Anima – May Rescue and Sad News (C1191-Hamon)!

C1191-Hamon, around three months old, was rescued by Anima already dead after a call from Ms. Lei reporting that she found a kitten body at Av. Olimpica. According to the people in the shop nearby, the kitten died yesterday because of the rain, and the body was crushed by the cars several times afterwards. The body was deformed and could not identify the sex. The body was picked up by us already. R.I.P. my friend! Never abandon your pets! Abandoning a pet should be a crime! Please do not be cruel! Anima – May Sad News (1145-Tuga)!

Tuga passed away this morning due to a Thyroid Carcinoma! Tuga was rescued on 28th October 2013 after a call from our president reporting that he found a dog with a broken leg in Coloane. She had a leg surgery and her condition was getting better on that time. But we found that Tuga had a tumor on her neck and as so she was sent to  a  clinic to remove the tumor on 7th December 2015. It was a huge lump and the thyroid got removed together as well. The sample was sent to HK for further diagnosis and we got the biopsy report on 19th January 2016: she had a carcinoma! She died today and we lost a very good friend! Her body will be delivered to IACM for incineration and we will keep the ashes. Anima – May Rescue and Sad News (1716-Jano)!

1716-Jano (F), around five years old, was rescued by Anima already dead after a call from Mr. Ricardo reporting that a dead body was found near Seac Pai Van. The body was already slightly deformed because of the worms, possibly has been dead over a day. No notorious wound was found on the body and we collected it! R.I.P. my friend! Anima – May Sad News (C1162-Raziya)!

C1162-Raziya (F) was rescued by Anima  on 15th April 2016 and died today! Raziya, on the time around 1.5 months old, was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that a kitten was found in Red Market. Raziya was sent to clinic for consultation on 25th April due to vomiting. She also started having diarrhea in the clinic, was dehydrated and has malnutrition. She was under IV dripping and stayed in the clinic for observation. Her blood sugar had started to maintain on 27th April but the diarrhea was not improving. Anima – April Sad News (C1156-Shane)!

C1156-Shane (F) was rescued on 10th April 2016 and died today! C1156-Shane was rescued by Anima after a facebook message from Ms. Ng. According to Ms. Ng, she used to feed C1156-Shane in Patane but C1156-Shane had disappeared for a long period of time. When she showed up again, she was dehydrated and very weak. Ms. Ng sent C1156-Shane to a clinic for treatment and intended to return her to former place after recovery and de-sex surgery. But the doctor said it would take a month for C1156-Shane to fully recover. It was beyond Ms. Ng’s budget expectation and she could not afford the hospitalization fee. We picked up C1156-Shane and transferred her to another clinic for observation. She was under IV Dripping. Unfortunately was too late to save her. She died today! R.I.P. my friend! Anima – April Sad News (C667-Dinah)!

C667-Dinah was rescued by Anima in Guia, on 7th March 2014, after a call from Ms. Wong. She was sick and Ms. Wong took her to a clinic and to Anima. She died today, almost two years after being rescued! She survived many virus crisis in Anima. Please believe us, shelters are not a safe place for cats especially if they live as free as they live with Anima! Once we detect a virus, it has already spread around, killing afterwards, tens of other animals! Anima – April Sad News (SPP1424-Riorda)!

SPP1424-Riordan and SPP1425-Rosine were dogs under our Special Protection Program from February 28, 2015. They came to Anima for neutering on 11th July 2015. They lived in a construction site and Mr. Ah Fung was the responsible for them. Riordan was caught by a truck and died today! Please help us to help them! If you have a window of opportunity to foster or adopt any of our dogs we have an opportunity to collect others that are always subject to risk outside Anima! As we do not kill, it is impossible for us to rescue all dogs outside! Do not complain only! Anima – April Sad News (C1155-Afia)!

C1155-Afia was rescued on 9th April 2016 and died today, 14th April 2016! Afia is the sibling of C1154-Akoni (M) that was rescued by Anima on 8th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Leonor yesterday, reporting that there was a cat mother with two kittens (around 1.5 months old) somewhere near a restaurant in Coloane. According to Ms. Leonor, there were four kittens before but the mother always hide the kittens under the raining water channels. Two kittens were drowned and died on Monday after the heavy rain and Ms. Leonor was worried about the rest of them. C1154-Akoni was being taken care by our cats’ supervisor Ms. Ah Peng temporarily as he needs milk feeding. We set up the trap again to catch the other siblings and the mother, under the support of the staff from the restaurant! Afia died today! R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Anima – April Sad News (SPPC1152-Buffy)!

SPPC1152-Buffy, around 3 years old, was rescued by Anima on the 5th of April 2016, through Michele, and was under our Special Protection Program (SPP). SPPC1152-Buffy lived somewhere in Taipa and Michele was responsible for him in the area. She found him very weak and both eyes could barely open. She caught him that morning and brought to Anima. He also had yellowish discharge and his anemic, skinny and probably with fat liver. Heart and lungs were clear. Severely dehydrated and with hypothermia. He was not moving and refuses to eat. The prognosis was poor! He was in V6 under IV dripping, under close observation but died today! R.I.P. my friend! If you have capacity to adopt, please help us! Never abandon your pet! Anima – April Rescue and Sad News (1697-Kobee)!

1697-Kobee was rescued by Anima after a call from a lady reporting that she  brought 1697-Kobee to Macau but Kobee had diarrhea with blood and the overall health condition was not good. She took 1697-Kobee to a clinic but could not afford the vet bill. She asked if we could help to pay the vet bill and collect 1697-Kobee. 1697-Kobee has run a Distemper test and Parvovirus test. Both results were positive! The dog died in the clinic during the treatment and his body was sent by Anima to Macau Kennel. The bill will be, exceptionally, paid by us. Please Pay Attention, you must always comply with Macau laws. We will not disclose the details of this case but we strongly ask you to respect our laws being prudent! R.I.P. my friend!
