Anima – September Sad News (C889-Coke)!

<25-09-2016> C889-Coke (M), was rescued by Anima on 30th January 2015, after a call from Ah Ming reporting that a cat was found limping in Areia Preta, in the building  San Mei On. Coke recovered from limping and had been staying with us since that. He was found in a bad shape and having diarrhea today. He was then sent to a clinic for consultation. He was weak and severely dehydrated. FIV test was run and the result was positive. Coke was then sent to a second clinic for further examination. The feline distemper test was run and the result was positive as well. He was suffering and the chance to heal him was very low. After discussed with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision! Anima – September Rescue and Sad News (B050-Pim)!

<22-09-2016> B050-Pim was rescued by Anima on 22nd September 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina reporting that Pim hit herself on the window and couldn’t stand properly afterwards. Pim was sent to a clinic immediately. We were informed by the clinic that Pim passed away suddenly in the afternoon without any symptoms. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Anima – September Rescue and Sad News (1804-Momo)!

<22-09-2016> 1804-Momo (M), three years old, was rescued by Anima on 22nd September 2016 night time, after a call from Ms. Lau reporting that a poodle was found dying in Rua do Almirante Sérgio. Momo was vomiting blood and he passed away before we arrived. According to the vet, the cause of death could be an internal injury in his head or poison. After we found the owner Ms. Lung on Facebook  the body was collected by her. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Be careful  and a responsible owner! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – September Sad News (C1285-Wellis)!

<20-09-2016> C1285-Wellis (F), three months old, was rescued by Anima on 19th September 2016, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that a kitten was found in a street. He sent Wellis to a clinic as she was having a seizure. According to the clinic, Wellis had congenital epilepsy, parasite infection and upper respiratory infection. He brought Wellis home but she suddenly lost control and struck herself on the wall. Mr. Leong had no way to take care of her and asked our help. We sent Wellis to a second clinic and see if we could do anything to help her. According to the second clinic, her congenital epilepsy caused her having seizure every 15 minutes and she was suffering a lot. After discussed with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and...

Anima – September Sad News (C1284-Luck)!

<20-09-2016> C1284-Luck (M), three years old, was rescued by Anima on 19th September 2016, after a call from Ms. Lai reporting that a cat was found dying in Av. de Almeida Ribeiro. Luck was sent to a clinic immediately. He was severe dehydrated. He was staying in the clinic for observation and under dripping. Anima – September Sad News (C1121-Sewell)!

<18-09-2016> C1121-Sewell (M), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 13th February 2016, after a call from Ms. Lau reporting that a cat was found dying in a building near Calçada do Januario and she asked us to help. Sewell was sent to a clinic immediately and he had to stay there for a while. He was found lethargic and refused to eat recently. His belly was bloated, most likely peritoneal effusion. September Rescue and Sad News (1801-Torando)!

<17-09-2016> 1801-Torando (M), around 2.5 months old, was rescued by Anima on 17th September 2016 already dead after a call from our rescue team reporting that a body was found in Estrada do Altinho de Ka Ho. The body was completely destroyed, probably he was killed by a truck. We collected the body and delivered to Macau kennel. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – September Sad News (B046-Rogi)!

<15-09-2016> B046-Rogi was rescued by Anima on 11th September 2016, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that she found a pigeon in Fai Chi Kei the night before. She brought Rogi to home but Rogi was not eating. Rogi was sent to a clinic and had been staying in the clinic for observation. Anima – September Sad News (C1065-Fiorella)!

<02-09-2016> C1065-Fiorella (F) and C1066-Floria (F) were accepted by Anima on 31st October 2015 even if we have disagreed with the abandonment of the two pets. Who brought them to Anima referred that his tenant left two cats in his house on 2010. He had taken care of them for five years but because someone in the family had an allergy he couldn’t keep them anymore. This is a recurrent argument used by many members of our community for abandon their pets! Fiorella was found shrinking, getting skinny and slightly dehydrated two weeks ago. She was sent to a clinic and stayed there for a couple of days for further examinations. Her heart beat was very fast, the belly was bloated,  had peritoneal effusion and she was suspected to have FIP. She had been under observation since that but unfortunately we couldn’t save her. Fiorella passed away today. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon...
