Anima-October SPP Return (SPP1908-Pig Pig)!

<30-10-2017> SPP1908-Pig Pig (F), around seven years old at that time, WAS under our Special Protection Program after rescued by Anima on 14th July 2017, after a call from Mr. Chan reporting that a dog was injured in a site of Coloane. SPP1908-Pig Pig was sent to a clinic for an x-rays. The report showed that she has a fracture in her right hind leg. After having the surgery, she has stayed with us until fully recovered. She has all vaccination and already spayed. Today she can return to her former place. Mr. Chan is responsible for her in the area. Thanks Mr. Chan! Please help us to help them! Anima-October Foster (C1100-Tut Tut)!

<30-10-2017> Tut Tut was fostered by Ms Wong again on 30th October 2017! C1100-Tut Tut (F), around six months old at that time, was rescued by Anima on 12th January 2016 and was temporarily fostered by Ms. Wong on 4th September 2017. On 6th October she was returned to the Cats' Paradise due to the upper respiratory problem and ear mites. Now she has finished the medication treatment and returned to Ms. Wong's home again. Anima-October Adoption (SPPC1694-Judd)!

<30-10-2017> Judd was adopted by Ms. Wong on 30th October 2017! See him now and when was rescued! SPPC1694-Judd (M), around five months old at that time, was under our Special Protection Program and was rescued by Anima on 22nd August 2017, after a call from Michele, reporting that Judd needed medication support. SPPC1694-Judd's left eye seemed blind already, he also had nasal and ocular discharge at that time. SPPC1694-Judd has recovered and now was adopted. Thanks Ms. Wong! Please Adopt and never Buy! <29-10-2017> Today, 71 people visited us, 28 of them were from Macau University of Science and Technology that came to our Dog Shelter! Thanks for your strong support! Pets are for life!ˇ More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to September 2017, Anima received 6,923 visitors, an increase of 31.8% as compared with the same period of last year. 108 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 40.3%, and we have been in 29 events organized by friends or by us! <29-10-2017> Basil was adopted by Ms. Chen on 29th October 2017! C1690-Basil (M), around three months old at that time, was rescued by Anima on 8th August 2017, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that a kitten was found in Rua de Coelho do Amaral. C1690-Basil was checked in our clinic. He has upper respiratory tract infections with eye problems and sneezing at that time. C1690-Basil has recovered and was now adopted. Thanks Ms. Chen! Anima-October Return to Family (1534-Sibala)!

<27-10-2017> Sibala has finished his accommodation at Anima for seven days and returns home now! 1534-Sibala (M), was rescued by Anima on 27th September 2015, around five years old at that time, after a call from Mr. Lung reporting that he couldn't take care of his dog anymore as his daughter just had a new born baby . Happily he was collected back by the family on 10th October 2015. He came back for a temporary accommodation from 21st October to 27th October 2017! If you adopt an animal from us you have the privilege to leave your animal in Anima during 15 days free of charge during the first year of adoption provided we have space. Never abandon your pet! Anima-October Sad News (C1738-Baldrick)!

<26-10-2017> C1738-Baldrick (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 25th October 2017, after a call from Mr. Fong saying that he found an injured cat crawling on the street. C1738-Baldrick has no feeling on his legs, so we sent him to the clinic. Baldrick has hip fracture and has a hole in the thoracic diaphram. Some organs from the lower body were pushed up towards the lung. Also some small wounds were on the skin. After consulting one vet's opinion, we also sent him to the second vet for suggestion. Both suggest to have a high risk and expensive surgery for Baldrick, He was very weak now and entered in suffer. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision! R.I.P. my friend! Please help us...
