Anima-February New Born and Sad News (C1426-Dawn)!

<18-02-2017> C1421-Saniya (F), was rescued by Anima on 10th February 2017, when she was around one year old, after a call from Mr. Lo reporting that he used to feed cats in a place of Macau and there was a female cat that got pregnant. Saniya was checked by our vet and dewormed. She was staying in quarantine in our Cat’s Paradise. One kitten, C1426-Dawn, was found miscarried by her today. Saniya was sent to a clinic as she needed a cesarean surgery to remove the rest of the kittens. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-February Sad News (982-Zima)!

<18-02-2017> 982-Zima (F), with an estimated age of 4.5 years old now, was rescued by Anima on 14th February 2013, after a call from Ms. Eszter reporting that a dog was found in Ka-Ho. Zima was  getting slim. She was diagnosed in the last stage of kidney failure,  was very weak, dehydrated, skinny and was vomiting and has bloody diarrhea in the past two days. She entered in pain and began to suffer! There was not much we could do for her. After discussed with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision! R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! <16-02-2017> 1857-Kalina (F), with an estimated age of five months old, was rescued by Anima already dead on 16th February 2017, after a call from the Traffic Department reporting that a dog was hit by a motorcycle in front of Restaurant Miramar. Anima-February Sad News (C552-Serena)!

<12-02-2017> C552-Serena (F), was rescued by Anima on 20th July 2013, after a call from Fatima reporting that a cat needed our help. Serena was found getting skinny and dehydrated one week ago. She was under medication and observation since that. She had hypothermia, the mouth smelled, the gum line was red as well. Most of the premolar and molar teeth on the upper right got removed. The upper left and the two upper canine teeth got thick tartar and had infection. Unfortunately she was found passed away this afternoon due to liver problem. R.I.P. my friend! Anima–January Rescue and Sad News (C1411-Hubid)!

<31-01-2017> C1411-Hubid (M), with an estimated age of two years old, was rescued by Anima already dead on 31st January 2017, after a call from our rescue team reporting that a cat body was found in a site of Coloane during their daily feeding. There was blood from the nose and mouth, and the body was not  completely rigid. Hubid might have been killed by a car in the early morning! Anima-January Sad News (1842-Mocco)!

<30-01-2017> 1842-Mocco (M), was rescued by Anima on 29th January 2017, with an estimated age of four years old, after a call from Mr. Andy reporting that a dog was hit by a car in the road of Ka-Ho. Mocco was severely injured, unable to move, and his nose was bleeding. He was sent to a clinic immediately for an x-ray. The report showed that there was lots of blood gathering inside his chest. Mocco was staying in the clinic for observation. Unfortunately we were informed by the clinic that Mocco passed away today around 4am as his lung was cracked. R.I.P. my friend! Anima-January Sad News (C319-Arisca)!

<26-01-2017> C319-Arisca (F), now with an estimated age of eight years old, was rescued by Anima on 12th March 2012, after a call from Michele reporting that a cat needed our help. Arisca was found getting sick and refused to eat recently. She was sent to a clinic on 21st January 2017 and was diagnosed with mycoplasma positive. She was not responding well to the new treatment. Arisca was very weak, dehydrated and skinny, had hypothermia and severely anemia as well. She was in suffer already! After a favourable vet opinion and the approval by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Anima-January Sad News (591-Wu Choi III)!

<21-01-2017> 591-Wu Choi III (M), with an estimated age of nine years old now, was rescued by Anima on 14th October 2010 and passed away today due to Spleen Problem (Immune Mediated Disease). Wu Choi III was found getting slim few months ago. He was sent to a clinic for consultation but he seemed not improving much. He was then transferred to a second clinic on 4th January and had a surgery to remove the spleen on 9th January. He was returned from the second clinic on 11th January and stayed with us under medication. But Wu Choi III collapsed on 14th January,  breathing hardly and seemed in deep pain. He was sent to the second clinic again and had been staying there under observation. Wu Choi III had a blood transfusion on 16th January as he was very anemic. Unfortunately he couldn’t make it as we were informed that he passed away in the clinic last...

Anima-January Sad News (C1384-Shui Gao)!

<16-01-2017> C1380-Amble (F), was rescued by Anima on 10th January 2017, with an estimated age of three years old, after a call from Mr. Iong reporting that he found a pregnant cat near Pou Tai Un Monastery. Amble was checked by our vet and dewormed. Two kittens C1383-Wonton (F) and C1384-Shui Gao (F) were born by her on 13th January 2017.
