Anima-September Sad News (1707-Moppy)!

<21-09-2017> 1707-Moppy (F), around seven years old at that time, was rescued by Anima on 18th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina, informing that 1707-Moppy was found near Jockey Club. 1707-Moppy was not moving well and was soaked under the rain. We collected her and no microchip was found on her. She was recovered and stayed with us. Today she was found with difficulty in breathing and the x-ray showed there was a mass at the trachea. She also had mild anemia and heart problems. Unfortunately she passed away today. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima-September Sad News (C1713-Kauls)!

<20-09-2017> C1713-Kauls (M), around one week old, was rescued by Anima on 18th September 2017, after a call from Ms. Sio reporting that there was a kitten alone near the Municipal Market of Patane. She asked us for help. We collected C1713-Kauls and he was checked by our vet. C1713-Kauls had an eye infection. He was temporarily fostered by our staff Ms. Peng as he needed milk feeding. C1713-Kauls was found with bloated belly and with difficulty in breathing this morning. He was sent to a clinic and some blood was found in his anus. Unfortunately, C1713-Kauls passed away during examination. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima-September Sad News (R027-Bonnie)!

<20-09-2017> R027-Bonnie (M), around six years old at that time, was rescued by Anima on 28th June 2016, after a call from Ms. Kam reporting that a rabbit was given by her friend but she couldn´t keep him anymore as she will emmigrate soon. Bonnie was staying with us from that time. This morning Bonnie was very weak and didn't eat last night. We sent him to a clinic and the report showed he had a lot of pus inside his jaw. He started to have seizure and was suffering. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep. Anima-September Sad News (C1400-Korsak)!

<17-09-2017> C1400-Korsak (M), around five months old at that time, together with C1401-Kitman (F), around two years old, were rescued by Anima on 25th January 2017, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that her neighbor passed away and left some cats and no one was taking care of them. There is a hole inˇthe door of the flat andˇthe cats can come out and search for food. Ms. Peng and the neighbours set up a trap to catch them. Korsak and Kitman, were caught. They were checked by our vet and dewormed. Today C1400-Korsak was sent to a clinic. She has severe FIP cat flu and symptoms of feline distemper. She was very weak and suffering. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision! R.I.P....

Anima-September Sad News (C1569-Stanford)!

<16-09-2017> C1569-Stanford (M), around one year old at that time, was rescued by Anima on 2nd June 2017, after a call from IACM reporting that they don't have enough space for the cats.  C1569-Stanford had an accident and his right front limb was amputated.  He was neutered and vaccinated by IACM, then was delivered to Anima Cats Paradise. He was found jaundice and vomiting recently. The clinic report shows he has liver and renal failure. He is suffering. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep. <15-09-2017> C1662-DiDi (F), around 2 years old, C1663-Dana (F), C1664-Dacia (F), both around one year old, C1665-Daylon (M), around 4 years old, C1666-Darins (M), around one year old, C1667-Denni (M), around 2 years old, were rescued by Anima on 24th July 2017, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. They were all neutered and vaccinated by IACM. She was sent to clinic on 13 September 2017 as her health was getting worse. She had anemia, diabetes and severe renal failure. She was suffering, had to be force feeding and was unable to move. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Anima–September Sad News (C1336-Monie)!

<15-09-2017> C1336-Monie (F), four years old at that time, was rescued by Anima on 14th November 2016 after a call from Ms. Leong around 7pm reporting that an injured cat was found in Av. do Hipódromo and  was limping.  Monie was sent to a clinic and did an x-rays. She has been staying with us from that time. C1336-Monie was fostered on 2nd September 2017. However, she was brought back to Anima for consultation on 11 September for not eating. She was dehydrated, had gingivitis and upper respiratory tract infection. She had yellowish nasal and ocular discharge. Unfortunately, C1336-Monie passed away this morning. R.I.P. my friend! <13-09-2017> C914-Amaya was rescued by Anima on 19th March 2015, after a call from Ms. Ng reporting that she was on her terrace at Edificio Fong Heng. As she has three dogs, there was a risk of Amaya being killed by them. She was found dead today in out Cats’ Paradise. Her health has been deteriorated in the last month! R.I.P. my friend! Anima–September Rescue and Sad News (C1705-Lucky)!

<08-09-2017> C1705-Lucky (M), few days old, was rescued by Anima on 8th September 2017, after a call from Ms. Kwok reporting that a new born kitten was found with umbilical cord in Rua Três da Areia Preta this morning. Ms. Kwok took him to her shop and asked our help. C1705-Lucky was very weak and he had hypothermia. We tried to feed him but he refused to drink the milk.
