Anima March rescue and sad news (1428-Finley)

1428-Finley was rescued by Anima in Estr. do Altinho de Ka Ho (Coloane main road) caught by a car. He was already dead. If you are working with animals not under the umbrella of any organized Society for the Protection of Animals please never feed any animal in the road, specially in that road. Try to do it in the mountain. Keep the environment always clean. Never throw the food in the floor! We are finding an increase number of animals abandoned or just born all over Macau and islands! 1368-Morris was the smallest one of the 12 babies of SPP1365-Maffy that was rescued on January 13, 2015 in the last stage of her pregnancy. They were born on January 16, 2015. C179-Sakura was rescued in March 25, 2010. She was only around five years old. C887-Ozzie was rescued by Anima on January 27, 2015. He was found in a carton box at Avenida do Almirante Lacerda and the body temperature was very low. Ozzie died in Anima one day after coming from a clinic. We were not expecting that as he was beginning to eat well even if we know that dying was always a possibility as he seems having neurologic problems. He was staying in V6 (vet area, room 6). We continue to have a serious problem in our cat area. Anima has 147 cats of which 127 in our shelter and the others being fostered! Never abandon your pet! Abandoning your pet should be a crime! C890-Lyndon was rescued on February 1, 2015 and deceased today at 5:00 am in the house of our temporary foster family and staff. We did the best as the rescue was done night time. Many cats are found dead by very low temperatures in Guia and other places. Contacted IACM they informed us that cats are not killed by rats poison. Sometimes they are killed by stray dogs!
