Anima-October Adoption (C1603-Maya)!

<13-10-2017> Maya was adopted by Mr. Alan on 13th October 2017! C1603-Maya (F), around six months old at that time, was rescued by Anima on 18th June 2017, after a call from Ms. Yu reporting that her neighbors found a cat fell into her balcony at Edificio Wan Seng. The neighbors contacted fire department to help but they were not allowed to enter Ms. Yu's apartment. C1603-Maya was checked by our vet. Her right leg was limping and needed further examination. C1603-Maya has stayed with us and was now adopted. Thanks Mr. Alan! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima-October Return to Family (C1715-Cruz)!

<13-10-2017> C1715-Cruz (M), around six months old, was rescued by Anima on 21st September 2017, after a call from Ms. Chu reporting that there was a kitten at Kao Yip School couple days before. She tried to feed him but he didn't eat the food. She asked us for help. C1715-Cruz was checked by our vet and dewormed. He has stayed at the Cat Paradise since that day. Today we received a call from Cruz's owner Ms. U. She said that Cruz used to live in her shop. Now she promised will keep Cruz in her apartment instead of inside her shop. Anima-October Sad News (C1230-Mat)!

<12-10-2017> C1230-Mat (M), around one year old at that time, was rescued by Anima on 8th July 2016, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that a cat was living in the car park of Nam Sun Garden Building. He was checked by our vet and stayed with us. On 10th October he was found with bloated belly and vomited some yellowish liquid. He was sent to a clinic immediately. The ultrasound showed that his abdomen was full of ascites and suspected FIP. This morning he was found dehydrated, jaundice and with difficulty in breathing. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision! R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima-October Foster (C1456-Misty)!

<11-10-2017> Misty was fostered by Mr. Dennis again on 11th October 2017! C1456-Misty (F), around nine months old at that time, was rescued by Anima on 14th March 2017, after a call from Ms. Bing informing that she had 16 cats but she was not able to keep them anymore as she was sick and needs to have a surgery. C1456-Misty was brought by Ms. Bing's son to Cats' Paradise. She was checked by our vet and dewormed. On 1st September 2017, she was fostered by Mr. Dennis. However on 16th September she was sent to us as she had upper respiratory tract infection and refused to eat. Now she has finished the medication treatment and returned to Mr. Dennis's home again. <11-10-2017> Delta was adopted by Mr. Ho on 11th October 2017! C1520-Allie (F), around one year old at that time, was rescued by Anima on the 9th May 2017, after a call from Ms. Sandy reporting that she feeds some cats in Guia and she found many have been poisoned there. C1520-Allie was pregnant and was delivered to Cat Paradise for quarantine. On 10th May 2017, she gave birth to C1523-Alfa, C1524-Beta, C1525-Gamma, C1526-Delta, C1527-Omega! Anima-October Rescue (C1730-Brienne)!

<10-10-2017> C1730-Brienne (F), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 10th October 2017, after a call from Mr. Chan informing that a mother cat gave birth to several kittens recently in a car park. He asked us for help. We set up a trap and four kittens were caught. We continue to place the trap there and today we caught the mother cat. All of them were checked by our vet and dewormed. <09-10-2017> C1728-Tyrion (M) and C1728-Jamie (M), both around one month old, were rescued by Anima on 9th October 2017, after a call from Mr. Chan informing that a mother cat gave birth to several kittens recently in a car park. He asked us for help. On 8th October we set up a trap and two kittens, C1726-Aray and C1727-Sansa were caught. Today we caught two more kittens, C1728-Tyrion and C1729-Jamie. They were checked by our vet and dewormed. C1729-Jamie has nasal and ocular discharge. We continue to place the trap there to catch the mother cat. Thanks Mr. Chan! Please help us to help them! Anima-Sheung Kung Hui Youth Service visited us!

<08-10-2017> Today, 38 people visited us, 15 of them were from Sheung Kung Hui Youth Service Team that came to our Cat's Paradise! Thanks for your strong support! Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to September 2017, Anima received 6,923 visitors, an increase of 31.8% as compared with the same period of last year. 108 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 40.3%, and we have been in 29 events organized by friends or by us! Anima-October Sad News (C1651-Foxy)!

<08-10-2017> C1650-Felix (M) and C1651-Foxy (F), both around one month old at that time, were rescued by Anima on 20th July 2017, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that two kittens were found in the road of Portas do Cerco. C1650-Felix and C1651-Foxy were checked by our vet and dewormed. They have been staying at our Cat's Paradise since then. C1651-Foxy was found getting skinny and has not grown much recently. <08-10-2017> C1726-Arya (F) and C1727-Sansa (F), both around one month old, were rescued by Anima on 8th October 2017, after a call from Mr. Chan informing that a mother cat gave birth to several kittens recently in a car park. He asked us for help. We set up a trap and two kittens, C1726-Aray and C1727-Sansa were caught. They were checked by our vet and dewormed. C1727-Sansa has conjunctivitis.
