Anima–August Sad News (C1579-Celery)!

<07-08-2017> C1562-Heidi (F), was rescued by Anima on 29th May 2017, with around two years old, after a call from Mr. Leong, informing that he has rescued a pregnant cat, C1562-Heidi, near Estrada de Ferreira do Amaral the night before. As he had no experience for taking care of a pregnant cat, he asked us to help. Heidi was in our Cats’ Paradise and C1577-Cabbage, C1578-Pea, C1579-Celery (M), C1580-Eggplant (M) were born on 4th June 2017. C1579-Celery had upper respiratory tract infection and he was under force feeding. Unfortunately he died this evening. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–August Sad News (C791-Renee)!

<07-08-2017> C791-Renee (F), around 4.5 years old now, was rescued by Anima on 3rd September 2014, after a call from Ms. Liu reporting that there was a cat in a construction site that will be closed, near Travessa da Se. She was pregnant. We decided to rescue and as the pregnancy was too developed we decided also to keep the kittens once born. C791-Renee was getting sick since two weeks ago. She had gingivitis and had been under medication. Yesterday she became very weak and dehydrated. She was under dripping but unfortunately she couldn’t make it. R.I.P. my friend! Anima–August Sad News (C1529-Jomen)!

<06-08-2017> C1529-Jomen (M), C1530-Jono (M) and C1531-Joci (F), all around two years old, were rescued by Anima on the 10th May 2017, after a call from IACM, asking us to help keeping them in Anima as the kennel had no more space for other rescues. They have all microchip, were spayed and properly vaccinated. They were de-wormed, checked and delivered to Cat Paradise. C1529-Jomen had upper respiratory infection, ocular and nasal discharge. Anima–August Sad News (C1521-Sine)!

<06-08-2017> C1521-Sine (F) and C1522-Cosine (F), both around four years old, were rescued by Anima on the 9th May 2017, after a call from IACM, asking us to help keeping them in Anima as the kennel has no more space for other rescues. They have all microchip, were spayed and properly vaccinated. They were de-wormed, checked and delivered to Cat Paradise. C1521-Sine had upper respiratory infection and gingivitis. Anima–August Sad News (C1639-Troy)!

<05-08-2017> C1639-Troy (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 11th July 2017, after a call from Mr. Si reporting that he rescued a cat one month ago and his friend was taking care of the cat temporarily. He asked our help as his friend had no condition to keep the cat anymore. C1639-Troy was checked by our vet and dewormed. He had gingivitis and fever and was staying in quarantine in our Cat’s Paradise. Later on we found out that C1639-Troy had a lump in the lower jaw and he refused to eat. Anima–August Sad News (C1532-Judo)!

<04-08-2017> C1532-Judo (M), on the time around two months old, was rescued by Anima on the 10th May 2017, after a call from Ms. Chou, informing that she found a kitten, C1532-Judo, alone in Calçada da Igreja de São Lazaro and asked our help. Judo was checked by our vet and had upper respiratory infection. He was de-wormed, checked and delivered to Cat Paradise. C1532-Judo was transferred to our clinic on 21st July. He had seizure, high fever and severe upper respiratory tract infection. He was under observation and medication since that. Unfortunately he couldn’t make it. R.I.P. my friend! Anima-August Sad News (116-Angellia)!

<03-08-2017> 116-Angellia (F), around 15 years old now, passed away today in our clinic. Angellia was found not eating and not moving two days ago. She was checked and stayed under dripping since that. Angellia was one of our eldest dogs that had stayed with us for so long. She loved food more than everything. We had to hide our lunch box very well when she is near. We already miss you! R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–August Sad News (C1686-Dewey)!

<02-08-2017> C1685-Derrick (M) and C1686-Dewey (M), both around one month old, were rescued by Anima on 1st August 2017, after a call from our board member Mr. Francisco Leandro, reporting that there were around 10 cats in a Hotel in Macau in very bad situation. The hotel’s staff is helping us to catch the cats. We have provided a trap! C1685-Derrick and C1686-Dewey were caught and were checked in our clinic. C1685-Derrick had skin problem. C1686-Dewey had eye and skin problems. They were staying in quarantine in our Cat’s Paradise under medication. C1686-Dewey was found very weak today, he was not eating and had low body temperature. We had to force feeding him and use a warmer to warm him. Later C1686-Dewey had difficulty in breathing and he passed away during the consultation. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Anima–August Sad News (C334-Hoover)!

<02-08-2017> C332-Basha, C334-Hoover and C609-Grita, were rescued by Anima on 9th April 2012, 11th April 2012 and 19th October 2013, respectively, and adopted on 20th May 2012 (Basha and Hoover) and 17th January 2014 (Grita) by the same adopter. The first two were rescued through Michele and the third one was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Ao. They were returned to Anima as the adopter informed us that her daughter's asthma was becoming stronger and she was told by her doctor to give them away.  They were brought to Anima on 28th May 2017  and checked by our vet.  They were all neutered and had received the annual vaccination. They were staying in C22 for few days for adaptation to the new environment and calm down. We disagreed with this abandonment. These cats  had a lot of difficulties to adapt to an environment full of cats, because of their own characteristics! They were...

Anima–August Sad News (SPPC1024-Syd)!

<01-08-2017> SPPC1024-Syd (M), was under our Special Protection Program since 19th August 2015, when he was around of 1.5 years old, after a call from Michele, reporting that a cat was found somewhere in Taipa. Syd was rescued by Anima again on 30th January 2017, through Michele, as his left front leg was bitten by other cats and was swollen. SPPC1024-Syd was found not moving and had difficulty in breathing few days ago. He was very weak, dehydrated, had yellowish peritoneal fluid, lethargic and suspected with FIP. He began to enter in suffer! After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep.
