Anima-October Sad News (C1459-Katie)!

<16-10-2017> C1459-Katie (F), around two years old at that time, was rescued by Anima on 19th March 2017, after a message in facebook from Ms. Ngai, informing that Katie was found in Horta da Mitra and she was very skinny. C1459-Katie was checked by our vet, de-wormed and then delivered to Cats´ Paradise. Recently she was found getting slimmer but with bigger belly. She was sent to a clinic and the report showed that she has FIP and cannot walk properly. Her wobble walking was due to the pain from her belly. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision! R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima-October Sad News (782-Mami Mui)!

<15-10-2017> 782-Mami Mui (F), around two years old at that time, was rescued by Anima on the 13th January 2012 after a call from Ms. Gina. She has been staying with us since that time. On 13th October 2017 she was found not active and needed to be under dripping. She was sent to a clinic and the report showed she has renal failure. Anima-October Sad News (C1586-Issac)!

<15-10-2017> C1588-Isaac (M), around one week old at that time, was rescued by Anima on the 9th June 2017, after a call from Mr. Fok reporting that Isaac was found in Rua de São Tiago da Barra. Our assistant Ms. Peng has been fostering C1588-Issac since that time. On 10th October 2017 he was found with bloated belly and less active. He was sent to a clinic and the report showed he has FIP. Anima-October Sad News (C1230-Mat)!

<12-10-2017> C1230-Mat (M), around one year old at that time, was rescued by Anima on 8th July 2016, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that a cat was living in the car park of Nam Sun Garden Building. He was checked by our vet and stayed with us. On 10th October he was found with bloated belly and vomited some yellowish liquid. He was sent to a clinic immediately. The ultrasound showed that his abdomen was full of ascites and suspected FIP. This morning he was found dehydrated, jaundice and with difficulty in breathing. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep. Anima-October Sad News (C1651-Foxy)!

<08-10-2017> C1650-Felix (M) and C1651-Foxy (F), both around one month old at that time, were rescued by Anima on 20th July 2017, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that two kittens were found in the road of Portas do Cerco. C1650-Felix and C1651-Foxy were checked by our vet and dewormed. They have been staying at our Cat's Paradise since then. C1651-Foxy was found getting skinny and has not grown much recently. Anima-October Sad News (SPPC1416-Barry)!

<06-10-2017> SPPC1416-Barry (M), around three months old at that time, was under our Special Protection Program and was rescued by Anima on 5th February 2017, after a call from Michele, reporting that her friend, Mr. Daniel, found a kitten near Ponte 16 the night before. Barry was checked by our vet and dewormed. He had diarrhea and upper respiratory tract infection at that time. On 4th April 2017 he was found with a swollen eye, conjunctivitis and corneal ulceration. He has no socket in his joints and shoulder and as so he had difficulty in walking. He also had a poor bone growing in his front leg. He has been taking pain killer for a very long time and he entered in suffer. Anima-October Sad News (B082-Vite)!

<06-10-2017> B082-Vite was rescued by Anima on 4th October 2017, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that she found an injured bird in Area Preta. She put it in a box and tried to feed it but the bird refused to eat. She asked us for help and we sent it to a clinic. Vite was very weak, the feather has some glue on it and the right leg was injured. It stayed at the clinic for observation. Unfortunately, it passed away last night. R.I.P. my friend! Anima-October Sad News (SPPC1160-Velvet)!

<06-10-2017> SPPC1160-Velvet (F), around two years old at that time, was under our Special Protection Program from 14th April 2016. She was brought to Anima through Michele on 28th June 2016, reporting that Velvet was found severely dehydrated and apathic. She has Gingivitis and her gums were inflamed. Her right front limb was limping as well at that time. Velvet has been staying with us for treatment since then. Recently she was diagnosed FIP and getting skinny and dehydrated. Her condition was getting worse and entered in suffer. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Anima-October Sad News (SPPC1119-Mother Cat)!

<04-10-2017> SPPC1119-Mother Cat (F), around seven years old at that time, was under our Special Protection Program and was rescued by Anima on 10th February 2016, after a call from Michele reporting that SPPC1119-Mother Cat gave birth a few months ago and she had to be spayed and vaccinated. On 16th September 2017 she was found jaundice and refused to eat. The blood test showed she had blood parasites and FIP. She had to be under dripping, force feeding and started entering in suffer. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleeping.
