Anima–February Sad News (584-Nocas)!

<14-02-2022> 584-Nocas (F), one of our senior dogs, has been living in Anima for many years. Recently, she got sick and was sent to a clinic for consultation. 584-Nocas has been hospitalized in a clinic since 8th February 2022. Her blood test results indicated that she was suffering from kidney failure and need to be under treatment. An ultrasound examination showed a mass in her spleen and suspect it's a tumor. Unfortunately, and despite our efforts, she did not survive, and her body will be delivered in IAM. Please, help us giving them an opportunity to be adopted before it is too late! <13-02-2022> Sadly, our senior dog 889-Pierre has passed away. Pierre had been living in our shelter since 2012 and was now 11 years old. He seems to have passed away due to heart disease. Anima–February Sad News (T026-Molly)!

<12-02-2022> Our turtle T026-Molly (F) was rescued by Anima on the September 8, 2019, when she was around five years old. The person who abandoned her sent us an e-mail back then claiming that she had grown too big for his aquarium. Molly was then welcomed into Cat’s Paradise. Sadly, after three years of a healthy life at our pond, Molly passed away this afternoon. R.I.P., our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–February Sad News (215-Peter)!

<10-02-2022> 215-Peter (M), one of our senior dogs and rescued by Anima long time ago, got sick recently. He was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, his blood test’s results showed a little anemic and an infection. Pancreatitis test result was positive. Also, an Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) in the lumbar spine was making him uncapable to move his legs. 215-Peter was hospitalized, and he stood under treatment for each problem. Unfortunately, despite our efforts and from the clinic, they called us to inform that he did not survive. His body will be delivered in IAM. Anima–February Sad News (C2694-Benz)!

<02-02-2022> C2694-Benz (M), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 31st January 2022, after a fakebook message from Mr. António referring that he picked up a kitten in the middle of Friendship Bridge and kept him temporarily inside his car. He asked us help. The kitten was picked up by our rescue team and sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, C2694-Benz was breathing with difficulty. Blood tests showed anemia, inflammation, and jaundice. Also, an X-ray showed some shadows on his right lung, suspected from a pulmonary hemorrhage. All were rescued and sent immediately to a vet clinic. C2694-Benz will be hospitalized until recover. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, he did not survive, and his body will be delivered in IAM. Anima–January Sad News (C1991-Machau)!

<20-01-2022> C1991-Machau (M), around two years old and C1992-Marissa (F), around one year old back then, were rescued by Anima on 6th September 2018, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. All of them were licensed, desexed and vaccinated at IACM. Anima and IACM sometimes cooperate to save as many animals as possible! They were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, C1991-Machau got sick, with serious kidney problems. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, he passed away today, and his body will be delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend! <12-01-2022> The cats, C2468-Manisha (F), around five months old, C2469-Pontus (M), around two years old, C2470-Piper (M), around five months old, C2471-Philo (M), around two and half years old, C2472-Maggie (F), around seven months old, C2473-Makana (F), around one year old, C2474-Manee (F), around one year old and C2475-Porter (M), around four years old back then, were rescued by Anima on 31st December 2020, after a call from IAM reporting that they were out of space for cats. Rescue Team brought them all to Anima already vaccinated and with microchip. They were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, C2471-Philo got sick and with serious kidney and liver health problems. Anima–January Sad News (C1174-Bella)!

<09-01-2022> C1174-Bella (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 22nd April 2016, after a call from Mr. Andrii, informing that he could not take care of C1174-Bella anymore as he was going back to Europe very soon. C1174-Bella was rescued by Mr. Andrii from the street. She was de-sexed and vaccinated. Recently, C1174-Bella got sick her kidneys. According to the vet, she not also has stones inside her kidneys as also she has stones on her bladder. Bella started a treatment, but unfortunately, despite all medical efforts, she did not survive. <05-01-2022> 249-Fido (M), one of our eldest dogs, had been in Anima for long time. Very friendly and playful with everyone, he welcomes every single visitor in our shelter. Recently, Fido got sick from thyroid and his kidneys didn’t go well either. 249-Fido was sent to a vet clinic for treatment. <01-01-2022> On a sad note, our cat C1538-Sanna has passed away. Sanna had been rescued from Macau Municipal Kennel on 18 May, 2017, when she was eight months old.
