Anima – December Rescue (C1087-Tanner)!

C1087-Tanner was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Ho  reporting that he was hit by a car near Iao Hon Market. Our rescue team went to the site and confirmed he was dead. The body of C1087-Tanner was delivered to Anima. R.I.P. my friend! Do not Abandon your pet! Abandoning a pet should be a crime! C1083-Maceo was rescued by Anima on 6th December 2015 during the rescue of 1601-Kanani. Maceo was sent to a clinic for consultation and hospitalized due to severe diarrhea. Maceo passed away today. Anima – December Sad News (C652-Baldur)!

C652-Baldur died today! Please see a good picture of him before getting sick! Baldur was one of the five babies of SPPC638-Big Eye (C649 to C653) rescued from a site near a restaurant in February 2014. They were born on 24 February 2014. C652-Baldur was FECV positive, but we decided that he should live as much as possible unless enters in suffer. He was in our B14 area, an area closed to public, for animals severely sick! As we suspected  that he began to enter in suffer he was sent to a clinic, dying there of a lot complications including renal failure! C652-Baldur died today! R.I.P. my friend! Anima – December Sad News (1583-Harman)!

1583-Harman died today! He was the son of Rada. SPP1577-Rada was under our Special Protection Program (SPP) from 13th November. She was found by our rescue team during the daily feeding somewhere in Macau. She is the mother of five puppies, under our protection from 19th November 2015: SPP1579-Hedda, SPP1580-Hedy, SPP1581-Hanson, SPP1582-Hennie and SPP1583-Harman. All were sick with parvovirus and tick fever. 1583-Harman died today. It is very sad looking to those faces! Why people are so cruel? Anima – November Sad News (SPP1580-Hedy)!

SPP1580-Hedy was rescued by Anima as she was sick. Hedy, under our SPP, is the daughter of SPP1577-Rada that is also under our Special Protection Program (SPP) from 13th November. Rada was found by our rescue team during the daily feeding, somewhere in Macau. She is the mother of five puppies, all also under our protection few days ago: SPP1579-Hedda, SPP1580-Hedy (now with us), SPP1581-Hanson, SPP1582-Hennie and SPP1583-Harman. As there are no people taking care of them, our rescue team is the responsible for them in the area. We are completely full otherwise all those puppies should be collected by Anima! Anima – November Sad News (SPP755-Mango)!

SPP755-Mango was rescued by Anima on 17th October 2015, after a call from Mr. Ah Seng telling that SPP755-Mango was not eating properly. SPP755-Mango was sent to a clinic for a blood test. He had tick fever and stayed with us up to now. Besides all the good job done by the clinic, Mango entered in suffer and we decided to euthanize him! Euthanasia is only allowed in Anima after a favorable opinion of a vet and the approval of two Board of Directors’ members, being the president the last one. Sometimes the president asks for a second vet opinion before the final decision is taken! R.I.P my friend! Never abandon your pet! SPP1479-Lor Lor, SPP1480-Black Head, SPP1481-Little Lor and SPP1482-Da Ban were living in a construction site somewhere in Macau, being Ivan their responsible. All of them were delivered to Coloane kennel on 24th June 2015, as part of our cooperation program with IACM. Lor Lor got sick and after being subject to medical attention died from renal failure! Anima – October Rescue and Sad News (1573-Trista)!

If you are sensitive, please do not open! 1573-Trista, still a puppy, was rescued by Anima already dead after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that the body of a  dog  was found in Estrada da Baía de Nossa Senhora da Esperança. Anima – October Sad News (C253-Micha)!

C253-Micha was recued by Anima on 13th May 2011. She was an old cat and older than her with us  in our shelter, we have only nine cats! More than 800 cats entered in Anima after her! She died today unexpectedly! Living in a crowded shelter creates a lot of risks to cats. If you want to abandon your cat in Anima, please reconsider. A shelter environment is not the most appropriate for a pet, even if we try our best to keep them in freedom and medically supervised! Any kind of virus (cat flu, FIP, etc) can provoke a real disaster in all other cats! We had in the past very complicated situations with animals that did because some virus had spread! And we still continue to face such problems as we may have around 30 cats, isolate from others, with serious health problems! Only if they enter in suffer we are authorized, always...
