Anima-September Rescue (C1716-Laf)!

<24-09-2017> C1716-Laf (M), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 24th September 2017, after a call from Ms. Manuela reporting that a kitten was found near Coloane Prison with scratch injury on the hind leg. He was sent to a clinic for consultation. He is slight dehydrated, with ocular and nasal discharge, and has upper respiratory tract infection. He stays at the clinic for observation and treatment. Anima-Macao Anglican College visited us!

<23-09-2017> Today, 46 people visited us, three of them were from the Anglican College that came to our Cat´s Paradise to do volunteer work! Thanks for your strong support! Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to August 2017, Anima received 6,429 visitors, an increase of 36.7% as compared with the same period of last year. 98 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 42.0%, and we have been in 28 events organized by friends or by us! Anima-September Sad News (C1578-Pea)!

<23-09-2017> The mother cat C1562-Heidi (F), around two years old at that time, was rescued by Anima on 29th May 2017, after a call from Mr. Leong informing that he has rescued a pregnant cat, C1562-Heidi. As he had no experience for taking care of a pregnant cat, he asked us to help. On 7 June 2017, she gave birth to C1577-Cabbage, C1578-Pea, C1579-Celery and C1580-Eggplant. All of them stayed at Cat's Paradise from that time. Unfortunately C1578-Pea passed away today. He got bloated belly, diarrhea and FIP. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Anima-September Sad News (1707-Moppy)!

<21-09-2017> 1707-Moppy (F), around seven years old at that time, was rescued by Anima on 18th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina, informing that 1707-Moppy was found near Jockey Club. 1707-Moppy was not moving well and was soaked under the rain. We collected her and no microchip was found on her. She was recovered and stayed with us. Today she was found with difficulty in breathing and the x-ray showed there was a mass at the trachea. Anima-September Rescue (C1715-Cruz)!

<21-09-2017> C1715-Cruz (M), around six months old, was rescued by Anima on 21st September 2017, after a call from Ms. Chu reporting that there was a kitten at Kao Yip School couple days ago. She tried to feed him but he didn't eat the food. She asked us for help. C1715-Cruz was checked by our vet and dewormed. He is staying at the Cat Paradise for quarantine. Thanks Ms. Chu! Anima-September Rescue (C1714-Brea)!

<21-09-2017> C1714-Brea (F), around one month old, was rescued by Anima on 21st September 2017, after a call from Mr. Fan reporting that a kitten was found near a restaurant with eye infection. He collected C1714-Brea and asked us for help. C1714-Brea was checked and dewormed by our vet. She has severe upper respiratory infection, difficulty in breathing, dehydration and hypothermia. Anima-September Sad News (C1713-Kauls)!

<20-09-2017> C1713-Kauls (M), around one week old, was rescued by Anima on 18th September 2017, after a call from Ms. Sio reporting that there was a kitten alone near the Municipal Market of Patane. She asked us for help. We collected C1713-Kauls and he was checked by our vet. C1713-Kauls had an eye infection. He was temporarily fostered by our staff Ms. Peng as he needed milk feeding. C1713-Kauls was found with bloated belly and with difficulty in breathing this morning. He was sent to a clinic and some blood was found in his anus. Anima-September Sad News (R027-Bonnie)!

<20-09-2017> R027-Bonnie (M), around six years old at that time, was rescued by Anima on 28th June 2016, after a call from Ms. Kam reporting that a rabbit was given by her friend but she couldn´t keep him anymore as she will emmigrate soon. Bonnie was staying with us from that time. This morning Bonnie was very weak and didn't eat last night. We sent him to a clinic and the report showed he had a lot of pus inside his jaw. He started to have seizure and was suffering. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep.
