Anima–January Sad News (C1563-Daisy)!

<22-01-2018> C1563-Daisy (F) and C1564-Dan (M), were rescued by Anima on 29th May 2017, when they were around 10 months old and around two years old, respectively, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. They were neutered and vaccinated by IACM. They were delivered to Anima Cats’ Paradise and they stayed in our free area. C1563-Daisy was found unable to move and lying on the ground. She was put under dripping immediately. Blood test showed that she had anemia, pancreatitis, kidney and liver problem. She was very weak, dehydrated and has difficult to breathe. Unfortunately she couldn’t make it. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–January Sad News (C1808-Sliver)!

<22-01-2018> C1805-Sila (F), C1806-Silja (F), C1807-Suki (F) and C1808-Sliver (M), were rescued by Anima on 14th December 2017, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. They were all desexed by IACM and delivered to our Cats' Paradise. He started getting sick since 15th January and had been under treatment. C1808-Sliver was put under dripping yesterday as he refused to eat. Unfortunately he couldn’t make it, and the cause of death is upper respiratory infection. R.I.P. my friend! <20-01-2018> C1823-Julita (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima already dead on 20th January 2018, after a call from our staff reporting that a cat body was found outside the store in Rua da Praia do Manduco. Anima–January Sad News (C1815-Lenna)!

<16-01-2018> C1815-Lenna (F), was rescued by Anima on 30th December 2017, when she was around three months old, after a call from Mr. Cheng reporting that a kitten was found dying in his building of Edificio San Mei On. C1815-Lenna was very weak with head tilt, drooling, and both eyes had an infection. She was sent to a clinic immediately. She needed to stay in the clinic overnight for observation. According to the clinic, she was diagnosed with cat flu, herpes virus and later infected with parvovirus. We were informed by the clinic that there was nothing much they could do for C1815-Lenna. As she began to enter in suffer, after discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Anima–January Sad News (910-Lara)!

<16-01-2018> 910-Lara (F), around six years old now, with her mother 911-Lucy, two sibling, 908-Kimberly and 909-Lala, were rescued by Anima on 22nd September 2012, after a call from Ms. Anita reporting that some dogs needed our help. 908-Kimberly and 909-Lala passed away on October 2012 due to tick fever. 910-Lara and 911-Lucy stayed with us since that day. 910-Lara had been getting skinny no matter how much she ate. She was diagnosed having diabetes for over half a year. She was sent to several clinic for treatment but her condition was still on and off. 910-Lara had been fighting so long for spending more time with us. She was found having bloody diarrhea, difficulty to breathe and not able to move today. She also had seizures when she was sent to the clinic. We all know that she was very tired to walk that far. Anima–January Rescue and Sad News (1972-1979)!

<15-01-2018> The mother, 1972-Zanna (F), around two years old, with the puppies, 1973-Zandra (F), 1974-Zalla (F), 1975-Zavia (F), 1976-Zena (F), 1977-Zavier (M), 1978-Zeno (M) and 1979-Zeki (M), all around two days old, were rescued by Anima on 15th January 2018, after a call from Ms. Kuok reporting that a mother dog gave birth to seven puppies. 1975-Zavia and 1976-Zena passed away before we arrived. Anima–January Sad News (C1231-Mateo)!

<12-01-2018> The siblings, C1230-Mat and C1231-Mateo (M), were rescued by Anima on 8th July 2016 when they were around one year old, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that these cats were living in the car park of Nam Sun Garden Building. C1231-Mateo stayed with us since that day. He was getting sick one week ago. Blood test showed that he had renal problems. He had been under medication and dripping. Anima– Rescue and Sad News (1971-Siu Wong Chai)!

<12-01-2018> 1971-Siu Wong Chai (M), around six months old, was rescued by Anima already dead on 12th January 2018, after a call from Ms. Lo reporting that she used to feed stray dogs. There were one mother, one father and five puppies living over that area. One of the puppies was found dead few days ago due to the cold weather. The father, 1971-Siu Wong Chai, disappeared for two days. Our rescue team went to the place with Ms. Lo to check the puppies and found the body of 1971-Siu Wong Chai. Anima–January Rescue and Sad News (SPP1970-Chai Chai)!

<12-01-2018> SPP1970-Chai Chai (M), around eight months old, was under our special protection program, when was rescued by Anima on 12th January 2018, after a call from Ms. Kuok reporting that she used to feed stray dogs in a site and one of them ate rat poison. SPP1970-Chai Chai was weak and had difficulty to breathe. He was sent to a clinic immediately. Blood test showed that SPP1970-Chai Chai had anemia and he had blood in the chest. Anima–January Sad News (117-Darkie)!

<11-01-2018> 117-Darkie (F), around 16 years old now, passed away this morning. 117-Darkie had an accident on 26th November 2017 as her tail got severe injured when she was near another pen. She was sent to a clinic for surgery to remove the injured part and stayed in the clinic for observation. She recovered and removed the stitches on 14th December. But she was found walking in circles, shaking and losing balance during her play time on 26th December. 117-Darkie was sent to another clinic for second opinion as she refused to eat and had low temperature. Unfortunately she couldn’t make it. 117-Darkie was one of our eldest dogs that had stayed with us for so long. She was very friendly and always asking people to pet her. We will miss you!
