Anima-Volunteers helped us!

<18-11-2017> Today, 60 people visited us, six of them were individual volunteers that helped us at out Cats' Paradise to clean our warehouse. Thanks for your strong support! Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to October 2017, Anima received 7,650 visitors, an increase of 32.1% as compared with the same period of last year. 117 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 41%, and we have been in 29 events organized by friends or by us! Anima-Centro Comunitário Sun Tou Tong visited us!

Anima-November Sad News (H012-Poppy)!

<18-11-2017> H010-Flower, an hamster, H011-Violet, H012-Poppy, both Gerbils, were rescued by Anima on 21st July 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina referring that two students Diaby and Noson, from Escola Kao Yip, had rescued those animals as the school was moving to a new location and decided not to keep them anymore. They asked us for help. We collected them and they had been with us since that time. Unfortunately H012-Poppy was found passed away this morning. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! November New Born and Sad News (C1779 to C1782)!

<18-11-2017> The mother cat C1756-Fedora (F) was rescued by Anima on 10th November 2017, after a call from IACM reporting that they don't have enough space for the cats. C1756-Fedora had fever, nasal and ocular discharge problems at that time. Today our staff found four pre-mature kittens C1779-Ducati, C1780-Aprilia, C1781-Benelli and C1782-Garelli in her cage. However, Fedora did not look like pregnant when she entered our shelter. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima-November Sad News (C1352-Super)!

<18-11-2017> C1352-Super (M), was rescued by Anima on 11th December 2016 when he was around eight years old, after a call from Ms. Ng reporting that a friendly cat was abandoned in Barra. C1352-Super was sent to a clinic by Ms. Ng as he had gingivitis, stomatitis and dehydration. He was checked by our vet and dewormed. He had stayed in our Cats' Paradise until now. Yesterday, C1352-Super was found in hypothermia and was breathing hard. He had difficult to stand up and his belly was getting bigger. Unfortunately C1352-Super passed away this morning with FIP. November Rescue and Abandon (C1322, C1775-C1778)!

<17-11-2017> C1322-Rose (F), around one year old, C1775-Prince (M) and C1776-Princesa (F), both around five years old, C1777-Jo (M) and C1778-Jane (F), both around seven years old, were rescued by Anima on 17th November 2017, after a call of a lady informing us that she cannot keep all of her cats as her son has allergy. C1775-Prince and C1776-Princesa were adopted from Anima seven years ago. The other cats were also adopted from Anima by her friend. We collect them and keep them in our Cats' Paradise. Anima-Dog under SPP Returned (SPP1935-Keelan)!

<17-11-2017> SPP1935-Keelan (F) and SPP1936-Keanna (F), around eight months, under our Special Protection Program (SPP), were rescued on 14th October 2017 after a call from Ms. Peng. We supported Keelan with a desex surgery at a clinic yesterday. Today she could return to her place after the surgery. Ms. Peng is responsible for them in that area in Coloane. Anima-November Rescue (C1774-Goddess)!

<17-11-2017> C1774-Goddess (F), around seven months old, was rescued by Anima on 17th November 2017, after a call from Ms. Michele reporting that she found a cat on the street near Nam San. The cat was half covered in glue and needed medical support. She brought the cat C1774-Goddess to us. C1774-Goddess was checked by our vet and  the glue was removed from her  body.
