Anima–April Sad News (C2573-Hero)!
<12-04-2021> C2573-Hero (M), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 12th April 2021, after a call from an individual volunteer, Ms. Fong, reporting that C2573-Hero was found in an abandoned house at Calçada da Igreja de São Lázaro and was not able to move at all. He was immediately sent to a clinic for consultation. X-ray results showed that he has a rupture inside his body and an internal hemorrhaging of fluids in his abdomen. Hero also lost his capacity of controlling other vital organs. It was also considered the hypothesis to euthanize him to end the pain. Unfortunately, despite all medical efforts, he did not survive, and his body will be collected to be delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Abandoning a pet should be a crime!
