Anima–December Sad News (C1867-Hiran)!

<11-12-2021> Unfortunately, our cat C1867-Hiran has passed away today. Hiran had been suffering from a suspected liver tumor, which was already causing internal bleeding. Recently, he had been hospitalized in and out but, sadly, didn’t survive. R.I.P. our friend! Please help us to help them! Never abandon your pets! Abandoning a pet should be a crime! Anima–December Sad News (708-Mask)!

<11-12-2021> Sadly, our dog 708-Mask has passed away. Mask was almost 11 years and had been living in our shelters since 2011. He suddenly passed away overnight, having only yesterday shown signs of abnormality, when he refused to eat. He had an appointment in a clinic today. R.I.P. our friend! Please help us to help them! Anima–December Sad News (C2668-Spoon)!

<05-12-2021> Unfortunately, our kitten C2668-Spoon didn’t survive. Spoon was rescued by Anima on 28th November, with just three weeks old. On that day, we received a warning call informing that a kitten fell from a height in Rua da Horta e Sousa. Spoon was rescued and had to stay hospitalized in a clinic. Anima–2021 Fundraising for Homeless Animals!

<01-12-2021> Anima will hold a raffle ticket fundraising activity from now until February 28th, 2022. All proceeds will be directly donated to Anima. The amount will allow us to continue promoting animal protection and welfare for over 700 animals living in our shelters (such as purchasing food and veterinary expenses), as well as supporting about 350 animals registered under our Special Protection Program (SPP), so that Anima can continue providing food, veterinary care and neutering/spaying services for the animals living out of its shelters. Each raffle ticket costs MOP20 only. This fundraising activity will start on December 1st, 2021 and will end on February 28, 2022. After the fundraising activities, Anima will hold a lucky draw at Cats’ Paradise on March 1st, 2022. The winners list will be announced on Anima’s website and Facebook pages on March 3rd, 2022. Anima–November Rescue (C2665, C2666, C2667)!

<28-11-2021> A pregnant cat and several kittens were rescued by Anima on 28th November, 2021. A couple days ago, we were contacted by Ms. Bueno, a non-resident worker who reported to be in need of returning to her country of origin. Ms. Bueno claimed that she cannot afford the expenses of caring and neutering/spaying the cats. At the same time, she asked us to help a friend, who owned an adult pregnant cat. Attending to the lack of options, all cats were collected by Anima. The pregnant cat, C2665-Christy (F), around four years old, and the two kittens, C2666-Butterfly (F) and C2667-Bees (M), both around four months old, were welcomed into Cats’ Paradise. An Ultrasound Examination revealed that Christy is carrying around five kittens and the estimated due date is December, 4th. Please help us to help them!
