February Rescue and Abandonment (C1124 and C1125)!

C1124-Wai Wai and C1125-Mimi, around 7.5 years old, were rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Sek reporting that C1124-Wai Wai and C1125-Mimi originally belonged to his father, who passed away last year. His father’s will was that someone could take care of the cats. Mr. Sek inherited his will and had been feeding them for a while, but he decided would be better if the cats were taken care by us. We consider this as an abandonment but we want the best for the cats. Never Abandon your pets! Anima – February Rescue (1656-Granger)!

1656-Granger, around 2.5 months old, was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Laurie reporting that a puppy was found inside a box with towel in Hac Sa Beach yesterday. According to Ms. Laurie, Granger was very clean and well taken care of when she was found. Granger was abandoned! Ms. Laurie kept Granger at home overnight, but her dog was not friendly to Granger, so she asked us to help. Granger was brought to Anima by Ms. Laurie today. Thanks Ms. Laurie! Anima – February Return to Anima (1536-Paisley)!

Paisley was returned to Anima by the adopter! 1536-Paisley was rescued with 1535-Paiman, 1537-Pal, 1538-Palmer, 1539-Paloma, 1540-Paola and 1541-Parisa, four males and three females on 29th September 2015, after a call from Mr. Ho, regarding seven puppies, around two weeks old, that were born in a construction site and the mother was not properly feeding them. Paisley was adopted on 12th November 2015 and now returned. According to the adopter, Paisley was always biting things and people. According to him, his wife was bitten by Paisley yesterday and bled a lot and as his son has a heart disease and he is taking anticoagulant, it could be dangerous if he was bitten. Anima – January Rescue (1641 and 1642)!

1641-Sun and 1642-Kamsoon was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Lee reporting that both dogs were owned by his friend in Macau and his friend left Macau without taking the dogs. He cannot keep them anymore as he will go back to his country soon. We consider this as an abandonment but we want the best for the dogs. 1641-Sun, Shiba Inu, female, 3 years old, micro-chipped. 1642-Kumsoon, Bichon Frise, female, 3 years old, micro-chipped. Anima – January Rescue (C1110-Tordis)!

C1110-Tordis was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Ho reporting that her own cat gave birth to four kittens three months ago. Three of them were adopted by her relatives but she cannot find a family for C1110-Tordis, so she wanted to give us Tordis. We consider this as an abandonment but we want the best for the kitten. Anima – January Abandonment in Anima (C431-Jogi)!

C431-Jogi, adopted in Anima on 11th February 2013, was accommodated in Anima since 27th November 2015, as the adopter left Macau recently to study. The owner was supposed to get Jogi back in December. Now the family doesn’t want her back and abandon her in Anima. Oreo, Toffee, Chocolate and Popcorn Need New Families!

The owner of Oreo, Toffee, Chocolate and Popcorn has seven  dogs and he wants to give us four of them. All dogs were supposed to be given to adopters when they were puppies, but the owner’s mother was not willing to give them away at that time. We totally disagree with such decision but we want the best for those dogs. For us this is an abandonment! Oreo is a 1.5-year-old female Border Collie, vaccinated and not spayed yet. Anima – January Rescue (1623-Vamilla)!

1623-Vamilla, around two months old, was rescued outside Anima today. A lady came to Anima with Vamilla and said Vamilla was found wandering on a street in Seac Pai Van Public Housing, but her family is afraid of dogs, so she cannot keep her. There is a smell of shower when we were checking Vamilla. We are not sure that the dog didn't belong to the lady who brought her to us as she escaped very fast! Never abandon your pet! November abandonment in Kennel (1373-Malvina)! 

1373-Malvina is the daughter of SPP1365-Maffy that was rescued in January 13, 2015 almost at the last stage of her pregnancy. She had twelve babies in Anima on January 16, 2015, one of them Malvina. 1252-Bentley was adopted on 18th July 2015! Bentley is a husky, found at Rua da Praia do Manduco on June 21, 2014, with no microchip.
