Anima-December Sad News (473-Leg Leg)!

<24-12-2016> 473-Leg Leg (M), with an estimated age of nine years old now, passed away today due to cancer. Leg Leg was found getting slim and not eating much since one week ago. We found a hard lump when we were palpating his belly and he seemed in pain. He was sent to a clinic for further examination and observation. According to the vet, there was a tumor  located near his bowel and artery. The surgery was too risky and Leg Leg might not survive during the surgery. Leg Leg was then transferred to a second clinic for another opinion. According to the second vet, the cancer had spread to his lung, liver and kidney already, there was no chance for him to survive. Anima-December Sad News (SPPC1327-Huck)!

<20-12-2016> The mother, SPPC1324-Polly (F), on the time with an estimated age of three years old, together with her kittens, SPPC1325-Becky (F), SPPC1326-Sawyer (M) and SPPC1327-Huck (M), on the time all with an estimated age of 1.5 months old, were under our Special Protection Program (SPP) and rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 7th November 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Polly had upper respiratory infection and the breathing was not clear. Becky, Sawyer and Huck had eye discharge and inflammation. They were returned to their former place after dewormed and medication prescribed in the same day. They were brought to Anima again on 29th November 2016 by Michele. Polly was staying with us to be spayed. Becky, Sawyer and Huck were staying with us for adoption. Anima-December Sad News (C1277-Dot Dot)!

<19-12-2016> C1277-Dot Dot (M), was rescued by Anima on 13th September 2016, with an estimated age of five months old, after a call from Ms. Lou reporting that a skinny kitten was found near Hospital Conde S. Januário. Dot Dot was collected to Anima and checked by our vet. He was staying with us under observation. He was found dehydrated and refused to eat recently. He was sent to a clinic for consultation. Unfortunately he passed away before we arrived the clinic and the cause of death was FIP. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-December Sad News (B060-Sunny)!

<13-12-2016> B060-Sunny, was rescued by Anima on 12th December 2016, after a call from Michele reporting that a bird was found unable to fly somewhere in Taipa. Sunny was sent to a clinic and stayed in the clinic for observation. We were informed by the clinic that Sunny suddenly collapsed this morning and passed away. R.I.P. my friend! Anima-December Sad News (C1173-Cheddar)!

<06-12-2016> C1173-Cheddar (F), was rescued by Anima on 21st April 2016, with an estimated age of ten months old, after a call from Mr. Wai reporting that C1173-Cheddar fell down from the terrace of Jardim da Victoria (Block H). Our rescue team found C1173-Cheddar trapped in a closed terrace of the building. She was collected, checked and dewormed. Cheddar was dehydrated, had fever and gum problems. She was recovered and stayed with us since that. Cheddar was diagnosed with Stomatitis on 28th October 2016. She refused to eat and we started to force feeding since two weeks ago, but she was still getting skinnier. She had bloody diarrhea yesterday and was sent to a clinic for further examination. According to the vet, there was a hard lump in the abdomen, which was most possibly the cause of her condition. A surgery could be done, but the success rate was lower than 10% as Cheddar was...

Anima-December Sad News (H005-Dim Dim)!

<05-12-2016> H005-Dim Dim (M), H006-Sum Sum (F), were with an estimated age of four months old, together with three new born babies H007-Tic Tic, H008-Tac Tac and H009-Toe Toe, were hamsters rescued by Anima on 6th July 2016, after a call from Ms. Muk, a cleaner in Edificio Wang Son. She found H005-Dim Dim, H006-Sum Sum, H007-Tic Tic, H008-Tac Tac and H009-Toe Toe in a cage abandoned in the garbage room with a note. H006-Sum Sum is the mother of H007-Tic Tic, H008-Tac Tac and H009-Toe Toe. They were collected by us and H005-Dim Dim was staying in a separated cage, while H006-Sum Sum was staying with the three babies in another cage! Dim Dim was found passed away this morning without any symptoms. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-December Sad News (C1349-Grey)!

<05-12-2016> C1349-Grey (M), was rescued by Anima on 4th December 2016, with an estimated age of six years old, after a call from Mr. Ho reporting that a skinny cat was found in Rua de Cinco de Outubro. Grey was sent to a clinic for consultation. He had an eye infection and dehydration. He was staying in the clinic for observation. We were informed by the clinic today that Grey passed away due to Cerebral Edema. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-December Sad News (C1137-Bosso)!

<05-12-2016> C1137-Bosso (M), was rescued by Anima on 1st March 2016, with an estimated age of three years old, after a call from a man reporting that Bosso was fighting with other cat at home. On 23rd December 2015, we were contacted by the same owner asking us to collect his two cats as they were always attacking his older cat, C1137-Bosso. We collected one of the two cats, C1090-Shadie, at that time. The owner contacted us later referring that C1137-Bosso and the other cat were not fighting anymore. On 1st March 2016, the owner took C1137-Bosso to Anima and told us that Bosso was fighting with the other cat again. Very strange as Bosso was always attacked by the other cat! <03-12-2016> B056-BB was rescued by Anima on 23rd November 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina reporting that a bird was found soaking and unable to fly near Macau Polytechnic Institute. BB was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, BB was still very young and had not learnt how to fly. BB was sent to a clinic and had been staying in the clinic for observation.
