. Today, he was returned to our shelter. Thank you for the provided foster care, Mr. Xue! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! <29-11-2020> Today, we were visited by 57 people, of which 13 were from the Lui Che Woo College of the University of Macau. The students gave us a useful hand volunteering at our Cats’ Paradise. <28-11-2020> Today, we were visited by 66 people, of which 25 were from the Fai Chi Kei Family and Community Integrated Service Center, on a visit to our Cats’ Paradise! Anima-November Adoption (T033, T034)!

<22-11-2020> Our turtles Prima and Primo were adopted by Mr. Mario! T033-Prima (F) and T034-Primo (M), two turtles of unknown age, were rescued by Anima in Rua da Penha, on 05/11/2020. One of our staff found them abandoned in two small containers at the entrance of a building. Today, Prima and Primo were adopted by Mr. Mario, also a member of our staff! Anima–November Rescue (C2429-Pauline)!

<22-11-2020> C2429-Pauline (F), a cat around four years old, was rescued by Anima today. On 16/11/2020, we received a call from Mr. Cao reporting to have found a very weak and skinny cat at Pátio da Eterna Felicidade. An owner of a shop nearby claimed to have been feeding the cat for a few months, but insisted that the cat is a stray and didn’t plan to take her to a clinic for consultation. With the help of two volunteers, we managed to rescue Pauline today. She was directly sent to a clinic, where she will stay hospitalized for the time being. Thank you for the warning call, Mr. Cao! Anima-November Adoption (C2392, C2394)!

<21-11-2020> Nayomi and Nelly were adopted today by Ms. Chio! C2391-Nilah (F), C2392-Nayomi (F), C2393-Nicolette (F) and C2394-Nelly (M), all around two weeks old by the time, were rescued by Anima on 14th September 2020, following a call from Ms. Carla reporting that a loud ‘meowing’ could be heard near Calçada da Igreja de São Lázaro in the early morning. Four kittens were found and rescued as no adult female cat was found nearby. C2394-Nelly seemed weaker and was sent to a clinic for consultation. He would later be discharged after being confirmed healthy and reunited with his siblings. All kittens were temporarily fostered by our staff members for special care and milk feeding. Anima–November Adoption (C2378-Kilian)!

<15-11-2020> Kilian was adopted by Ms. Sou, today! C2378-Kilian (M), around 10 weeks old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 23/08/2020 following a call from Ms. Mak reporting that a kitten had fallen into a patio inside Centro Católico da Igreja de São Francisco Xavier, in Mong Ha. Our rescue team was mobilized to help catching the kitten and he was then welcomed at our Cats’ Paradise. Today, Kilian was adopted by Ms. Sou! Thanks for adopting, Ms. Sou! Anima-November Sad News (C2421-Flynn)!

<14-11-2020> C2421-Flynn (M), rescued on 03/11/2020 when he was only two weeks old, was found dehydrated, malnourished and with a low temperature. We soon realized he was also experiencing diarrhea. Since that day, he had been hospitalized receiving treatment. He would be discharged from the clinic a couple days ago and was fostered by our staff in order to receive special care. Unfortunately, his condition didn’t improve and he passed away at night, despite all our efforts. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets!
