Anima–December Sad News (307-Aron)!

<19-12-2022> 307-Aron (M), one of our senior dogs, has been living in Anima since his rescue. Recently, 307-Aron was found weak, unable to stand or walk and he was sent to a clinic for consultation. Aron received an injection to relief pain and acupuncture treatment, although prognosis was bad, also due to his advanced age. Besides all medical efforts, he passed away today. R.I.P. our friend! Anima–December Sad News (C2517-July)!

<08-12-2022> Ten cats, C2511-January (M) and C2512-February (M), both around two years old, C2513-March (M), around eight years old, C2514-April (M), around two years old, C2515-May (F), C2516-June (M), C2517-July (F) and C2518-August (M), all around one year old, September (F), around two years old and C2520-October (F), around one year old back then, were rescued by Anima on 11th February 2021, from Macau Kennel as they were completely full. All were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, C2517-July has been hospitalized in a clinic under medical care. She had been taking medication for months. Health exams showed severe anemia and high inflammation from her kidneys. According with the vet, July's appetite had been on and off at the clinic and her gingivitis got worst. Painkiller medication was prescribed. Besides all medical efforts in the clinic, and later in our Cats’ Paradise, C2517-July passed away, today. R.I.P. our friend! Please Adopt and Never Buy! Anima–December Sad News (SPP721-Ah Wong)!

<07-12-2022> SPP721-Ah Wong (M), one of our senior dogs, recently, was found sick, with no strength to stand up on himself. IAM was informed that Ah Wong needed an urgent consultation. Upon arriving Coloane kennel, Ah Wong passed away. After examination to his body, it was diagnosed a gastric dilatation and volvulus (GDV). R.I.P. our friend! Please Adopt and Never Buy! Anima–December Sad News (824-Lola)!

<01-12-2022> 824-Lola (F), one of our senior dogs, has been living in Anima since her rescue. Recently, 824-Lola was found sick, with a wound and she was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the clinic, Lola might have other health problems that need intensive medical care. Prognosis was bad, also due to her advanced age. Besides all medical efforts, she passed away today. Anima–December Sad News (C1952-Gimli)!

<01-12-2022> C1952-Gandalf (M), around three years old, C1953-Elrond (M), around two years old, C1954-Gimli (M), around eight years old and C1955-Frodo (M) around two years old back then, were rescued by Anima on 10th August 2018, after a call from IAM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. All of them were licensed, desexed and vaccinated at IAM and welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, C1954-Gimli was found sick, without appetite and seems to be lethargic. He was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, Gimli has ascites and intestinal lymph nodes enlarged. Prognosis was bad and besides all medical efforts, he passed away today. Anima–November Sad News (C1752-Faddey)!

<30-11-2022> C1751-Faas (M), C1752-Faddey (M), C1753-Fabienne (F), C1754-Fairfax (M), C1755-Farah (F), C1756-Fedora (F), C1757-Feri (M), C1758-Femke (F) and C1759-Feray (F), were rescued by Anima on 10th November 2017 back then, after a call from IAM reporting that they did not have enough space for the cats. They were all vaccinated by IAM. All were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, C1752-Faddey was found Weak and not willing to eat. She was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, Faddey has a severe pancreatitis and she has to be hospitalized to avoid dehydration. Ultrasound was made, showing a kidney failure. Anima–November Sad News (C1311-Yuki)!

<21-11-2022> C1311-Yuki (M), was rescued by Anima on 1st December 2016 when he was around eight years old. He was supposed to be accommodated in Anima for seven days from 15th October 2016 to 22nd October 2016. However, the owner abandoned him in Anima and disappeared. Since then, Yuki has been living in our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, C1311-Yuki developed pancreatitis. Also, a heart problem and kidney problems were diagnosed in a clinic. Anima–November Sad News (599-Terra)!

<17-11-2022> 599-Terra (M), one of our senior dogs, has been living in Anima since his rescue. Recently, 599-Terra was found vomiting and weak. He was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, Terra has a gastric dilatation volvulus (GDV) and he needs an emergency surgery. He has been hospitalized. Anima–November Sad News (C1453-Kochi)!

<15-11-2022> C1452-Kisu (F), with an estimated age of two years old, C1453-Kochi (M), with an estimated age of three years old, and C1454-Hokke (F), with an estimated age of six years old back then, were rescued by Anima after a call from IAM reporting that they did not have enough space for cats. They were all neutered and vaccinated by IAM. C1452-Kisu, C1453-Kochi and C1454-Hokke were delivered to our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, C1453-Kochi was found sick and weak. He was sent to a clinic for consultation. Health tests were positive for feline corona virus, FIV, and he had also kidney failure. Anima–November Sad News (1839-Seven)!

<14-11-2022> 1838-Nam Nam (M), with an estimated age of two years old, together with 1839-Seven (M), around ten months old back then, were rescued by Anima on 20th January 2017, after a call from IAM reporting that there were two dogs needing our help. According to the kennel, Nam Nam and Seven were rescued by an animal association before, but that association didn’t have a shelter. Anima and IAM cooperated to rescue more stray animals! Recently, 1839-Seven was found with a lump on the nose. He was sent to a clinic for consultation. X-ray images showed that an unclear of nasal bones structure have been disintegrated, and seems to have affected almost his eye ball. A nose cancer was diagnosed and, according with the vet, there was only an option to provide a better quality of life as long as possible.
