Anima–March Sad News (SPP1940-Jagna)!

<02-03-2018> SPP1939-Jahid (M), SPP1940-Jagna (F) and SPP1941-Jaleh (F),   were under our Special Protection Program (SPP) and were rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Choi on 22nd November 2017  when they were all around seven months old. On 1st February 2018 we found a dead body of a black dog that was crashed by a heavy truck. We suspected the dog was SPP1941-Jaleh as he had been missing almost one month. Today we were informed by Mr. Choi that he found another dead body of a dog, SPP1940-Jagna, near the site. The body was already decomposed. Mr. Choi suspected that SPP1940-Jagna died of illness. Anima–March Rescue and Sad News (SPP2006-SPP2008)!

<02-03-2018> SPP2006-Jetta (F), around three years old, SPP2007-Juno (M), around two years old and SPP2008-Junius (M), around two years old, under our Special Protection Program now, were rescued by Anima on 2nd March 2018 during the daily feeding in Coloane. SPP2007-Juno and SPP2008-Junius were found with respiratory illness and head trembling. They were sent to a clinic immediately and they were Canine Distemper positive. SPP2007-Juno and SPP2008-Junius stayed at the clinic for treatment. We found the dead body of SPP2006-Jetta in the site as well. Her body was already stiffed and was suspected dead of Canine Distemper. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–March Sad News (C1836-Yasin)!

<01-03-2018> C1835-Yaffa (F) and C1836-Yasin (M), were rescued by Anima on 31st January 2018 when both were around four months old, after a call from Mr. Lei reporting that two kittens were found sitting in front of his office entrance and they were not moving. C1835-Yaffa and C1836-Yasin were checked in our clinic and stayed at our Cats’ Paradise since that time. On 24th February 2018 C1836-Yasin had fever and upper respiratory infection. He was under dripping and medication. Yesterday C1836-Yasin was found not eating and drooling. Unfortunately we found him passed away this morning. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Anima–March Sad News (1991-Bao)!

<01-03-2018> 1991-Bao (F) and 1992-Bernie (F), at that time around 1.5 months old, were rescued by our rescue team on 1st February 2018 during their daily feeding somewhere in Coloane. One of the puppies, 1992-Bernie had seizure and suspected to have canine distemper, so we collected both of them. 1991-Bao and 1992-Bernie were sent to a clinic for checking. Both of them had Canine Distemper. As 1992-Bernie had seizure and was suffering in pain, there was nothing to do to improve her situation. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. On 14th February 2018, 1991-Bao returned to our shelter and stayed in the vet area for observation. 1991-Bao was found lethargic, anorexic, with upper respiratory infection and nervous problems. Anima–February Sad News (C1733-Asia)!

<28-02-2018> The mother cat C1732-Africa (F), around two years old at that time, together with her five kittens, C1733-Asia (F), C1734-Alta (F), C1735-Amata (F), C1736-Amicus (M) and C1737-Antal (M), all around three months old at that time, were rescued by Anima on 24th October 2017. All of them were brought to Cats’ Paradise by Ms. Ofélia and Ms. Siedy. According to Ms. Ofélia the cats were found in Choc Van. That was the second time the mother cat C1732-Africa gave birth to six kittens. They managed to give away one kitten for adoption and they asked our help for the rest. All of the cats were checked by our vet and dewormed. They stayed at the Cats’ Paradise since that time. On 22nd February 2018 C1733-Asia was found with upper respiratory infection and fever. Anima–February Sad News (B090-Bravo)!

<26-02-2018> B090-Bravo was rescued by Anima on 23rd February 2018, after a call from Ms. Michele reporting that a Zebra dove B090-Bravo was found in Taipa and was unable to fly. She asked us for help. B090-Bravo was sent to a clinic. Unfortunately we were informed by the clinic that B090-Bravo  passed away at night. R.I.P. my friend!Please help us to help them! Anima–February Sad News (C1854-Sole)!

<25-02-2018> C1850-Clancy (F), was rescued by Anima on 15th February 2018 when was around two years old, after a call from Mr. Lou reporting that there was a cat hiding on the roof of his building. C1850-Clancy was injured and  pregnant at that time. On 25th February 2018 we found that C1850-Clancy has been laboring for two days but still no signs of being in pain. We only found some tiny drops of blood on the towels. C1850-Clancy was sent to a clinic for consultation. C1850-Clancy was having miscarriage and need to have surgery immediately to take out the fetus. The fetus C1854-Sole was taken out from the uterus of C1850-Clancy. C1854-Sole was deformed and was already dead when being taken out. The condition of C1850-Clancy was stable, but her surgical wound was big and need to stay at the clinic for close observation. February Rescue and Sad News (SPP1999-SPP2005)!

<24-02-2018> The mother dog, SPP1999-Bea (F), around three years old, with the six puppies, SPP2000-Babak (M), SPP2001-Baako (F), SPP2002-Benita (F), SPP2003-Betsy (F), SPP2004-Bettina (F) and SPP2005-Borbala (F), all around 1.5 months old , are under our Special Protection Program now and were rescued by Anima on 24th February 2018 after a call from Mr. Wong reporting that the mother dog SPP1999-Bea gave birth to six puppies one month ago. Mr. Wong is responsible for them in that area. However he found the puppies became lethargic, tired and not eating, especially SPP2005-Borbala was in high fever, nasal and ocular discharge and with seizure as well. He asked us for help. All of them were sent to a clinic immediately. SPP2005-Borbala passed away when we arrived  the clinic. Anima–February Sad News (C1774-Goddess)!

<23-02-2018> C1774-Goddess (F), was rescued by Anima on 17th November 2017 when was seven months old, after a call from Ms. Michele reporting that she found a cat on the street near Nam San. The cat was half covered in glue and needed medical support. She brought C1774-Goddess to us. C1774-Goddess was checked by our vet and  the gluewas removed  from the body and stayed at our Cats Paradise. On 14th February 2018 C1774-Goddess had nasal and ocular discharge. She was getting skinny, dehydrated and in low temperature. She was sent to a clinic for consultation. The blood test showed she had severe renal problem, pancreatitis and low red blood cells. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Anima–February Sad News (SPPC1838-Laurel)!

<22-02-2018> SPPC1838-Laurel (F) and SPPC1837-Sara (F), under our Special Protection Program, were rescued by Anima on 5th February 2018 through Michele when both were around seven months old. They were found sick, vomiting and not eating at that time. SPPC1837-Sara was anemic with renal problem and infection. SPPC1838-Laurel had ocular and nasal discharge. Both had stayed at Cat Paradise for treatment since then. SPPC1838-Laurel was recently rechecked by our vet. She was having diarrhea, nasal discharge and fever. She was put under fluid dripping. However her situation was on and off and she seemed in good spirit in the past few days. Unfortunately we found SPPC-Laurel passed away this morning. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them!
