Anima–June Sad News (C707-Corinne)!

<20-06-2017> C707-Corinne (F), with an estimated age of  four years old now, was rescued by Anima on 3rd May 2014, as she was very skinny and dehydrated. Corinne had jaundice and had been under IV dripping since last week. She was breathing hard, no strength to move and not eating. Blood test showed she had renal failure. She was taking medication but she didn’t improve at all and begin to enter in suffer! After discussion with our vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision! R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–June Sad News (C1353-Hyper)!

<19-06-2017> C1353-Hyper (M), on the time with an estimated age of one year old, was rescued by Anima on 11th December 2016, after a call from Mr. Yung, reporting that a cat was trapped in a rat glue in Rua Dois do Bairro da Areia Preta. Hyper was checked by our vet and dewormed and the hair that had glue was shaved as well. He was transferred to our Cats’ Paradise in the next day. C1353-Hyper was found dead this morning without a visible cause. Shelters are not the appropriate place for cats, specially when there are hundreds of cats and few people handling the shelter . Anima has only four handlers for around 200 cats (for cleaning, giving food, checking and grooming) and in case of any spread of a virus it is very difficult  to detect it earlier in advance! Anima–June Sad News (C1599-Wasson)!

<19-06-2017> C1599-Wasson (M), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 15th June 2017, after a call from Mr. Chou, informing that a cat was found in Rua da Pedra, Coloane, and his hind legs were paralyzed. A student found him that morning and put him in a box but left him on the sideway, so Mr. Chou decided to bring C1599-Wasson to Cats’ Paradise for help. C1599-Wasson was checked by our vet, de-wormed and sprayed with Frontline. His both hind legs were paralyzed and he had to be massaged for urinate. He was taken to a clinic that referred that may be his situation was congenital but after some extra checking it was noted that there were several bites already closed in Wasson that could be done by dogs. Anima–June Sad News (C1592-Apollo)!

<19-06-2017> C1519-Alma (F) and C1520-Allie (F), around two years and one year old, respectively, were rescued by Anima on the 9th May 2017, after a call from Ms. Sandy, reporting that she took them home the day before and has asked us if we could take to Anima all the cats she feeds in Guia as she found many have been poisoned there. They were brought to Anima, checked by our vet and de-wormed. C1519-Alma has severe gingivitis and upper respiratory problems and was pregnant. She was breathing hard with yellowish nasal discharge and was dehydrated. She was staying in V8 under treatment. C1591-Aliana (F), C1592-Apollo (M) and C1593-Ayden (M) were born by C1519-Alma on 11th June 2017. C1593-Ayden passed away after born. Today C1592-Apollo passed away around 6pm due to hard breathing. Anima–June Rescue and Sad News (C1604-Kimono)!

<19-06-2017> C1604-Kimono (M), around six months old, was rescued by Anima on 19th June 2017, after a call from Mr. Hoi reporting that a cat was found in a carton box at Rua da Felicidade. C1604-Kimono was sent to a clinic immediately as he was very skinny and weak. Unfortunately he passed away when we arrived the clinic. Thanks Mr. Hoi! R.I.P. my friend! Never abandon your pet! June New Cats Born and Sad News (C1591 to C1593)!

<12-06-2017> C1519-Alma (F) and C1520-Allie (F), around two years and one year old, respectively, were rescued by Anima on the 9th May 2017, after a call from Ms. Sandy, reporting that she took them home yesterday and asked us if we could take to Anima all the cats she feeds in Guia as she found many have been poisoned there. Anima–June Rescue and Sad News (C1588 to C1590)!

<11-06-2017> C1588-Hanna (F), C1589-Hanni (F) and C1590-Hunny (M), all around two months old, were rescued by Anima on 11th June 2017, after a call from Mr. Lao, informing that there were three kittens trapped in the balcony of the second floor of the Edifício (building) Tim Chui. Hunny was dead already and his body was collected and delivered to IACM. C1588-Hanna and C1589-Hanni were checked by out vet, de-wormed and sprayed with Frontline. Anima – June Sad News (1528-Paulina)!

<06-06-2017> 1524-Paxton, 1525-Payton, 1526-Parker, 1527-Paulette, 1528-Paulina and 1529-Pauline were rescued by Anima on 21st September 2015, in Coloane, after a call from Mr. Edgar. They were alone and no mother was found at the place. 1528-Paulina was adopted on 26th October 2015. Later we were informed by the adopter on 7th May 2017, that 1528-Paulina was not eating for two days and was unable to move. The adopter brought 1528-Paulina to a clinic for consultation but nothing could be done. Ms. Lai asked us to help as the condition of 1528-Paulina was not improving and she couldn't afford the expensive bills. 1528-Paulina was brought to Anima for consultation, she did a blood test and the result showed she was anemic and had an infection. Anima–June Rescue and Sad News (1898-Alisa)!

<02-06-2017> 1898-Alisa (F), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 2nd June 2017, after a call from “Comando da Polícia de Segurança Pública” (the headquarters of Public Security Police) informing that 1898-Alisa, was hit by a car in Rua de Sacadura Cabral and was dying. 1898-Alisa had an owner and she lost her as the leash was loose. 1898-Alisa passed away before we arrived. The body of 1898-Alisa was delivered to Macau kennel. Thanks PSP! R.I.P. my friend! Please be careful and responsible when taking your pets outside! Anima–May Sad News (C1533-Galina)!

<26-05-2017> C1533-Galina (F), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on the 13th May 2017, after a call from Mr. Oscar from Anihelp, informing that he has rescued C1533-Galina near Iao Hon Market in the morning and has delivered her to a clinic for consultation as she was very weak. C1533-Galina was dehydrated and with low temperature, and was hospitalized in the clinic the night before for IV Dripping and observation. C1533-Galina was collected by Anima and was staying in V6 continuing with the treatment. Unfortunately she entered in suffer and nobody could help her. By our Code of Ethics, after a favorable vet opinion, two board members of Anima approved to put her sleeping, the last one the President. She was euthanized on 26th May 2017! R.I.P. my friend!
