Anima–June Sad News (1564-Laurel)!

<21-06-2021> 1564-Laurel (F), one of our old dogs, was found with ascites. She made a blood test and later an X-ray plus an ultrasound where it was visible two masses in her body. Intravenous fluids were needed as she suffers from renal disease. Laurel was under treatment, but unfortunately and despite all medical efforts, she did not survive. Her body will be delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–June Sad News (447-Iris)!

<15-06-2021> 447-Iris, one of our oldest dogs, has been living in our Dogs’ Shelter for a few years. Recently, she was coughing several times. After X-Ray exams and blood test results, she was initially diagnosed with heart murmur and pericardial effusions. However, after more medical exams and according with a vet, she has a tumor. 447-Iris have been hospitalized in the vet clinic for treatment. Unfortunately, despite all medical efforts, she did not survive. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–June Sad News (C2093-Spenlia)!

<13-06-2021> Our cat C2093-Spenlia has passed away today. Among several health issues, Spenlia had been suffering from severe pancreatitis and, despite all medical care, her health continued to deteriorate. Following veterinary medical advice and consent given by several Anima board members, Spenlia was euthanized in a clinic in an effort to shorten her agony. R.I.P. our friend! Anima–May Sad News (H044-Kiwi)!

<25-05-2021> H044-Kiwi (F), around two months old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 28th January 2020, from a youngster Kenji, who claimed to have 28 hamsters and had mixed the males and females together because he had no space to take care of them. She has been hospitalized in a vet clinic with a mouth abscess, for treatment. Unfortunately, despite all medical efforts, she did not survive, and her body will be delivered in IAM. Anima–May Sad News (C2557-Miya)!

<21-05-2021> Four female cats, C2557-Miya (F), C2558-Miriam (F), C2559-Yolanda (F) and C2560-Stacy (F), all around two years old, plus three male cats, C2561-Freddy (M) and C2562-Geoffrey (M), both around one year old and C2563-Ziggy (M) with two years old, were rescued by Anima on 25th March 2021, after a call from an I.A.M. staff reporting that there was no space for more street cats. They were all welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Anima and IAM, usually cooperate in these situations to save as more animals as possible. Recently, C2557-Miya had been suffering from several health issues like kidney failure and pancreatitis. She had been hospitalized for treatment, but unfortunately, she passed away today. Anima–May Sad News (C2382-Grayson)!

<19-05-2021> C2382-Grayson (M), around one year and seven months old and C2383-Lincoln (M), around one year old, were rescued by Anima on 24th August 2020, from Macau Kennel as they were out of space. Both cats were vaccinated and sterilized in IAM. C2382-Grayson and C2383-Lincoln were welcome in our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, Grayson had been suffering from several health issues due to kidney problems and FIP. Unfortunately, he passed away this evening. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets!
