1730-Song (M), around three months old, was rescued by Anima already dead after a call from Mr. Andrew reporting that a dead body was found near Rua da Patinagem. Anima – May Sad News (C899-Marcus)!

C899-Marcus (M) was rescued on 18th February 2015 and died today! Marcus was rescued near Santa Casa da Misericordia, after a call from Ms. Law reporting that Marcus stayed in the same place for two days. Our rescued team collected him and took to a clinic as we suspected he was injured by a car. After several months with us under treatment we were not able  to save him! R.I.P. my friend! Anima – May Sad News (1726-Kerin)!

1726-Kerin has passed away in the morning of May 12, 2016! 1726-Kerin (M) was born by SPP1710-Mui Chui II on 11th May 2016,  with 1718-Kimon, 1719-Kennis, 1720-Kuni, 1721-Konya, 1722-Kassie, 1723-Komie, 1724-Kolm and 1725-Kulee. SPP1710-Mui Chui II (F), around 1.5 years old, was rescued by Anima on 23rd April 2016, after a call from Ms. Ah Peng informing that she was found pregnant somewhere in Coloane. Mui Chui II entered to our Special Protection Program (SPP). An ultrasound showed that the fetus were already approx, seven weeks old. So we decided for keeping the puppies on that time! We found Kerin was lying far away from the mother, no injury was found on the body. Cause of death might be lack of milk and low temperature. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima – May Rescue and Sad News (C1191-Hamon)!

C1191-Hamon, around three months old, was rescued by Anima already dead after a call from Ms. Lei reporting that she found a kitten body at Av. Olimpica. According to the people in the shop nearby, the kitten died yesterday because of the rain, and the body was crushed by the cars several times afterwards. Anima – May Sad News (1145-Tuga)!

Tuga passed away this morning due to a Thyroid Carcinoma! Tuga was rescued on 28th October 2013 after a call from our president reporting that he found a dog with a broken leg in Coloane. She had a leg surgery and her condition was getting better on that time. But we found that Tuga had a tumor on her neck and as so she was sent to  a  clinic to remove the tumor on 7th December 2015. It was a huge lump and the thyroid got removed together as well. The sample was sent to HK for further diagnosis and we got the biopsy report on 19th January 2016: she had a carcinoma! She died today and we lost a very good friend! Her body will be delivered to IACM for incineration and we will keep the ashes. She was like an old granny in our shelter, friendly and never fighting with other dogs. Sometimes...

Anima – May Sad News (C1162-Raziya)!

C1162-Raziya (F) was rescued by Anima  on 15th April 2016 and died today! Raziya, on the time around 1.5 months old, was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that a kitten was found in Red Market. Raziya was sent to clinic for consultation on 25th April due to vomiting. She also started having diarrhea in the clinic, was dehydrated and has malnutrition. She was under IV dripping and stayed in the clinic for observation. Her blood sugar had started to maintain on 27th April but the diarrhea was not improving. Anima – April Sad News (C1156-Shane)!

C1156-Shane (F) was rescued on 10th April 2016 and died today! C1156-Shane was rescued by Anima after a facebook message from Ms. Ng. According to Ms. Ng, she used to feed C1156-Shane in Patane but C1156-Shane had disappeared for a long period of time. When she showed up again, she was dehydrated and very weak. Ms. Ng sent C1156-Shane to a clinic for treatment and intended to return her to former place after recovery and de-sex surgery. But the doctor said it would take a month for C1156-Shane to fully recover. It was beyond Ms. Ng’s budget expectation and she could not afford the hospitalization fee. We picked up C1156-Shane and transferred her to another clinic for observation. She was under IV Dripping. Unfortunately was too late to save her. She died today! R.I.P. my friend! Anima – April Sad News (C667-Dinah)!

C667-Dinah was rescued by Anima in Guia, on 7th March 2014, after a call from Ms. Wong. She was sick and Ms. Wong took her to a clinic and to Anima. She died today, almost two years after being rescued! She survived many virus crisis in Anima. Please believe us, shelters are not a safe place for cats especially if they live as free as they live with Anima! Once we detect a virus, it has already spread around, killing afterwards, tens of other animals! However, we refuse to have animals jailed forever as happens in Macau in a local animal welfare association! This is insane and cruelty! R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them!
