Anima–July Sad News (C1611-Darkie)!

<07-07-2017> C1611-Darkie (M), with an estimated age of three months old, was rescued by Anima on 24th June 2017, after a call from Mr. Song reporting that a kitten was found alone in Kun Iam Temple. C1611-Darkie was checked by our vet and dewormed. He was staying in our Cat’s Paradise. C1611-Darkie had vomited on 28th June and was transferred to our vet area under medication. He was found with diarrhea and stopped eating since yesterday. This morning C1611-Darkie was very weak and had low temperature. We tried to regain the temperature by putting warmth bag but he passed away after 30 minutes. Peritoneal fluid was found in his abdomen and we suspected the cause of death was FIP. R.I.P. my friend! Anima–July Sad News (C394-Dandy)!

<03-07-2017> C394-Dandy (M), around six years old now, was rescued by Anima on 1st October 2012, after a call from Ms. Annie reporting that a cat needed our help. C394-Dandy was found passed away this morning in the free area of our Cat’s Paradise. The body was checked by our vet and cause of death is the combination of upper respiratory tract infection and severe gingivitis. He was a quiet friend and a bit shy to people, but he always stayed beside when you needed him. We will miss you! R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–July Rescue and Sad News (C1629-Meicy)!

<03-07-2017> C1629-Meicy (F), around seven months old, was rescued by Anima on 3rd July 2017, after a call from Mr. Sam reporting that a cat was found inside a bag on R. Central de Toi San. Her hind legs were injured and she was shaking a lot. C1629-Meicy was sent to a clinic for further examination. According to the vet, she had seizure every five minutes even they after the sedative medication. The vet diagnosis was C1629-Meicy had neurological problem, was in deep suffer and he couldn't do better and as so he recommended the euthanasia. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Anima–July Rescue and Sad News (C1628-Mojito)!

<03-07-2017> C1628-Mojito (F), few days old, was rescued by Anima on 3rd July 2017, after a call from Mr. Chan reporting that a new born kitten was found in a pavilion on Guia Hill. According to passers-by, C1628-Mojito had been crying there for few hours but no mother cat was seen. She started having difficulty in breathing and could not swallow the milk in the afternoon. Anima–July Sad News (894-Jessica)!

<01-07-2017> Our 894-Jessica became sick and had been staying in our vet area for some days. She was taking medication but she didn’t improve at all and began to enter in suffer! After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Anima-June Sad News (C1598-Quy)!

<24-06-2017> C1598-Quy (M), on the time around three days old, was rescued by Anima on 15th June 2017, after a call from Ms. Lee, informing that a cat was found in Rua do Tarrafeiro. She collected C1598-Quy as it was raining. She asked us to help. C1598-Quy was checked by our vet and fostered by our assistant supervisor Ms. Peng temporarily as he needed milk feeding. His spirit was not good since yesterday but still willing to drink milk. Unfortunately he passed away this morning. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–June Sad News (C1176-Domina)!

<23-06-2017> C1176-Domina (F), on the time around six years old, was rescued by Anima on 26th April 2016, after a call from Mr. Ho reporting that he had been taking care of Domina for five years in a warehouse, but he didn’t want her anymore as she always pees on his goods. He asked if we could collect her. We lent a container to Mr. Ho and Domina was caught and delivered to Anima. Domina had been under treatment since 16th June 2017 as she was getting skinny and dehydrated. She had FIP, gingivitis and breathing sonorous. She was taking medication but she didn’t improve at all and begin to enter in suffer! After discussion with our vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Anima–June New Cats Born and Sad News (C1605, C1606)!

<20-06-2017> C1565-Gretel (F), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on the 30th May 2017, after a call from Mr. Oscar, from Anihelp, informing that they rescued a cat in Nam Van area and the cat was unable to move. The cat was sent to a clinic for consultation and for an X-rays. The result showed that her pelvis was fractured. No surgery was needed as she could recover by herself, in around one month to 1.5 months and she must stay in a cage for limitation of movements according to the vet. C1565-Gretel was brought to Anima and was staying in our V6. Today two dead fetus, C1605-Goss and C1606-Grital were found in her cat litter box. C1565-Gretel will be under close observation now.
