Anima–May Sad News (C2470-Piper)!

<16-05-2024> The cats, C2468-Manisha (F), around five months old, C2469-Pontus (M), around two years old, C2470-Piper (M), around five months old, C2471-Philo (M), around two and a half years old, C2472-Maggie (F), around seven months old, C2473-Makana (F), around one year old, C2474-Manee (F), around one year old and C2475-Porter (M), around four years old, were rescued by Anima on 31st December 2020, after a call from IAM reporting that they were out of space for cats. They were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, C2470-Piper got sick and, besides all our efforts, he passed away today. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–April Sad News (C2923-Zandra)!

<02-05-2024> C2922-Zorion (M), around eight years old and C2923-Zandra (F), around two years old, were rescued by Anima on 12th March 2023, after a call from Ms. Zeng referring that her ex-neighbor with cancer and heart problems, had around 20 cats and he is not able to take care of them anymore. She asked us help. Anima worked together with AAPAM to help as many animals as possible and both were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise! Recently, C2923-Zandra got really sick with pancreatitis. She was sent to a clinic and diagnosed with a liver tumor, also. Besides all our efforts, C2923-Zandra passed away today. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–April Sad News (C2904-Skippy)!

<24-04-2024> C2902-Nutella (F) and C2903-Nestle (M), around six years old and C2904-Skippy (F), together with C2905-Kraft (M), both 10 years old, were rescued by Anima on 26th January 2024, from the kennel after a call from Ms. Zeng referring that her ex-neighbor, an old guy named Peter had cancer and heart problems, who lived alone and had around 20 cats at his home now with no conditions. She asked us help. Anima worked together with other associations to rescue all the cats, step by step, as long as we have space. Recently, C2904-Skippy got sick with nasal discharge and not willing to eat. She was sent to a clinic and has been hospitalized. Unfortunately, Anima was informed that Skippy passed away today due to her illness, a severe pancreatitis and advanced age. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–April Sad News (C2254-Yana)!

<24-04-2024> C2254-Yana (F), one of our senior cats, was found very skinny and with a very bad mouth breath, recently. Health exams showed that C2254-Yana has a severe anemia, pancreatitis, diarrhea due to an intestinal inflammation and needed to be hospitalized. Her health condition was not getting better and Yana passed away in the clinic. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–April Sad News (1181-Star)!

<22-04-2024> 1181-Star (F), one of our adult dogs, was found inactive, recently. She was immediately sent to clinic as an emergency. After medical exams and according with the vet, it was found a pleural effusion. Her health condition was not getting better and Star passed away in the clinic, due to a heart failure. Anima-Rescue and Deceased (C2933-WuWu)!

<22-04-2024> C2933-WuWu (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 22nd April 2024, after a call from Mr. Tam, reporting that he found a sick cat with weak heartbeat at Beco do Almirante Costa Cabral. <01-04-2024> C2222-London (M), one of our cats, lost weight and had yellowish gum with mouth discharge recently. Blood test was done and results showed health problems on the liver and also anemia. According to the vet, it was suspected that he had cholangiohepatitis. Even after medication and treatments, his health condition was not getting better.
