Anima-January Sad News (591-Wu Choi III)!

<21-01-2017> 591-Wu Choi III (M), with an estimated age of nine years old now, was rescued by Anima on 14th October 2010 and passed away today due to Spleen Problem (Immune Mediated Disease). Wu Choi III was found getting slim few months ago. He was sent to a clinic for consultation but he seemed not improving much. He was then transferred to a second clinic on 4th January and had a surgery to remove the spleen on 9th January. He was returned from the second clinic on 11th January and stayed with us under medication. But Wu Choi III collapsed on 14th January,  breathing hardly and seemed in deep pain. He was sent to the second clinic again and had been staying there under observation. Wu Choi III had a blood transfusion on 16th January as he was very anemic. Anima-January Sad News (C1384-Shui Gao)!

<16-01-2017> C1380-Amble (F), was rescued by Anima on 10th January 2017, with an estimated age of three years old, after a call from Mr. Iong reporting that he found a pregnant cat near Pou Tai Un Monastery. Amble was checked by our vet and dewormed. Two kittens C1383-Wonton (F) and C1384-Shui Gao (F) were born by her on 13th January 2017. Unfortunately Shui Gao was found death this morning when we started working. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-January Sad News (SPP1833-Jenkin)!

<08-01-2017> SPP1833-Jenkin (M), was under our Special Protection Program (SPP) and was rescued by Anima on 2nd January 2017, with an estimated age of five years old, after a call from Ms. Rebecca reporting that a dog was found sick in a site of Coloane. According to Rebecca, Jenkin refused to eat for few days and he was getting skinny. Jenkin was sent to a clinic for consultation and he had been staying in the clinic since that. He had kidney failure with severe anemia. Unfortunately Jenkin situation get worst this morning and passed away during the emergency treatment. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-January Sad News (C1371-Weenee)!

<08-01-2017> C1371-Weenee (F), was rescued by Anima on 27th December 2016, with an estimated age of one year old, after a call from Mr. Lam reporting that a cat entered into his shop near Fai Chi Kei Health Center but he couldn’t keep the cat. She was found very weak suddenly yesterday morning, lying motionless and severely dehydrated. She was not improving today, still breathing weakly and not moving at all. She was in suffer and we the vets not capable to help her! After discussed with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Anima-January Sad News (SPPC946-Sheila)!

<07-01-2017> C946-Sheila (F), with an estimated age of nine years old now, was under our Special Protection Program (SPP), and rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 7th May 2015, somewhere in Taipa. Sheila had renal failure and dehydration. She was on dripping for several months already. She was sent to a clinic for further examination on 29th December and returned to Anima on 5th January. But she refused to eat since that and was vomiting after force feeding. As so Sheila was sent to a second clinic for another opinion. According to the second vet, she was severely dehydrated, she got a wound on the right hind side. There was nothing much we could help. She was in suffer! <07-01-2017> C829-Donna (F), with an estimated age of four years old now, together with C830-Dottie (F), were rescued by Anima on 28th October 2014, after a call from Ms. Ng asking our help and reporting that she found two cats outside her shop at Rua Dois do Bairro da Areia Preta. Donna was found sick recently and had been staying in the clinic since 2nd January 2017. She was getting skinny and severe dehydrated. The breathing was not clear, coughing with nasal and eye discharge. She was diagnosed with mycoplasma positive. Her condition was getting worse even with treatment. She was in suffer already! <03-01-2017> SPPC1373-Greet (F), with an estimated age of eight years old, was under our Special Protection Program (SPP), and rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 2nd January 2017, somewhere in Taipa. Greet was found dying and had severe dehydration, has been sent to a clinic immediately. She was under IV fluid overnight but was too weak to make it. Greet passed away in the clinic this morning. Anima–January Rescue and Sad News (C1372-Yaki)!

<02-01-2017> C1372-Yaki (F), with an estimated age of five months old, was rescued by Anima already dead on the 2nd January 2017, after a call from Ms. Chau reporting that a kitten was found dying in Rua Das Estalagens. Anima-December Sad News (C304-Wilder)!

<29-12-2016> C304-Wilder (F), was rescued by Anima on 25th November 2011, after a call from Michele reporting that a cat needed our help somewhere in Taipa. Wilder was found severely dehydrated and skinny few days ago. She was sent to a clinic immediately. She had hypothermia, heart rate was fast, breathing was not clear and the lung was not working well. She was staying in the clinic for treatment.
