Anima–March Rescue and Sad News (SPP2013-Winnie)!

<28-03-2018> SPP2013-Winnie (F),  under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 24th March 2018 when she was around two years old, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that SPP2013-Winnie was sick, lost weight and walked unsteady. SPP2013-Winnie was sent to a clinic and she diagnosed Canine Distemper. She was returned to her former place after medication. Today we were informed by Mr. Ho saying that SPP2013-Winnie was almost dying at the site. She was sent to a clinic immediately. According to the vet, a lot of maggots were found in her mouth  and she was already in suffer and nothing could be done. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Anima–March Sad News (SPP2003-Betsy)!

<25-03-2018> The mother dog, SPP1999-Bea (F), around three years old at that time, with the six puppies, SPP2000-Babak (M), SPP2001-Baako (F), SPP2002-Benita (F), SPP2003-Betsy (F), SPP2004-Bettina (F) and SPP2005-Borbala (F), all around 1.5 months old at that time , were under our Special Protection Program and were rescued by Anima on 24th February 2018 after a call from Mr. Wong reporting that the mother dog SPP1999-Bea gave birth to six puppies. Mr. Wong was responsible for them in that area. He noted that the puppies became lethargic, tired and not eating, All of them were sent to a clinic immediately. SPP2005-Borbala has passed away when we arrived at the clinic. The result of the Canine Distemper test of the five puppies were positive. Anima–March Sad News (C1480-Mukki)!

<23-03-2018> C1480-Mukki (F), was rescued by Anima when she was around three years old, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for cats. C1480-Mukki has stayed with us since that time. On 13th January 2018 C1480-Mukki was sent to a blood test. The result showed that she had renal problems and blood infection. She became weak and in low temperature. We put her with warm bags and dripping. Unfortunately C1480-Mukki had seizure and passed away. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Anima–March Sad News (C496-Goa)!

<23-03-2018> C496-Goa (F), was rescued by Anima on 9th May 2013 at Escola Primária Luso Chinesa do Bairro Norte, together with a mother cat and three kittens. C496-Goa had stayed with us since that time. This morning C496-Goa was found in very low temperature, weak and stiff. We helped her with warm bags, however, she could not make it. R.I.P. my friend! Anima–March Sad News (C681-Zeca II)!

<22-03-2018> C681-Zeca II (M), was rescued by Anima on the 21st March 2014 when he was around six months old, near the University of Macau. He had been staying with us since that time. On 1st March 2018 he had seizure and was sent to a clinic. The blood test showed he had renal and pancreatitis problems. He also had cat flu, jaundice and  severe anemia. He had been under medication and dripping since that time. However his condition was on and off. Unfortunately, we found him dead this morning. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Anima–March Sad News (H025-Bibbles)!

<21-03-2018> H025-Bibbles (F) and H024-Biscuit (M), were rescued by Anima on 15th February 2018 when they were around four months old, after a call from Mr. Chan reporting that there were two hamsters being abandoned in the street of Rua Central da Toi San. H024-Biscuit and H025-Bibbles were collected by us and stayed at our shelter since that time. This morning, H025-Bibbles was found dead. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Anima–March Rescue and Sad News (2012-Mia)!

<17-03-2018> 2012-Mia (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 17th March 2018 during our daily feeding and was already dead. Anima–March Sad News (C1755-Farah)!

<12-03-2018> C1755-Farah (F), together with C1751-Faas (M), C1752-Faddy (M), C1753-Fabienne (F), C1754-Fairfax (M), C1756-Fedora (F), C1757-Feri (M), C1758-Femke (F) and C1759-Feray (F), were rescued by Anima on 10th November 2017, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. They were all vaccinated by IACM. C1755-Farah had fever, nasal and ocular discharge problems at that time. On 10th March 2018 we sent her to a vet for second opinion. C1755-Farah was in low temperature and dehydrated. The blood test showed she had renal failure. C1755-Farah also had minor jaundice, hemolysis and cat flu. She was apathetic, refused to eat and was some blood was coming out from the gums. She started having seizure and became unconscious. Her condition became worse and she entered in suffer. Anima–March Sad News (SPP2000, SPP2002)!

<10-03-2018> The mother dog, SPP1999-Bea (F), around three years old, with the six puppies, SPP2000-Babak (M), SPP2001-Baako (F), SPP2002-Benita (F), SPP2003-Betsy (F), SPP2004-Bettina (F) and SPP2005-Borbala (F), all around 1.5 months old , were under our Special Protection Program and were rescued by Anima on 24th February 2018 after a call from Mr. Wong reporting that the mother dog SPP1999-Bea gave birth to six puppies one month ago. Anima–March Sad News (C826-Bonito)!

<09-03-2018> C826-Bonito (M), was rescued by Anima on 26th October 2014 when he was around one year old, after a call from Mrs. King saying that she caught a cat C826-Bonito in Macau. She asked us for help. C826-Bonito was checked and spayed, then he stayed with us since that time. Recently C826-Bonito was found with a black tongue. He became weak and had low temperature. C826-Bonito was sent to a clinic. AIt was caused by a toxin inside his body that could not be filtered by kidneys. C826-Bonito had also a renal failure. The blood vessels of C826-Bonito were all damaged due to long term under dripping. He was suffering due to organ failure. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep.
