Anima–May Sad News (C1508-Jewel)!

<04-05-2017> C1508-Jewel (F), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 29th April 2017, after a call from Mr. Leong, reporting that a kitten, C1508-Jewel, was found in Rua de Malaca, near Golden Dragon Macau, and was sick. He asked us to help. C1508-Jewel was checked by our vet and de-wormed. She was dehydrated and had low temperature. C1508-Jewel was staying in V6 under treatment. She died this afternoon! R.I.P. my friend! Never abandon your pets! Anima- April Sad News (C944-Cayla)!

C954-Cato and C955-Cayla were rescued by Anima on 22nd May 2015, after a call from Mrs. Hui reporting that Cato and Cayla (the mother) were part of a group of seven cats living in a construction site. People there seemed not happy seeing community members feeding the animals. She was also worried the workers will poison the remaining two as three already have disappeared suddenly. C955-Cayla passed away in V6 this afternoon due to severe jaundice and liver problem. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima – April Sad News (SPPC1022-Reeze)!

<28-04-2017> SPPC1022-Reeze, was rescued by Anima through Michele on 18th August 2015, and was under our special protection program from that time. She was pregnant! SPPC1022-Reese was found deceased this morning in C9. She was staying in C9 for observation since coming from our clinic on 1st April 2017. She had a history of vomiting blood and being skinny and dehydrated. R.I.P. my friend! Never abandon your pets! Anima – April Sad News (SPPC1494-Twiz)!

<24-04-2017> SPPC1494-Twiz (M), around 12 years old, was rescued by Anima through Michele, on 12th April 2017, somewhere in Taipa. He was skinny and seemed sick. He was checked by out vet and was staying now in V6 under IV dripping and closed observation. SPPC1494-Twiz was anemic and dehydrated with gingivitis, renal and liver problems. He died today mainly due to his renal and liver problems! R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima- April Sad News (SPP1142-Leng Mui)!

<17-04-2017> SPP1142-Leng Mui, around four years and three months old,  was living in Coloane Kennel,  from 6th October 2013, under the management of Anima. By an agreement between IACM and Anima, all dogs living in Coloane Kennel are handled by Anima and no one is killed! IACM has there 33 dogs and all are kept alive by this agreement. IACM provides the food and medical care and Anima the staff. SPP1142-Leng Mui passed away in Coloane Kennel last night. According to our staff her spirit and appetite were good a day before. We suspect that Leng Mui may have died of heart attack. Leng Mui was one dog that was handled in the past in a construction site by Anita Yip, a well known Macau animal activist that asked our support as the site was closing. Some of her dogs have moved to Coloane Kennel! She will keep the ashes of Leng...

<08-04-2017> C1484-Curry (M), with an estimated age of four months, was rescued by Anima already dead on 8th April 2017, after a call from Ms. Lam reporting that a kitten, C1484-Curry, was hit by a car in Rua (Street) Nova de S. Anima–April Rescue and Sad News (C1475-Mano)!

<01-04-2017> C1475-Mano (M), with an estimated age of six months, was rescued by Anima, after a call from Mr. Chan, informing that a cat was hit by a car in Rua da Cordoaria. C1475-Mano was checked by out vet. He was paralyzed, very weak, having difficulty in breathing, with blood nasal discharge, panting and in deep pain, many bone fractures and several holes in the body showing the intestines. There was no way to save him without putting him in more serious pain. After discussion with our vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. <28-03-2017> 1867-Livree (M), with an estimated age of three months old, was rescued by Anima already dead on 28th March 2017, after a call from our rescue team informing that the dead body of 1867-Livree was found on the trail to A-Ma Cultural Village when they were working there. Anima- March Sad News (C819-Miguel)!

<08-03-2017> C819-Miguel (M) was rescued by Anima on 23rd October 2014, after a call from Mrs. Gina. Mrs. King was the volunteer used to feed cats every day in that area. The test of FECV of C819-Miguel was positive. On that time we decided that we will not rescue healthy cats in the streets as they will live in more danger situation with us as they are not caged and they share the same litters. In a shelter, a virus can kill easily more animals than outside! C819-Miguel came again from our Cats’ Paradise on 3rd March 2017 for consultation as he has cat flu. He was also vomitting dark colour liquid since Monday and was having bloody and yellowish colour diarrhea. He passsed away on 8th March 2017, at around 17:45! R.I.P. my friend!
