Anima-November Sad News (C438-Mau Mau)!

<11-11-2020> C438-Mau Mau (M), a senior resident of our Cats’ Paradise, has been with us since 2013. His health condition worsened suddenly this week. He had been receiving treatment and was under fluids in his last days. Today, C438-MauMau passed away in our shelter. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-November Sad News (SPPC1431-Jaxson)!

<10-11-2020> SPPC1431-Jaxson (M), eight years and four months old by the time, was under our Special Protection Program and he was rescued by Anima through Michele on 24th February 2017, somewhere in Taipa when he was around five years old. SPPC1431-Jaxson was adopted by Mr. Froseth on 6th July 2020. Mr. Froseth intended to go back to Norway and he wanted to bring SPPC1431-Jaxson with him. Unfortunately, Jaxson became weak with kidney problems and died today. Please accept our condolences, Mr. Froseth! R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–November Rescue and Sad News (B178-Kirby)!

<10-11-2020> B178-Kirby, an adult dove, was rescued by Anima today, after being found by our rescue team on their way to deliver dog food to Ka Ho workshop. The dove was lying on the road with feathers scattered around surrounded by many dogs. B178-Kirby had a very weak breath and died quickly. His body will be later delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend! Anima-November Sad News (H034-Cranberry)!

<06-11-2020> H031-Apple (F) and H032-Cherry (M), around three months old, H033-Blue Berry (F), H034-Cranberry (M), H035-Raspberry (F), H036-Lychee (F), H037-Plum (F), H038-Strawberry (F), all around one month old, were rescued by ANIMA on the 30th January 2020, after received a message from Facebook on 27th January, by a 12 years old youngster, Keiji Kester Go Celestina telling that he can’t take care of his 28 hamsters anymore because they breed a lot and they are always fighting. He does not have enough money to buy food for them as well. He asked us to help. We collected them all and they were welcome in our Dog’s Shelter! Today, H034-Cranberry died in his cage and we do not know the cause of death, yet. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-November Sad News (151-Raji)!

<05-11-2020> 151-Raji (M), a senior dog of our shelter with around 15 years old, was suffering from a splenic tumour and kidney problems. A safe surgery would be, unfortunately, hard to accomplish at this point, due to his age and weak health condition. The chances of recovery after surgery are also very low. Following veterinary medical advice and consent given by several Anima board members, Raji was euthanized in a clinic, an effort to shorten his agony. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-November Sad News (C1625-Sunnie)!

<01-11-2020> C1625-Sunnie (F), around five years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on the 2nd July 2017, after a call from Ms. Cheong reporting to have rescued two cats in Guia Hill, when she heard there were some people poisoning the cats. Initially, she took care of them, for around a month, but she would later find out to suffer from allergies, by which she asked us if we could take them. Sunnie was then welcomed at our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, Sunnie had been suffering from kidney and liver problems. Her health worsened severely this last week and her condition was already irreversible. Following veterinary medical advice and consent given by several Anima board members, Sunnie was euthanized in an effort to shorten her agony. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-October Sad News (290-Peluda)!

<28-10-2020> 290-Peluda (F), around 12 years and 10 months old, was found recently not able to move on her own and started to have difficulty breathing. She was consulted by our vet and received Oxygen Therapy Treatment for help her to breath. 290-Peluda was sent to a clinic for further examination. Blood Tests were performed, and the result revealed that she has anaemia and infections, a low blood platelet and low blood sugar (Hypoglycaemia). According to the vet, 290-Peluda has also heart murmur (abnormal sound) and pus in the nasal cavities. An echocardiogram was performed, and the result indicated her heart have degeneration due to old age. 290-Peluda was hospitalized in the clinic, under IV Fluids and medical care. On the next days, her health condition indeed deteriorated fast. Following veterinary medical advice and consent given by several Anima board members, 290-Peluda was euthanized today, an effort to shorten her agony. R.I.P. our dear...

Anima-October Sad News (391-Mammy)!

<27-10-2020> 391-Mammy (F), almost 14 years old, was a senior resident of our shelter. Earlier this month, Mammy was found lying on the floor barking, unable to move, and taken to a clinic. She stayed hospitalized and a surgery was performed with success. On the following days, Mammy started eating on her own and was occasionally able to sit down. Unfortunately, we were informed by the clinic that she was found dead this morning. R.I.P. our old friend! Never Abandon your pets!
