Anima-November Sad News (C1575-Wolf)!

 <02-11-2017> C1575-Wolf (F), around five years old at that time, was rescued by Anima on the 3rd June 2017, after a call from Ms. Sandy informing that she rescued her in Guia, where she used to feed cats, but the cats there were being poisoned. She asked us to help. C1575-Wolf was checked by our vet and de-wormed. On 22nd October 2017 he was sent to a clinic for consultation as she has fever, gingivitis, dehydration and upper respiratory infection. She was diagnosed FIV and was under dripping. Unfortunately she passed away this morning. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima-November Adoption (C1699-Butch)!

<02-11-2017> Butch was adopted by Ms. Cheng on 2nd November 2017! C1698-Becca (F), around one year old and C1699-Butch (M), around eight months old at that time, were rescued by Anima on 5th September 2017, after a call from our rescue team reporting that two injured cats were found during their daily feeding, in a site of Ka-Ho. Those two cats got injured during typhoon day. C1698-Becca has a long cut wound from the face to the upper chest. C1699-Butch's right hind leg was broken. They have recovered and stayed at the Cats' Paradise. Today C1699-Butch was adopted. Thanks Ms. Cheng! Please Adopt and never Buy! <01-11-2017> We hope to have your understanding on our situation! Dear Godparents, First of all we want to thank you for your kind support to our animals. The money you provide to a certain animal helps him/her a lot! When the animal is adopted or died, Anima should immediately call you or write to you to inform you about his/her situation. Unfortunately, from 2016 on, but especially in 2017, we were not capable to control those situations as we had not enough staff in shelters and in administration (we even have lost two of them) and our rescues and work increased a lot. Anima-November Sad News (128-BeBe)!

<01-11-2017> 128-BeBe (M), around three years old at that time, was rescued by Anima on 16th August 2008 and had stayed with us since that time. He had been taking medicine for long time due to his heart problem. Today 128-BeBe was found passed away this morning. His belly was bloated with air. He was one of our eldest friends! Anima-November Sad News (C926-Ladonna)!

<01-11-2017> C926-Ladonna (F), around two years old at that time, together with her five kittens were rescued by Anima on 24th April 2015 after a call from Michele reporting that a mother cat gave birth somewhere in Taipa.  All of them were collected and stayed with us from that time. On 25th October C926-Ladonna was sent to the clinic due to dehydration and mouth problem. She received medication but did not improve. She was jaundice and her kidney was found enlarged. Unfortunately, C926-Ladonna was found passed away this morning.  Her death could be renal failure and liver problem. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima-November Rescue (C1744-C1746)!

<01-11-2017> C1744-Dann (M) , C1745-Dancia (F) and C1746-Davis (M), all around four months old, were rescued by Anima on 1st November 2017, after a call from Mr. Ng saying that he used to feed a mother cat in the site of Toi Shan Market. The mother cat gave birth to seven kittens one month ago. He asked us for help. Our rescue team set up two traps there. Yesterday C1742-Daphne and C1743-Darold were caught. Today another three kittens C1744-Dann, C1745-Dancia and C1746-Davis were caught. They all were checked by our vet and dewormed. They are staying in our Cats' Paradise for quarantine. Anima-HK Apple Daily News visited us!

<31-10-2017> Today, 21 people visited us, three of them were from HK Apple Daily News that came to our Dog Shelter to do an interview regarding the adoption and rescue of Macau greyhounds! Our Anima President Mr. Albano and the greyhound lover and adopter of Garlix , Ms. Edith Lam, were in the interview! Thanks for your strong support! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to September 2017, Anima received 6,923 visitors, an increase of 31.8% as compared with the same period of last year. 108 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 40.3%, and we have been in 29 events organized by friends or by us! Anima-October Rescue and Sad News (B083-October)!

<31-10-2017> B083-October, was rescued by Anima on 31st October 2017, after a call from Ms. Lei reporting that there was a pigeon lying on the ground near the Wynn Macau Staff entrance. B083-October could not fly. She asked us for help. B083-October was sent to the clinic. Unfortunately it passed away during the examination at the clinic. R.I.P my friend! Anima-October Foster (C631-Jok Wan)!

<31-10-2017> Jok Wan was fostered by Ms. Felicia again on 31st October 2017! C631-Jok Wan (M), around one year old at that time, was rescued by Anima on 7th January 2014. He was temporarily fostered by Ms. Felicia on 17th September 2017. On 14th October he was returned to us due to the upper respiratory infection and sneezing. He stayed with us for treatment and now he has recovered. Today he can return to Ms. Felicia's home again. Thanks Ms. Felicia! Please be a foster and a Volunteer!
