Anima–March Sad News (SPP1550-Finbar)!

<04-03-2018> SPP1550-Finbar  (M), was under our Special Protection Program and was rescued by Anima on 18th October 2015, after a call from Mr. Alex reporting that SPP1550-Finbar had an eye infection and was limping. SPP1550-Finbar was released to his former place on 19th October 2015 after applying some medication. Today we were informed that SPP1550-Finbar  passed away one year ago according to the worker in that area. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–March Sad News (SPPC1179-Dabria)!

<03-03-2018> SPPC1179-Dabria (F), on the time around one year old, was rescued by Anima through Michele, somewhere in Taipa, and was under our Special Protection Program since 29th April 2016.  Recently we found her refusing to eat, so we applied to her force feeding since that time. On 22nd February 2018, SPPC1179-Dabria was found dehydrated. The blood test showed she has renal failure and she became under medication . We sent her to a second vet for opinion. The result showed the same indication, she had severe renal failure. There was very low chance for her to recover and she began to enter in suffer. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Anima–March Sad News (SPP2007, SPP2008)!

 <03-03-2018> SPP2006-Jetta (F), around three years old at that time, SPP2007-Juno (M), around two years old and SPP2008-Junius (M), around two years old, were under our Special Protection Program and were rescued by Anima on 2nd March 2018 during the daily feeding in Coloane. SPP2007-Juno and SPP2008-Junius were found with respiratory illness and head trembling. They were sent to a clinic immediately and they had Canine Distemper. SPP2007-Juno and SPP2008-Junius stayed at the clinic for treatment. On 3rd March 2018 we were informed by the clinic that the virus of SPP2008-Junius had affected his brain and nerve systems. He was suffering from seizure and paralysis. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision! Unfortunately, SPP2007-Juno passed away due to pneumonia on the same day. R.I.P....

Anima–March Sad News (SPP2001-Baako)!

<03-03-2018> The mother dog, SPP1999-Bea (F), around three years old, with the six puppies, SPP2000-Babak (M), SPP2001-Baako (F), SPP2002-Benita (F), SPP2003-Betsy (F), SPP2004-Bettina (F) and SPP2005-Borbala (F), all around 1.5 months old , were under our Special Protection Program and were rescued by Anima on 24th February 2018 after a call from Mr. Wong reporting that the mother dog SPP1999-Bea gave birth to six puppies one month ago. Mr. Wong was responsible for them in that area. He found the puppies became lethargic, tired and not eating, especially SPP2005-Borbala was in high fever, with nasal and ocular discharge and with seizure as well. He asked us for help. All of them were sent to a clinic immediately. The result of the Canine Distemper test of the five puppies were positive. Anima–March Rescue and Sad News (T011-Nemo)!

<03-03-2018> T011-Nemo was rescued by Anima on 3rd March 2018, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that a turtle T011-Nemo was found on the road at Rua da Ribeira do Patane with the shell broken. She asked us for help. T011-Nemo was sent to a clinic immediately. Unfortunately T011-Nemo  passed away after a few hours at the clinic. The death may be caused by severe shell fracture. Anima–March Rescue and Sad News (SPP1793-Yaron)!

<03-03-2018> SPP1793-Yaron (M), SPP1794-Yeats (M), SPP1795-Yonca (F) and SPP1796-Yiva (F),  were under our Special Protection Program since 3rd September 2016, when they were all  around two months old . They were the puppies of SPP1761-Senga. They lived in a site at Coloane and Mr. Cheong is responsible for them in that area. Today we were informed that the dead body of SPP1793-Yaron was found in the site. We suspected SPP1793-Yaron died from Canine Distemper. R.I.P. my friend!Please help us to help them! Anima–March Sad News (SPP1940-Jagna)!

<02-03-2018> SPP1939-Jahid (M), SPP1940-Jagna (F) and SPP1941-Jaleh (F),   were under our Special Protection Program (SPP) and were rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Choi on 22nd November 2017  when they were all around seven months old. On 1st February 2018 we found a dead body of a black dog that was crashed by a heavy truck. We suspected the dog was SPP1941-Jaleh as he had been missing almost one month. Today we were informed by Mr. Choi that he found another dead body of a dog, SPP1940-Jagna, near the site. The body was already decomposed. Mr. Choi suspected that SPP1940-Jagna died of illness. Anima–March Rescue and Sad News (SPP2006-SPP2008)!

<02-03-2018> SPP2006-Jetta (F), around three years old, SPP2007-Juno (M), around two years old and SPP2008-Junius (M), around two years old, under our Special Protection Program now, were rescued by Anima on 2nd March 2018 during the daily feeding in Coloane. SPP2007-Juno and SPP2008-Junius were found with respiratory illness and head trembling. They were sent to a clinic immediately and they were Canine Distemper positive. SPP2007-Juno and SPP2008-Junius stayed at the clinic for treatment. We found the dead body of SPP2006-Jetta in the site as well. Anima–March Sad News (C1836-Yasin)!

<01-03-2018> C1835-Yaffa (F) and C1836-Yasin (M), were rescued by Anima on 31st January 2018 when both were around four months old, after a call from Mr. Lei reporting that two kittens were found sitting in front of his office entrance and they were not moving. C1835-Yaffa and C1836-Yasin were checked in our clinic and stayed at our Cats’ Paradise since that time. On 24th February 2018 C1836-Yasin had fever and upper respiratory infection. He was under dripping and medication. Yesterday C1836-Yasin was found not eating and drooling. Unfortunately we found him passed away this morning. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Anima–March Sad News (1991-Bao)!

<01-03-2018> 1991-Bao (F) and 1992-Bernie (F), at that time around 1.5 months old, were rescued by our rescue team on 1st February 2018 during their daily feeding somewhere in Coloane. One of the puppies, 1992-Bernie had seizure and suspected to have canine distemper, so we collected both of them. 1991-Bao and 1992-Bernie were sent to a clinic for checking. Both of them had Canine Distemper. As 1992-Bernie had seizure and was suffering in pain, there was nothing to do to improve her situation. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. On 14th February 2018, 1991-Bao returned to our shelter and stayed in the vet area for observation. 1991-Bao was found lethargic, anorexic, with upper respiratory infection and nervous problems. She was sent again to the clinic and the result of X ray showed she had pneumonia. Her condition was getting...
