Anima–July Sad News (SPP1881-James)!

<16-07-2017> SPP1881-James (M), with an estimated age of two years old, was under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 12th May 2017, after a call from Mr. Fung reporting that SPP1881-James was living somewhere in a site in Cotai under his responsibility and asked us to help supporting food for SPP1881-James. As he does not work there every day, our rescue team was responsible to give food to SPP1881-James every day! Mr. Fong informed us that SPP1881-James was unable to walk and stand on 12th July. He was sent to a clinic for an x-rays. The report showed that there was no fractures in the spin or hips. The vet suspected that SPP1881-James had neurological problem. He was sent to a second clinic for further examination on 13th July as his spirit was getting worse. According to the second vet, he had ehrlichia and the spinal disc was injured. Anima–July Sad News (C1048-Boyd)!

<14-07-2017> C1047-Buddy and C1048-Boyd, both males, on the time around 1.5 months and 3 weeks, respectively, were rescued by Anima on 8th October 2015, after a call from Michelle that brought them to Anima. C1048-Boyd had been getting sick and he was transferred to our vet area since three days ago. He was under medication and observation but unfortunately he couldn’t make it. Anima–July Sad News (SPPC1549-Abree)!

<13-07-2017> SPPC1547-Ayana (F), SPPC1548-Asad (M), SPPC1549-Abree (F), SPPC1550-Ali (M) and SPPC1551-Avery (M), on the time all around two months old, were rescued by Anima and under our Special Protection Program, on the 25th May 2017, through Michele, somewhere in Taipa. They were brought to Anima again for consultation on 26th June 2017 and they were staying with us for adoption. SPPC1549-Abree was getting sick and having diarrhea since yesterday. Anima–July Sad News (C1631-Amari)!

<08-07-2017> C1631-Amari (F), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 5th July 2017, after a call from Mr. Lei reporting that a kitten with eyes infected was found near the public toilet in Guia Hill. C1631-Amari was checked by our vet and dewormed. She had maggots all over her body as well. She was fostered by our Cat Supervisor Effie temporarily as she needed force feeding. Anima–July Sad News (C1465-Vantor)!

<08-07-2017> C1465-Vantor (M), with an estimated age of seven years old, was rescued by Anima on 22nd March 2017 after a call from Pousada de Coloane, informing that C1465-Vantor was getting skinner recently, drooling from the mouth and seemed to have skin problems. The cat was very scared of people and they asked whether we could help to catch and provide medical assistance to him. C1465-Vantor was caught and brought to Anima and checked by our vet. He had severe gingivitis and skin problems and hair loss on the back. C1465-Vantor had been getting sick and under dripping since two weeks ago. Unfortunately he passed away this morning. Anima–July Sad News (C1618-Marco)!

<07-07-2017> C1618-Marco (M), C1619-Milton (M) and C1620-Muriel (M), all around one month old, were rescued by Anima on 28th June 2017, after a call from Ms. Bing reporting that three kittens were found in a street of Barra. No mother was around. She asked our help as the kittens were too young to survive by themselves. They were fostered by our Supervisor Zoe temporarily as they need milk feeding. C1618-Marco was checked by our vet few days ago as he had diarrhea. He also had hypothermia and intestinal parasites, medication was prescribed. Unfortunately he passed away during the night. Anima–July Sad News (C1611-Darkie)!

<07-07-2017> C1611-Darkie (M), with an estimated age of three months old, was rescued by Anima on 24th June 2017, after a call from Mr. Song reporting that a kitten was found alone in Kun Iam Temple. C1611-Darkie was checked by our vet and dewormed. He was staying in our Cat’s Paradise. C1611-Darkie had vomited on 28th June and was transferred to our vet area under medication. He was found with diarrhea and stopped eating since yesterday. This morning C1611-Darkie was very weak and had low temperature. We tried to regain the temperature by putting warmth bag but he passed away after 30 minutes. Peritoneal fluid was found in his abdomen and we suspected the cause of death was FIP. R.I.P. my friend! Anima–July Sad News (C394-Dandy)!

<03-07-2017> C394-Dandy (M), around six years old now, was rescued by Anima on 1st October 2012, after a call from Ms. Annie reporting that a cat needed our help. C394-Dandy was found passed away this morning in the free area of our Cat’s Paradise. The body was checked by our vet and cause of death is the combination of upper respiratory tract infection and severe gingivitis. Anima–July Rescue and Sad News (C1629-Meicy)!

<03-07-2017> C1629-Meicy (F), around seven months old, was rescued by Anima on 3rd July 2017, after a call from Mr. Sam reporting that a cat was found inside a bag on R. Central de Toi San. Her hind legs were injured and she was shaking a lot. C1629-Meicy was sent to a clinic for further examination. According to the vet, she had seizure every five minutes even they after the sedative medication. The vet diagnosis was C1629-Meicy had neurological problem, was in deep suffer and he couldn't do better and as so he recommended the euthanasia. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Anima–July Rescue and Sad News (C1628-Mojito)!

<03-07-2017> C1628-Mojito (F), few days old, was rescued by Anima on 3rd July 2017, after a call from Mr. Chan reporting that a new born kitten was found in a pavilion on Guia Hill. According to passers-by, C1628-Mojito had been crying there for few hours but no mother cat was seen. She started having difficulty in breathing and could not swallow the milk in the afternoon.
