Anima–July Sad News (C1580-Eggplant)!

<26-07-2017> C1562-Heidi (F), was rescued by Anima on 29th May 2017, with around two years old, after a call from Mr. Leong, informing that he has rescued a pregnant cat, C1562-Heidi, near Estrada de Ferreira do Amaral the night before. As he had no experience for taking care of a pregnant cat, he asked us to help. Heidi was in our Cats’ Paradise and C1577-Cabbage, C1578-Pea, C1579-Celery, C1580-Eggplant (M) were born on 4th June 2017. C1580-Eggplant and his siblings were checked by vet on 20th July due to enlarged mandibular lymph nodes and upper respiratory tract infection. He was under force feeding as well. Unfortunately he died this afternoon. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–July Sad News (C1481-Muji)!

<26-07-2017> C1478-Marlo (M), born on 21st March 2013, C1479-Marfy (F), born on 23rd February 2014, C1480-Mukki (F), born on 14th March 2014 and C1481-Muji (F), born on 1st January 2015, were rescued by Anima after a call from IACM reporting that as they have no space, those cats were prepared to go to Anima. They were all neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped. C1481-Muji had received a corneal transplant surgery on the left eye when in IACM. She finished the medication but she kept scratching her eye. She had to wear collar for a while and was staying in C9 for cleaning the eyes every day until her condition was stable enough to go to the free area. C1481-Muji was transferred to our vet area on 2nd July 2017 as she was not eating and dehydrated. She was under dripping and unfortunately she couldn’t make it. Anima–July Sad News (C1387-Muffin)!

<26-07-2017> C1387-Muffin (M), with an estimated age of two years old, C1388-Nacho (F), with an estimated age of three years old, C1389-Popcorn (F), with an estimated age of two years old, C1390-Sundae (F) and C1391-Waffles (F), both with an estimated age of nine months old, C1392-Coco (M) with an estimated age of seven months old, were rescued by Anima on 19th January 2017, after a call from IACM asking Anima to help those animals that have been placed for adoption for long time without success. They stayed in free area in our Cat’s Paradise. C1387-Muffin was transferred to our vet area as he was dehydrated and weak yesterday. Blood test showed that he had renal and liver problem. He was under dripping and unfortunately he couldn't make it. He was found death this morning. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–July Rescue and Sad News (B074-Jane)!

<26-07-2017> B074-Jane, was rescued by Anima already dead on 26th July 2017, after a call from our staff reporting that a bird body was found in our shelter. As there were some bite marks on the body, we suspected that B074-Jane was killed by the dogs. The body will be delivered to Macau Kennel. R.I.P. my friend! Sorry, this is the life! Anima–July Sad News (SPP1203-Mui Mui)!

<25-07-2017> SPP1203-Mui Mui (F), a white dog, was under our Special Protection Program (SPP), together with SPP819-Gor Gor (M), a dark brown dog, from 22nd January 2014, and they were living near Miramar Restaurant in Coloane. We have detected the disappearance of Mui Mui on 17th July 2017 and we tried immediately to find her. We were not able to find her before today, even using Gor Gor with us. Mui Mui was a very gentle lady and never went too far away of her place. Anima has provided two houses for Mui Mui and Gor Gor inside Miramar area, and they were being taken care by the staff of Miramar Restaurant and by Anima rescue team! It’s strange that she disappeared  and didn’t come back to her place as she wasn’t collected by IACM. This has never happened in the past! Her body was found this morning in the bushes of...

Anima–July Sad News (C1577-Cabbage)!

<24-07-2017> C1562-Heidi (F), was rescued by Anima on 29th May 2017, with around two years old, after a call from Mr. Leong, informing that he has rescued a pregnant cat, C1562-Heidi, near Estrada de Ferreira do Amaral the night before. <24-07-2017> S017-Coba was rescued by Anima already dead on 24th July 2017, after a call from our staff reporting that a snack body was found in our shelter. Anima–July Sad News (SPPC1557-Jet)!

<23-07-2017> The mother, SPPC1555-Juna, around two years old, with her kittens, SPPC1556-Jess, SPPC1557-Jet (M) and SPPC1558-Joss, on the time all around two months old, were rescued by Anima and became under our Special Protection Program, on the 26th May 2017, through Michele, somewhere in Taipa. All of them were brought to Anima for consultation and de-worming and were returned to their place under Michele responsibility. SPPC1557-Jet was brought back to Anima on 26th June 2017 for consultation. He was noticed getting skinny since one week ago and had been under medication since that. Anima–July Sad News (SPPC1413-Lancelot)!

<23-07-2017> SPPC1413-Lancelot (M), with an estimated age of four years old, entered in our Special Protection Program when was rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 1st February 2017, somewhere in Taipa. He was de-wormed and castrated by our vet on 1st February 2017 and then returned to his former place after medication prescribed. He was rescued again on 19th May 2017 when was brought to Anima for consultation as he was skinny. He was delivered back and came again on 9th June 2017, due to diarrhea. Blood test from few days ago showed that he had renal problems, dehydration with slight diabetes. He had been under dripping since that day. Unfortunately he couldn’t make it. R.I.P. my friend! Anima–July Sad News (C1270-Mei)!

<20-07-2017> C1270-Mei (F), on the time around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 26th August 2016, after a call from Ms. Choi reporting that a cat fell down from a building in Estrada Mei Keng to her balcony and entered her apartment. Mei was checked by our vet and no injury was found on her body. She stayed with us since that. Unfortunately she has died in the morning and the cause of death was FIP. R.I.P. my friend!
