Anima–July Sad News (SPP2377-Kururu)!

<20-07-2021> SPP2377-Kururu (M), a dog around two years old, is under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 27th June 2021. He is living under Mr. Cheong’s responsibility in a Ka-Ho Workshop. Kururu suffers from severe conjunctivitis, and he was sent to a clinic by our team. Recently, SPP2377-Kururu have been hospitalized due to the swelling of his eyes. According to the vet, it might be cancer, but he is too weak for chemotherapy. Unfortunately, despite all medical discussions and our efforts to keep him alive, SPP2377-Kururu passed away. His body will be delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–July Sad News (C2594-Romeo)!

<13-07-2021> C2594-Romeo (M), around four years old, was rescued by Anima on 12th July 2021, after received a call from Ms. Santos reporting that she saw a cat, C2594-Romeo lying on the road at Beco do Tabaco and he was unable to move. She placed C2594-Romeo inside a carton box and asked us to help. C2594-Romeo was immediately sent to a clinic for consultation. Blood Test was done, and results revealed that he has an acute renal failure. According to the vet, there are many causes of it in dogs and cats, including bacterial or viral infection, toxins or poisons, cancer, crystal, or stone formation within the kidneys. C2594-Romeo also has a poor prognosis. Hospitalization with intensive fluid therapy is required, so. He will be hospitalized in the clinic under medical care. Thanks, Ms. Santos! R.I.P. our friend! <12-07-2021> 565-Jose (M), one of our eldest dogs, was recently diagnosed with liver cancer. There was no treatment. Despite all medical efforts, he did not survive, and his body will be delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–July Sad News (C1386-Tebbie)!

<09-07-2021> C1386-Tebbie (M), with an estimated age of four years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 18th January 2017, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that her neighbor passed away few days ago and left three cats, which no one could take care. There is a gap from the door of the flat from which the cats can come out and search for food. Ms. Peng and the neighbors set up a trap and Tebbie was caught. Tebbie was welcome to our Cat’s Paradise. Recently, got sick and went to a clinic. Despite all medical efforts, he did not survive and his body will be delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend! <08-07-2021> SQ0009-Viva, an adult squirrel, was rescued by Anima on 8th July 2021, after being found this morning by our rescue team during the feeding time in Vila São José, near Cheoc Van. Anima–July Sad News (C2503-Peewee)!

<07-07-2021> Our female cat, C2481-Voda gave birth to four kittens: C2503-Peewee, C2504-Munchkin, C2505-Nugget and C2506-Squirt, on 6th February 2021. C2503-Peewee was diagnosed with pneumonia on 25th March 2021 and had been hospitalized in a clinic for treatment. She got better and returned to Cats’ Paradise, but unfortunately symptoms reemerged and C2503-Peewee passed away today. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–July Sad News (H032 and H042)!

<07-07-2021> H031-Apple (F) and H032-Cherry (M), around three months old, H033-Blue Berry (F), H034-Cranberry (M), H035-Raspberry (F), H036-Lychee (F), H037-Plum (F), H038-Strawberry (F), all around one month old by the time, were rescued by Anima on 30th January 2020, from a youngster Kenji, who claimed to have 28 hamsters and had mixed the males and females together because he had no space to take care of them. All of them have been in our Dogs’ Shelter and recently, both H032-Cherry and H042-Durian got sick with an abcess. They went to a clinic and after several consultations and treament of the next days, H042-Durian passed away in Anima, and H032-Cherry in a clinic. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! <06-07-2021> H044-Kiwi (F), around two months old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 28th January 2020, from a youngster Kenji, who claimed to have 28 hamsters and had mixed the males and females together because he had no space to take care of them. H046-Coconut (F), H047-Grapes (F), H048-Morango (M), H049-Lime (M) and H050-Banana (M), born from H044-Kiwi on 4th February 2020. All of them have been in our Dogs’ Shelter. Anima–July Sad News (C2429-Pauline)!

<06-07-2021> C2429-Pauline (F), a cat around four years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 22nd November 2020, after a call from Mr. Cao reporting to have found a very weak and skinny cat on Pátio da Eterna Felicidade. An owner of a shop nearby claimed to have been feeding the cat for a few months but insisted that the cat was stray and did not plan to take her to a clinic for consultation. With the help of two volunteers, we managed to rescue Pauline and she was welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, C2429-Pauline got sick and she was sent to a clinic, but unfortunately she was very weak and today, the clinic informed that Pauline passed away. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–July Sad News (H061-Guara)!

<03-07-2021> H055-Star Fruit (M), H056-MangoSteen (M), H057-JuJuBe (M), H058-Rambutan (M), H059-Physalis (M), H060-Sapodilla (M), H061-Guara (M), H062-Golden Apple (M), all around 3 months old by the time, were rescued by Anima on 2nd June 2020, after received a message on Facebook by Mr. Hong, reporting that 8 hamsters were found abandoned in the park of Edf. Lok Kuan (Seac Pai Van) in a cage. He asked us to help. H055-Star Fruit, H056-MangoSteen, H057-JuJuBe, H058-Rambutan, H059-Physalis, H060-Sapodilla, H061-Guara, H062-Golden Apple were consulted in Anima. All of them stay in our Dogs’ Shelter. Today, H061-Guara passed away peacefully from old age. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets!
