Anima–March Sad News (SPP2000, SPP2002)!

<10-03-2018> The mother dog, SPP1999-Bea (F), around three years old, with the six puppies, SPP2000-Babak (M), SPP2001-Baako (F), SPP2002-Benita (F), SPP2003-Betsy (F), SPP2004-Bettina (F) and SPP2005-Borbala (F), all around 1.5 months old , were under our Special Protection Program and were rescued by Anima on 24th February 2018 after a call from Mr. Wong reporting that the mother dog SPP1999-Bea gave birth to six puppies one month ago. Mr. Wong was responsible for them in that area. However he found the puppies became lethargic, tired and not eating, especially SPP2005-Borbala was in high fever, with nasal and ocular discharge and with seizure as well. He asked us for help. All of them were sent to a clinic immediately. The result of the Canine Distemper test of the five puppies were positive. The five puppies SPP2000-Babak (M), SPP2001-Baako (F), SPP2002-Benita (F), SPP2003-Betsy (F) and SPP2004-Bettina (F) stayed at the clinic for close observation...

Anima–March Sad News (C826-Bonito)!

<09-03-2018> C826-Bonito (M), was rescued by Anima on 26th October 2014 when he was around one year old, after a call from Mrs. King saying that she caught a cat C826-Bonito in Macau. She asked us for help. C826-Bonito was checked and spayed, then he stayed with us since that time. Recently C826-Bonito was found with a black tongue. He became weak and had low temperature. C826-Bonito was sent to a clinic. AIt was caused by a toxin inside his body that could not be filtered by kidneys. C826-Bonito had also a renal failure. The blood vessels of C826-Bonito were all damaged due to long term under dripping. He was suffering due to organ failure. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision! R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help...

Anima–March Sad News (885-Nicas)!

<09-03-2018> 885-Nicas (F), was rescued by Anima on 18th September 2012 at IACM, with all her family, around 25 dogs! She had stayed with us since that time. On 3rd January 2018 it was found a swelling near her anus and she was sent to a clinic for second opinion. It was found a dribble of blood during the observation. The X-ray showed she had a large bladder stone. A surgery was performed on 7th January and she returned to us afterwards. However, the swelling part near her anus was getting bigger. The cancer had already spread to her brain and spine. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision! R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–March Sad News (B092-Sunshine)!

<08-03-2018> B092-Sunshine was rescued by Anima on 6th  March 2018, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that a pigeon B092-Sunshine was found near the sidewalk of Rua Um do Bairro Iao Hon and was unable to fly. He asked us for help. B092-Sunshine was sent to a clinic. B092-Sunshine was very weak and need to stay at the clinic for force feeding. Unfortunately we were informed that B092-Sunshine passed away  this afternoon. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Anima–March Sad News (SPP1950-Yellow)!

<06-03-2018> SPP1950-Yellow (M), under our Special Protection Program since 17th December 2017, was rescued by Anima on 22nd February 2018 when he was  around one year and three months old, after a call from Mr. Ho reporting that SPP1950-Yellow was found unable to move and  was crying in pain. He asked us for help. According to Mr. Ho, he suspected that SPP1950-Yellow was caught for stealing food and was beaten by somebody. SPP1950-Yellow was sent to a clinic immediately. The X-ray showed that he has no bone fracture. He was suspected having neurologic problem. SPP1950-Yellow stayed at the clinic for dripping and observation. He returned and stayed at our shelter from 24th February for observation. Today we found SPP1950-Yellow not eating well, having difficulty in breathing and  in high fever. Anima–March Sad News (SPP1550-Finbar)!

<04-03-2018> SPP1550-Finbar  (M), was under our Special Protection Program and was rescued by Anima on 18th October 2015, after a call from Mr. Alex reporting that SPP1550-Finbar had an eye infection and was limping. SPP1550-Finbar was released to his former place on 19th October 2015 after applying some medication. Anima–March Sad News (SPPC1179-Dabria)!

<03-03-2018> SPPC1179-Dabria (F), on the time around one year old, was rescued by Anima through Michele, somewhere in Taipa, and was under our Special Protection Program since 29th April 2016.  Recently we found her refusing to eat, so we applied to her force feeding since that time. On 22nd February 2018, SPPC1179-Dabria was found dehydrated. The blood test showed she has renal failure and she became under medication . We sent her to a second vet for opinion. The result showed the same indication, she had severe renal failure. There was very low chance for her to recover and she began to enter in suffer. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Anima–March Sad News (SPP2007, SPP2008)!

 <03-03-2018> SPP2006-Jetta (F), around three years old at that time, SPP2007-Juno (M), around two years old and SPP2008-Junius (M), around two years old, were under our Special Protection Program and were rescued by Anima on 2nd March 2018 during the daily feeding in Coloane. SPP2007-Juno and SPP2008-Junius were found with respiratory illness and head trembling. They were sent to a clinic immediately and they had Canine Distemper. SPP2007-Juno and SPP2008-Junius stayed at the clinic for treatment. On 3rd March 2018 we were informed by the clinic that the virus of SPP2008-Junius had affected his brain and nerve systems. He was suffering from seizure and paralysis. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision! Unfortunately, SPP2007-Juno passed away due to pneumonia on the same day. R.I.P....
