Anima–March Rescue (1864-Lulu)!

<12-03-2017> 1864-Lulu (F), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 12th March 2017, as she was abandonned in front of Anima. She is staying in V1 (vet area room number one) and she will be socialized with other puppies in A4 (association area room number four) after quarantine. Please help us to help them! Anima–Abandonment and Rescue (C1448-Mufasa)!

<15-02-2017> C1448-Mufasa (M), around five years old, was rescued by Anima on 6th March 2017. Mufasa was abandoned in front of the entrance of Anima. Michele, our volunteer, saw a girl in early 20s with a cat bag standing in front of Anima. As the girl seemed agitated, Michele asked her if she could help, and the girl said C1448-Mufasa was given by a friend but now she could not take care of him anymore. The girl ran away. C1448-Mufasa was checked by our vet and dewormed. One of his canine teeth was broken and a few teeth were missing. He was healthy and was already castrated. He is staying in Anima Cats' Paradise for quarantine. Thanks Michele! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–February Return and Abandonment (C103-Mina)!

<28-02-2017> C103-Mina (F) was one of our cats that has lived in Anima for the longest time. Mina was adopted on 5th March 2016. However, according to the adopter she never adapted to her home. It seems very strange as the cats are animals that easily adapt to any house after one or two weeks! She is staying with us again now. An adoption is a serious decision! Anima–February Abandonment and Return (1843-Furby)!

<25-02-2017> 1843-Furby (M), was rescued by Anima on 1st February 2017, when he was around two months old, after a call from Mr. Lok reporting that a puppy was found alone hiding under a motorcycle near the Mercado Municipal da Taipa. Our shelter was full but we had no choice than to keep him as Furby was too young to survive by himself on the street. He was full of fleas and after quarantine was going to be socialized with other puppies. Furby was adopted on 7th February 2017. However, we were informed by the adopter that they wanted to return Furby as he ate stool and he destroyed everything in her apartment. Furby is now staying with us again. Abandonment, Cooperation Anima-IACM (1719, 1722)!

<23-02-2017> SPP1710-Mui Chui II (F), was rescued by Anima on 23rd April 2016, when she was around around 1.5 years old, after a call from Ms. Ah Peng informing that she was found pregnant somewhere in Coloane. An ultrasound showed that the fetus were already approx. seven weeks old. So we have decided for keeping the puppies! 1719-Kennis and 1722-Kassie together with 1718-Kimon, 1720-Kuni, 1721-Konya, 1723-Komie, 1724-Kolm, 1725-Kulee and 1726-Kerin were born on 11th May 2016. Kennis and Kassie were adopted on 27th August 2016. However, we were informed by the adopter that her landlord doesn’t allow her to have pets in the apartment. Kennis and Kassie were delivered to Macau Kennel by the adopter. By the rules of our cooperation with IACM, we were informed of this abandonment and we have collected them back to Anima already. Anima–Abandonment and Rescue (C1239-C1243, C1425)!

<17-02-2017> 1239-Handsome (M), with an estimated age of three years old, C1240-B Loi (F), with an estimated age of four years old, C1241-Playful (F), with an estimated age of 1.5 years old, C1242-Fei Mui (F) and C1243-Pineapple (M), both with an estimated age of four years old, were rescued by Anima on 22nd July 2016, after a call from Ms. Lou informing that she wanted to abandon her nine cats. That was not the first time she tried to do that. Last time the daughter didn’t authorize. She decided to abandon the five most active cats promising to find a good home for the remaining. C1239-Handsome, C1240-B Loi, C1241-Playful, C1242-Fei Mui and C1243-Pineapple were sent to us. They were collected back by Ms. Lou and her daughter on 30th July 2016, as the daughter was against the decision of abandoning them! However, today we received a call from Ms. Lou again telling...

Anima–Abandonment and Return (C1296-Cheese)!

<15-02-2017> C1296-Cheese (F), was rescued by Anima on 4th October 2016 at 6:30pm, when she was around two weeks old, after a call from Mr. Wong reporting that a kitten was found in Guia Municipal Park without the mother beside. Cheese had upper respiratory infection and dehydration. She was fostered temporarily by our supervisor Zoe as she needed milk feeding. Cheese was adopted on 9th February 2017. We were informed by the adopter that all the family member has been getting sick since she adopted cheese. Her elder sons were vomiting with diarrhea, and her younger son has an allergic reaction. Anima–Abandonment and Return (SPPC1254-Carrick)!

<08-02-2017> SPPC1254-Carrick (M), was rescued by Anima through Michele, when he was around two months old, on 5th August 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Carrick was brought to Anima and checked by our vet. His right eye was swollen and he had ringworm infection over the body. He was fostered temporarily by our staff Ms. Peng as he needed medication and observation. He was returned to his former place on 6th August 2016 and backed to Anima on 23rd August 2016 for adoption. Carrick was adopted on 18th September 2016. We were informed by the adopter today that her parents got sick and she needs to leave Macau for one year. Anima–January Abandonment and Return (1661-Jenson)!

<17-01-2017> 1661-Jenson (M), was rescued by Anima on 4th March 2016, with an estimated age of four months old, after a call from a security guard of a company somewhere in Coloane, reporting that a puppy, 1661-Jenson, was trapped in the branches inside the company and Jenson had a collar and leash on. According to the guard, 1661-Jenson was almost hit by a truck. For some unknown reason, Jenson keeps biting himself when he gets excited. And because of that, it was difficult for us to find a family for him. Jenson was adopted on 31st December 2016. We were informed by the adopter few days ago that Jenson destroyed several materials in his house and he is aggressive to everyone when they tried to stop him from chewing or destroying the things in house.
