Anima–September Rescue (C1978-Iliana)!

<01-09-2018> C1978-Iliana (F), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 1st September 2018, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that a pregnant cat C1978-Iliana entered her shop in Hac Sa Wan. She was worried C1978-Iliana will give birth in her shop and she has no experience about that. She sent C1978-Iliana to a clinic and asked for our help. C1978-Iliana was collected and checked by us. <31-08-2018> 2054-Sparky (M), around seven years old, was rescued by Anima on 31st August 2018, after a call from Ms. Edith reporting that a greyhound was abandoned by the owner at IACM. Anima–August Rescue (C1977-Halliwell)!

<31-08-2018> C1977-Halliwell (F), around one week old, was rescued by Anima on 31st August 2018, after a call from Mr. Muhan reporting that he found a kitten, C1977-Halliwell is very young and with one eye closed. Anima–August Sad News (C1918-Alvin)!

<30-08-2018> C1918-Alvin (M), was rescued by Anima on 22nd June 2018 when he was around nine years old, after a call from Ms. Maria informing that she cannot keep her cat. She brought C1918-Alvin to Cats’ Paradise and asked us for help. C1918-Alvin was found with diarrhea on 28th August 2018. He was sent to clinic immediately. The blood test showed he has severe anemia, low Potassium and Sodium and low temperature. He had been under treatment and he refused to eat. Unfortunately, we were informed by the clinic that C1918-Alvin passed away last night. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! <30-08-2018> C1976-Wyatt (M), around one week old, was rescued by Anima on 30th August 2018, after a call from Ms. Liu reporting that she found a very young kitten and seems dying on street. She collected the kitten and asked for our help. C1976-Wyatt was collected and checked by us. He is very young and still not yet opened his eyes. Anima–August Rescue (SPPC1936, SPPC1937)!

<30-08-2018> SPPC1936-Fama (F) and SPPC1937-Faalon (M), were under our Special Protection Program on 26th July 2018 when they were around five months old. They were rescued by Anima on 30th August 2018 as they were prepared to desex at a clinic today. After the surgery, they were returned to the former place. Anima-Volunteers helped us!

<29-08-2018> Today, 17 people visited us, three of them were James, Carly and Margret that came to our Cats’ Paradise to do volunteer work! Thanks for your strong support! Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2017, we had 9,251 visitors an increase of 23% as compared with 7,519 in 2016! 137 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us. We were in 34 events organized by friends or by us! This year, up to July 2018, Anima received 5335 visitors, 98 groups of schools, companies and associations and we have been out in 13 events! Anima–August Sad News (2053-Oldie)!

<28-08-2018> 2053-Oldie (M), was rescued by Anima on 17th August 2018 when he was around twelve years old, after a call from Mr. Cheng reporting that a dog, 2053-Oldie is unable to stand and walk, seems dying. The owner is a 80-years-old lady that she cannot take care of the dog anymore. Mr. Cheng asked us for help. 2053-Oldie was sent to a clinic immediately. The X-ray showed 2053-Oldie has spur problem that causes him in pain and cannot walk. 2053-Oldie was given painkiller everyday to release his pain since that time. Yesterday 2053-Oldie refused to eat and had bloody diarrhea. His condition was getting worse and entered in suffer. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep.
