Anima – July Sad News (1013-Sweet)!

<26-07-2016> 1013-Sweet (F), was rescued by Anima on 30th March 2013, after a call from our staff Ah Peng reporting that she found a dog stayed alone near New Yaohan. Sweet was adopted on 4th May 2013 but she was returned after few days because the adopter found she had epilepsy. She was sent to a clinic that confirmed epilepsy  and heart disease. Sweet was getting worse two days ago, hading seizure frequently, difficulty to breath and  became very weak. We tried our best but we still couldn’t save her. She passed away today. Sweet was a quiet, friendly and sweet girl that just wanted people to pet her. If you squat down in front of her, for sure she would come to you immediately. We all miss you! R.I.P. my friend! Anima – July Sad News (B036-Ubee)!

<25-07-2016> B036-Ubee, was rescued by Anima on 21st July 2016, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that she found an injured bird near Vella de Mar. One of the wings was broken. Our rescue team went to collect B036-Ubee and sent to a clinic used to handle these cases. Ubee was eating well in the first beginning but started vomiting last night. Unfortunately Ubee passed away today. R.I.P. my friend! Anima – July Rescue and Sad News (B035-Quip)!

<20-07-2016> B035-Quip was rescued by Anima on 20th July 2016, after a call from Mr. Ao reporting that a bird was found in Sacred Heart Canossian College. Quip was not able to fly but no superficial injuries was found on the body. Quip was sent to a clinic and checked by the vet. An injection and anti-inflammatory was given to Quip. The neck of Quip was broken and the vet said that the survival rate was very low even after the medication. Unfortunately Quip passed away half an hour after arriving Anima. Thanks Mr. Ao! Anima – July Rescue and Sad News (C1237-Bean)!

<19-07-2016> C1237-Bean (M), around two weeks old, was rescued by Anima on 19th July 2016, after a call from Mr. Hau reporting that a kitten was found in a box near Edificio Ip Heng in Seac Pai Van. Bean was very weak and not moving much. He was collected to Anima and checked by our vet. His both eyes were inflamed with yellowish discharge and nasal discharge. He had been milk feeding since morning but unfortunately he passed away in the afternoon. Thanks Mr. Hau! R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – July Rescue and Sad News (B034-Tappo)!

<18-07-2016> B034-Tappo was rescued by Anima on 18th July 2016, after a call from Mr. Sio reporting that a bird fell down to the water fountain near Taipa Stadium. He took Tappo out from the water but Tappo was very weak and had an injury in one leg. Tappo was sent to a clinic. Unfortunately Tappo passed away few minutes after arriving the clinic. Anima – July Sad News (1756-Canaan)!

1756-Canaan (F), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 29th June 2016, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that a puppy was found in a carton box in a construction site of MGM, soaking from the rain earlier, shaking and barely moving. We picked up Canaan and she was checked by our vet. Parvovirus test and Distemper test both were negative. She had difficulty in breathing and the gums were pale, right eye was blind. She was sent to a clinic for further consultation and examination. Blood test showed she was anemic. She was staying in clinic under IV dripping. She came back but suddenly collapsed. She went to another clinic that after several examinations suspects could be a bacterial infection that affected the brain or the central nerve system. B032-Lonely was rescued by Anima on 9th July 2016, after a call from Ms. Diana reporting that a bird couldn’t fly near Rua Afonso de Albuquerque. Lonely was sent to a clinic immediately. Anima – July Sad News (1678-Leanna)!

SPP1669-Loi Loi, under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 12th March 2016 after a call from a lady reporting that SPP1669-Loi Loi and SPP1670-Angel were two of the 28 dogs that she has been taking care of in her house, and both of them needed to be spayed. Anima has been supporting food and medical care for all of her dogs since 17th April 2014. This is a distressed situation that we do not advise anyone to deal with! SPP1669-Loi Loi and SPP1670-Angel were delivered to a clinic for de-sex surgery. SPP1670-Angel was spayed and returned to her in good condition. However, SPP1669-Loi Loi was found pregnant and she had to stay in Anima temporarily to give birth. SPP1669-Loi Loi gave birth to six puppies on 20th March 2016, 1677-Layla, 1678-Leanna, 1679-Lavon, 1680-Lavar, 1681-Lawton and 1682-Lawson. 1677-Layla was born with abnormality and she had cleft palate. Anima – July Sad News (H009-Toe Toe)!

H005-Dim Dim (M), H006-Sum Sum (F), around four months old, together with three new born babies H007-Tic Tic, H008-Tac Tac and H009-Toe Toe, were rescued by Anima on 6th July 2016, after a call from Ms. Muk, a cleaner in Edificio Wang Son. She found H005-Dim Dim, H006-Sum Sum, H007-Tic Tic, H008-Tac Tac and H009-Toe Toe in a cage abandoned in the garbage room with a note. H006-Sum Sum is the mother of H007-Tic Tic, H008-Tac Tac and H009-Toe Toe. They were collected by us and H005-Dim Dim was staying in a separated cage, while H006-Sum Sum was staying with the three babies in another cage! Toe Toe was found death this morning!
