Anima-December Sad News (374-Jacki II)!

<07-12-2016> 374-Jacki II (M), with an estimated age of ten years old now, passed away this morning in a clinic. Anima has an  investigating in course to understand exactly what happen to Jacky II inside and outside Anima. He was one of our eldest dogs that had stayed with us for so long. We will miss you! Anima-December Sad News (C1173-Cheddar)!

<06-12-2016> C1173-Cheddar (F), was rescued by Anima on 21st April 2016, with an estimated age of ten months old, after a call from Mr. Wai reporting that C1173-Cheddar fell down from the terrace of Jardim da Victoria (Block H). Our rescue team found C1173-Cheddar trapped in a closed terrace of the building. She was collected, checked and dewormed. Cheddar was dehydrated, had fever and gum problems. She was recovered and stayed with us since that. Cheddar was diagnosed with Stomatitis on 28th October 2016. She refused to eat and we started to force feeding since two weeks ago, but she was still getting skinnier. She had bloody diarrhea yesterday and was sent to a clinic for further examination. According to the vet, there was a hard lump in the abdomen, which was most possibly the cause of her condition. A surgery could be done, but the success rate was lower than 10% as Cheddar was...

Anima-December Sad News (H005-Dim Dim)!

<05-12-2016> H005-Dim Dim (M), H006-Sum Sum (F), were with an estimated age of four months old, together with three new born babies H007-Tic Tic, H008-Tac Tac and H009-Toe Toe, were hamsters rescued by Anima on 6th July 2016, after a call from Ms. Muk, a cleaner in Edificio Wang Son. She found H005-Dim Dim, H006-Sum Sum, H007-Tic Tic, H008-Tac Tac and H009-Toe Toe in a cage abandoned in the garbage room with a note. H006-Sum Sum is the mother of H007-Tic Tic, H008-Tac Tac and H009-Toe Toe. They were collected by us and H005-Dim Dim was staying in a separated cage, while H006-Sum Sum was staying with the three babies in another cage! Dim Dim was found passed away this morning without any symptoms. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-December Sad News (C1349-Grey)!

<05-12-2016> C1349-Grey (M), was rescued by Anima on 4th December 2016, with an estimated age of six years old, after a call from Mr. Ho reporting that a skinny cat was found in Rua de Cinco de Outubro. Grey was sent to a clinic for consultation. He had an eye infection and dehydration. He was staying in the clinic for observation. We were informed by the clinic today that Grey passed away due to Cerebral Edema. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-December Sad News (C1137-Bosso)!

<05-12-2016> C1137-Bosso (M), was rescued by Anima on 1st March 2016, with an estimated age of three years old, after a call from a man reporting that Bosso was fighting with other cat at home. On 23rd December 2015, we were contacted by the same owner asking us to collect his two cats as they were always attacking his older cat, C1137-Bosso. We collected one of the two cats, C1090-Shadie, at that time. The owner contacted us later referring that C1137-Bosso and the other cat were not fighting anymore. On 1st March 2016, the owner took C1137-Bosso to Anima and told us that Bosso was fighting with the other cat again. Very strange as Bosso was always attacked by the other cat! <03-12-2016> B056-BB was rescued by Anima on 23rd November 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina reporting that a bird was found soaking and unable to fly near Macau Polytechnic Institute. BB was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, BB was still very young and had not learnt how to fly. BB was sent to a clinic and had been staying in the clinic for observation. Anima-December Sad News (C432-Whitney)!

<03-12-2016> C432-Whitney (M), with an estimated age of seven years old now, was rescued by Anima on 22nd November 2012, after a call from Ms. Lee reporting that an injured cat was found in the border gate. He had been staying in the clinic since 23rd November 2016 due to Dermatitis. He had severe skin lesion on the back, the skin was inflamed and irritated, found with Feline Pancreatitis and dehydrated as well. Unfortunately Whitney couldn’t make it. Anima-December Sad News (688-Teddy)!

<02-12-2016> 688-Teddy (M), with an estimated age of ten years old now, was delivered by Anima on 19 November 2011, after a call reporting that a dog was found in a site and needed our help. Teddy had stayed with us since that day. Today Teddy was found not willing to move and refuse to eat in the morning. He was shivering and had high fever. He was sent to a clinic for consultation. It was not the first time that this happen. Several times he had to be sent to clinics! Unfortunately Teddy passed away in the clinic this afternoon, and the cause of death was Pneumonia. His body was delivered to Macau Kennel and we will collect the ashes later. Every morning when we pass his pen, we could always hear his voice, just like he was saying “good morning” to us. Anima-November Sad News (R029-Panda)!

<30-11-2016> R029-Panda (M), on the time with an estimated age of two years old, was rescued by Anima on 6th August 2016, after a call from Ms. Mui reporting that a rabbit was abandoned in Triângulo dos Amigos do Jardim inside a cage. Panda was sent to a clinic as he was crooked in one side and he was not able to move. His left ear had infection and the left eye had dacryocystitis. He had been staying in the clinic for treatment until yesterday. The bone of his neck had deformed and he would stay crooked forever. He couldn’t stand and walk properly. He was suffering and had poor life quality. He was even not capable to eat by himself! After discussed with our vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep.
