Anima–April Sad News (SPPC1195-Dessa)!

<14-04-2018> SPPC1195-Dessa (F),  under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima through Michele on 18th May 2016 when she was around two years old, after a call from her reporting that Dessa needed to be de-sexed. SPPC1195-Dessa had returned to her place after de-sex surgery. On 10th March 2018 she was checked by our staff and was diagnosed liver problem. She was found getting skinny and anemic. Unfortunately SPPC1195-Dessa was found passed away this morning. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–April Sad News (SPP1935-Keelan)!

<13-04-2018> SPP1935-Keelan (F), was under our Special Protection Program since 14th October 2017 when she was around eight months old, was rescued by anima on 8th April 2018 after a call from Ms. Peng informing that SPP1935-Keelan was lethargic, paralyzed and with seizures. SPP1935-Keelan was sent to a clinic immediately. The result showed that she has Canine Distemper. SPP1935-Keelan stayed at the clinic for close observation and treatment. SPP1935-Keelan was suffering from seizures and the virus started attacking the nerve system. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision! R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–April Rescue and Sad News (C1876-Minnie)!

<09-04-2018> C1876-Minnie (F), around five months old, was rescued by anima after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that a kitten, C1876-Minnie was found dying in the Flora Garden. She asked us for help. C1876-Minnie was sent to a clinic immediately. She had low temperature and low blood pressure. Unfortunately, C1876-Minnie passed away during the examination in the clinic. Anima–April Sad News (177-Jollie)!

<07-04-2018> 177-Jollie (F), was rescued by Anima in 2006 and was around twelve years old now. She was one of the dogs that staying with us for long time! 177-Jollie had kidney problem and was rechecked by our staff recently. We found that her condition was getting worst. 177-Jollie was sent to a clinic. The report showed that a tumor was found near her rectum. She had kidney failure with severe anemic. There was no way to improve her condition. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Anima–April Sad News (C1875-Moon)!

<04-04-2018> C1875-Moon (F), was rescued by Anima on 3rd April 2018 when she was around two months old, after a call from Corpo de Policia de Segurança Pública reporting that a kitten C1875-Moon was found on street with severe injury. C1875-Moon was sent to a clinic immediately. The X-ray report showed that her left hind leg was fractured. Her leg was severe injured and need to be amputated. C1875-Moon had internal bleeding as the bladder was ruptured. She stayed at the clinic for close observation. Unfortunately we were informed that C1875-Moon passed away in the clinic. <02-04-2018> C1802-Levis (M), was rescued by Anima on 11th December 2017, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. C1802-Levis had stayed with us since that time. Recently he was found walking unsteadily and was not active. The blood test showed he had renal  and neurological problems. He had been under force feeding. C1802-Levis had multiple seizures and  was in low temperatures entering in suffer. <02-04-2018> SPP2015-Beanie (F),  under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 1st April 2018 when she was around seven years old, after a call from Mr. Chan reporting that a dog SPP2015-Beanie was hit by a car and was unable to move. He asked us for help. SPP2015-Beanie was sent to a clinic immediately. The report showed that her spleen was swollen. She had internal bleeding and was severe anemic. Anima–March Sad News (C1811-Dumpling)!

<30-03-2018> C1811-Dumpling (M), was rescued by Anima on 23th December 2017 when he was around two years old, after a call from Mr. Oscar of Anihelp, informing that they rescued a sick cat in Travessa da Palangana. C1811-Dumpling had stayed with us since that time. Recently we found C1811-Dumpling has a mouth ulcer and his face was swollen. He was sent to a clinic for consultation. The report showed that he had severe renal problems which causes the mouth ulcer. According to the vet, surgery could only be applied when he turned back to the normal temperature. However, his body temperature was very low and he could not stand on his own. He was in suffer! After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep.
