Anima – February Sad News (125-Catarina)!

125-Catarina was one of the dogs that had stayed with us for the longest time. Catarina’s body was shutting down lately due to heart failure. She suffered from liver and kidneys problem, dyspnea, bluish tongue, bloated belly, and fluids in the lungs as well. Today, we had to take the difficult decision to put her sleeping, but she  collapsed few minutes before! R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima – February Rescue and Sad News (1645-Kassy)!

1645-Kassy was rescued by Anima after our rescue team found the dead body of her somewhere in Coloane. There was no apparent injury on her body but small amount of blood came out from the vagina and diarrhea from the anus. Kassy was not under our supervision and was the first time we saw her! The dead body of Kassy was delivered to IACM. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima – January Rescue and Sad news (1644-Renni)!

1644-Renni was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Eva reporting that a puppy was hit by a truck near Parque Industrial da Concordia. Renni passed away a long time before we arrived. Anima – January Sad News (C573-Newfound)!

C573-Newfound was rescued on 26th August 2013 by Anima after a call from Ms. I reporting that a pregnant cat was found somewhere in Coloane. Newfound’s body was shutting down lately due to Pneumonia. She had depression, anorexia, hypothermia and severe dehydration even she was on fluid for the past few days, and food was given by force feeding. She was suffering! Newfound was euthanized after a favorable opinion of a vet and two board members approval. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima – January Sad News (C1108-Wafery)!

C1108-Wafery was rescued on 18th January by Anima after a call from Mrs. Miu reporting that a cat was found dying in Patio da Palha. Wafery was sent to a clinic immediately by Anima. The blood test result showed that he had pancreas failure with anemia. He was very weak with low temperature. Wafery passed away this morning. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima – January Sad News (SPP1100-Timothy)!

SPP1100-Timothy was under our Special Protection Program since 2nd June 2013. We were informed by the volunteer in charge of SPP1100-Timothy that the body of Timothy was found on the street somewhere in Coloane near where he lived. We are not sure if he was hit by a car. The body of Timothy was probably picked up by IACM or CSR  before Anima arrived. Timothy was happy on the place where he lived and only our volunteer was capable to handle him, even being friendly! C482-Tux was rescued by Anima on 27th April 2013 in the International School of Macau area. Tux’s health condition was getting worse. The vets were not able to improve it! SPPC1088-Qing was rescued by Anima on 14th December 2015 after a call from Michele reporting that he was found bleeding from the eyes and nose. Qing was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma after a blood test result was returned from Hong Kong. Qing was euthanized after a favorable opinion of a vet and two board members approval. Anima – January Rescue and Sad News (C1099-Anisa)!

C1099-Anisa was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Chiu reporting that a cat was hit by a car near R. Um do Bairro da Areia Preta. She was suffered from severe injuries. Our rescue team arrived after 10 minutes and C1099-Anisa was found died already. According to the witness, Anisa was hit by a car. The dead body of Anisa was delivered to IACM by Anima.
