Anima–May Sad News (C1596-Anniko)!

<03-05-2018> C1596-Anniko (M), C1594-Amani (F) and C1595-Alkan (M), were rescued by Anima on 14th June 2017 when they were around two years old, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. They were all castrated and vaccinated by IACM. They were collected and staying with us since that time. Today C1596-Anniko was found sitting in front of C11 area that was abnormal for him as he was always scared of people. He was in severe hypothermia and his kidneys seem in pain. He was sent to a clinic immediately. The report showed that C1596-Anniko had feline distemper and upper respiratory infection, also a lot of discharge from his nose. Unfortunately C1596-Anniko passed away during the emergency treatment in the clinic. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–May Rescue and Sad News (B097-Android)!

<02-05-2018> B097-Android, (M), was rescued by Anima on the 2nd May 2018, after a call from Mr. Chong reporting that he saw a pigeon on the ground of Av. do Ouvidor Arriaga and it was not moving. He asked us for help. B097-Android was already passed away before our rescue team arrived. We collected B097-Android and delivered to IACM. Thanks Mr. Chong! R.I.P. my friend! Anima–May Sad News (SPPC1547-Ayana)!

<01-05-2018> SPPC1547-Ayana (F),  under our Special Protection Program (SPP)  was rescued by Anima on the 25th May 2017 when she was around two months old, through Michele, somewhere in Taipa. SPPC1547-Ayana was diagnosed ataxia since that time. The blood test showed she had coronavirus infection. Her situation was on and off. Unfortunately we found SPPC1547-Ayana passed away this morning. Anima–April Sad News (C105-Happy)!

<29-04-2018> C105-Happy (M), was born in Anima on the 21th May 2008 and was now around ten years old! C105-Happy was found getting skinny and apathetic on 27th April 2018. He was sent to a clinic and diagnosed renal failure. He had been staying at the clinic for medication. However we were informed by the clinic C105-Happy has refused to eat and has hypothermia. He could not stand on his own and started to have seizure. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision! R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! <27-04-2018> B094-Sammy was rescued by Anima on 27th April 2018, after a call from Mr. Ieong reporting that a bird, B094-Sammy, was found on the road near the Grand Lisboa Taxi Stand and was unable to fly. He asked us for help. B094-Sammy was sent to a clinic. B094-Sammy stayed at the clinic for force feeding as it was still young. Anima–April Sad News (SPPC1887-Enagic)!

<26-04-2018> SPPC1887-Enagic (M),  was under our Special Protection Program and was rescued by Anima on 24th April 2018 when he was around ten months old, through Michele somewhere in Taipa. SPPC1887-Enagic had upper respiratory infection and gingivitis at that time. He was returned to the former place after medication. Today SPPC1887-Enagic was found in low temperature and dehydrated. During the check-up, SPPC1887-Enagic started to have seizure and difficulty in breathing. Unfortunately SPPC1887-Enagic passed away. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Anima–April Sad News (150-Taiji)!

<24-04-2018> 150-Taiji was around 14 years old now and had been staying with us for a long time! 150-Taiji (F) was rescued by Anima on 1st January 2004 and was staying at our shelter since that time. At the beginning of April 2018, we found 150-Taiji had watery diarrhea. The blood test showed she had a renal problem and her belly started to get bigger. <23-04-2018> C990-Teo (M), was rescued by Anima on 28th June 2017 when he was around four months old, after a call from Ms. Koo and Ms. Lee reporting that they were afraid the cat would be poisoned. C990-Teo had staying with us since that time. On 21st April 2018, the blood test of C990-Teo showed he had infection, anemia and renal problem. After some days, we found his kidney became very large. He was very weak and could not stand by himself. He began to enter in suffer! After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep. <18-04-2018> SPPC976-Joey (F),  under our Special Protection Program since 18th June 2015, was rescued by Anima on 17th March 2016 when she was around three years old, through Michele, somewhere in Taipa. On 10th March 2018 we found SPPC976-Joey had gingivitis, anemia and upper respiratory infection. SPPC976-Joey was sent to a clinic for second opinion. She was under treatment and had another blood test on 12th April 2018. The result showed that she still had infection, anemia and renal problem. Her condition was getting worst dramatically. SPC976-Joey could not even stand and refuses to eat. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep.
