Anima – June Sad News (C1214-Caelan)!

Caelan left us today, 9th June 2016! C1173-Cheddar (F), was rescued by Anima on 21st April 2016, after a call from Mr. Wai informing that Cheddar fall down from the terrace of Jardim da Victoria (Block H). Our rescue team found Cheddar trapped in a closed terrace of the building. She was collected, checked and dewormed. Cheddar was dehydrated, had fever and gum problems. She was also pregnant! Cubbie was born by Cheddar on 5th June 2016 but died during the process. The other two babies, Caelan and Calla were taken out by surgery. Now Caelan died also. R.I.P. my friend! Anima – June Sad News (C1212-Salmo)!

Salmo left us today, 9th June 2016! C1189-Sabrin (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 10th May 2016, after a call from Ms. Kou reporting that she found a pregnant cat at R. de João de Araujo. Sabrin was picked up by our rescue team and checked by our vet. Her belly was very big and tense, the spirit seemed good, but the ears were dirty. She gave birth to C1208-Sage (M), C1209-Sirus (M), C1210-Shahi (F), C1211-Saber (M) and C1212-Salmo (M) on 31st May 2016. Unfortunately Sage was found dead on 31st May 2016 and now Salmo left us also. R.I.P. my friend! June New Born and Sad News (C1213, C1214, C1215)!

C1173-Cheddar (F), on the time around 10 months old, was rescued by Anima on 21st April 2016, after a call from Mr. Wai informing that Cheddar fell down from the terrace of Jardim da Victoria (Block H). Our rescue team found Cheddar trapped in a closed terrace of the building. She was collected, checked and dewormed. Cheddar was dehydrated, had fever and gum problems. She was also  pregnant! Cubbie was born by Cheddar this morning, half of the body was out but the head was still stuck inside, and had no vital sign when being found. Cheddar was sent to a clinic immediately and Cubbie was confirmed as dead. The other two babies, Caelan and Calla were also  taken out and they are fine and healthy. Anima – June Sad News (SPPC1109-Phedra)!

SPPC1109-Phedra (F), around seven years old, was rescued by Anima on 20th January 2016, after a call from Michele reporting that a cat was found with a nose injury somewhere in Taipa. Phedra’s nostril got crusted and her tongue was injured as well. Auscultation indicated heart problem (arrhythmias). Some teeth was missing and most of them were worn. We were keeping an eye on her! She was getting worse and was sent to two clinics for second and third opinion. The crust of her nose was falling off, it was a big hole and the bone was totally exposed. The necrosis was so bad that could even see through the upper palate. According to the vet, the hole of her nose was getting bigger despite the chemotherapy, and her eyes could barely opened. The cancer had spread to the eyes and nervous system already. We did our best but she was already in suffer from Squamous cell...

Anima – June Sad News (C554-Angel)!

C554-Angel (F) was rescued on 28th July 2013 and died today! Angel was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Liu reporting that the stray cat used to feed by her was found pregnant. We picked her up to Anima. Angel had Renal Failure, the kidneys had been shutting down. She was refusing to eat  and got severely dehydrated. We tried our best but still couldn’t save her. Anima – June Sad News (B028-Ece)!

Ece passed away on 1st June 2016! B028-Ece was rescued by Anima on 31st May 2016, after a call from Ms. Si reporting that a bird was found injured in Rua de Fernão Mendes Pinto. The left eye of Ece couldn’t open and Ece couldn’t fly as well. Our rescue team sent Ece to a clinic. According to the vet, the left eye problem seemed to be caused by virus but was unable to identity. Ece was staying in clinic and  passed away this morning around 8am. Anima – May Rescue and Sad News (1733-Vica)!

1733-Vica (F), around six months old, was rescued by Anima already dead after a call from Mr. Chui reporting that a dog was found vomiting blood and bleeding from the head in Macau Stadium. She was lying and panting on the floor. Vica passed away after we arrived. No staff of Macau Stadium knew what happened and how she entered there. The dogs rarely enter that area. C1202-Gliton (M) was born on 24th May 2016 and died today! SPPC1194-Glenda (F), around ten months old,  under our Special Protection Program since 18th May 2016,  was found pregnant and brought to Anima by Michele. Anima – May Sad News (C1205-Mochi)!

C1205-Mochi (M) was rescued on 25th May 2016 and died today! Mochi, on the time around three days old, was rescued by Anima, after a call from Mr. Tai reporting that a kitten was found at R. dos Ervanarios. Mochi was brought to Anima. He had a little nasal discharge and a small wound near the throat. He was doing well in the past few days but refused to eat last night. He passed away this afternoon. R.I.P. my friend!
