Anima–April Sad News (C1165-Cowie)!
<01-04-2020> C1165-Cowie (M), around two years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 17th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Cheong reporting that there was a cat always coming from the terrace of the building where she lives. Anima lent a container to Mr. Chui to catch the cat because he was living on 5th floor and used to feed the cats in terrace. Mr. Chui caught C1165-Cowie and he has been in Anima since then. Nowadays, C1165-Cowie was seen with yellowish eye discharge, lethargic and also dehydrated. He was sent to a Clinic for consultation. Exams and an X-ray showed an abnormality in his intestine suggesting that Cowie has an intussusception and surgery was needed. On 31st March 2020, Cowie was getting worse as his body had low temperature. He had twice seizures and LAC due to a possible liver failure, according to the vets. C1165-Cowie passed away today...
