Anima–August Sad News (SPPC1024-Syd)!

<01-08-2017> SPPC1024-Syd (M), was under our Special Protection Program since 19th August 2015, when he was around of 1.5 years old, after a call from Michele, reporting that a cat was found somewhere in Taipa. Syd was rescued by Anima again on 30th January 2017, through Michele, as his left front leg was bitten by other cats and was swollen. SPPC1024-Syd was found not moving and had difficulty in breathing few days ago. He was very weak, dehydrated, had yellowish peritoneal fluid, lethargic and suspected with FIP. He began to enter in suffer! After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision! R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima-July Sad News (B076-Bibi)!

<31-07-2017> B076-Bibi, was rescued by Anima on 30th July 2017, after a call from Mr. Kwan reporting that a bird fell down from the nest on a street near Rua da Palha. B076-Bibi was unable to fly. B076-Bibi was staying in a clinic for observation. We were informed by the clinic that Bibi passed away in the afternoon as Bibi was very weak. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Anima–July Sad News (C1584-Rider)!

<30-07-2017> C1582-Ryden (M), around 2 years old, C1583-Rusty (M), around one year old and C1584-Rider (M), around one year old, were rescued by Anima on the 8th June 2017, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for those cats as they need space for saving other cats! They were staying in free area in our Cat’s Paradise. C1584-Rider had jaundice and upper respiratory infection with nasal and ocular discharge. Unfortunately he died this morning. R.I.P. my friend! Anima–July Sad News (C1658-Reeta)!

<28-07-2017> C1658-Reeta (F), around one month old, was rescued by Anima on 22nd July 2017, after a call from Ms. Chio reporting that a kitten was found in Jardim de Luís de Camões and she seems injured. C1658-Reeta was checked and dewormed. She had upper respiratory tract infection with nasal and ocular discharge. She was fostered by our staff Ronaldo temporarily as she needed milk feeding. Unfortunately she passed away this afternoon, and the cause of death is severe upper respiratory tract infection. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–July Sad News (SPPC1613-Abela)!

<28-07-2017> SPPC1613-Abela (F) and SPPC1614-Ada (F), both around three months old, were under our Special Protection Program and rescued by Anima on 26th June 2017, through Michele, somewhere in Taipa. SPPC1613-Abela was checked in our clinic on 25th July. Her stool was found with giardiasis and also some roundworms eggs. Her condition was getting worse in the next day and she had been under dripping since that. SPPC1613-Abela passed away this afternoon. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Anima–July Rescue and Sad News (C1680-Skettle)!

<28-07-2017> C1680-Skettle (M), around three years old, was rescued by Anima already dead on 28th July 2017, after a call from Ms. Lam reporting that a cat was found dying in  Bairro da Concordia and it seems he was poisoned. C1680-Skettle was vomiting foam and he passed away before we arrived. The body was checked by our vet, we suspected that he ate poisonous food, insecticides, or a dead rat that ate rat poison. No wounds or bruises were found. The body will be delivered to Macau Kennel. R.I.P. my friend! Thanks Ms. Lam! Please help us to help them! All animals have rights! Anima-July Sad News (156-Lex)!

<27-07-2017> 156-Lex (M), around twelve years old now, passed away this afternoon in the clinic. Lex was found acting restless, pacing and laying around at the same time, vomited and breathing irregularly. He was sent to a clinic immediately for further examination. The vet found that his stomach and spleen were rotated. A surgery was performed but unfortunately Lex couldn’t make it. He died one hour after the surgery. Lex was one of our eldest dogs that had stayed with us for so long. He was quiet but friendly and always wanted to be pet. We will miss you! R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–July Sad News (C1580-Eggplant)!

<26-07-2017> C1562-Heidi (F), was rescued by Anima on 29th May 2017, with around two years old, after a call from Mr. Leong, informing that he has rescued a pregnant cat, C1562-Heidi, near Estrada de Ferreira do Amaral the night before. As he had no experience for taking care of a pregnant cat, he asked us to help. Heidi was in our Cats’ Paradise and C1577-Cabbage, C1578-Pea, C1579-Celery, C1580-Eggplant (M) were born on 4th June 2017. C1580-Eggplant and his siblings were checked by vet on 20th July due to enlarged mandibular lymph nodes and upper respiratory tract infection. He was under force feeding as well. Anima–July Sad News (C1481-Muji)!

<26-07-2017> C1478-Marlo (M), born on 21st March 2013, C1479-Marfy (F), born on 23rd February 2014, C1480-Mukki (F), born on 14th March 2014 and C1481-Muji (F), born on 1st January 2015, were rescued by Anima after a call from IACM reporting that as they have no space, those cats were prepared to go to Anima. They were all neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped. C1481-Muji had received a corneal transplant surgery on the left eye when in IACM. She finished the medication but she kept scratching her eye. She had to wear collar for a while and was staying in C9 for cleaning the eyes every day until her condition was stable enough to go to the free area. C1481-Muji was transferred to our vet area on 2nd July 2017 as she was not eating and dehydrated. She was under dripping and unfortunately she couldn’t make it. Anima–July Sad News (C1387-Muffin)!

<26-07-2017> C1387-Muffin (M), with an estimated age of two years old, C1388-Nacho (F), with an estimated age of three years old, C1389-Popcorn (F), with an estimated age of two years old, C1390-Sundae (F) and C1391-Waffles (F), both with an estimated age of nine months old, C1392-Coco (M) with an estimated age of seven months old, were rescued by Anima on 19th January 2017, after a call from IACM asking Anima to help those animals that have been placed for adoption for long time without success. They stayed in free area in our Cat’s Paradise. C1387-Muffin was transferred to our vet area as he was dehydrated and weak yesterday. Blood test showed that he had renal and liver problem.
