Anima–November Rescue and Sad News (C1333-Taily)!

<11-11-2016> C1333-Taily (F), with an estimated age of two years old, was rescued by Anima already dead on 11th November 2016, after a call from Mr. Wong reporting that a cat was hit by a motorcycle and passed away immediately in University of Macau. Anima-November Sad News (157-Soda)!

<09-11-2016> 157-Soda (F), with an estimated age of twelve years old now, was found passed away this morning inside her pen. No superficial injuries was found on her body and the cause of death could be heart failure or stroke as she was already in an elderly age. An autopsy will be performed tomorrow by our vet. Soda was one of the dogs that had stayed with us for the longest time. She was a quiet and elegant granny, always friendly to everyone. We will miss you! R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–November Sad News (SPP1809-Siu Hac)!

<03-11-2016> SPP1809-Siu Hac (M), was under our Special Protection Program and rescued by Anima on 17th October 2016 with an estimated age of two years old, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that a dog was getting slim, pathetic and vomiting that morning. Siu Hac was brought to Anima for consultation. He had renal problem and needed to stay with us temporarily for medication. He was sent to a clinic yesterday as his condition was getting worse. He vomited twice in the clinic with blood and refused to eat in the past two days. We were informed by the clinic that Siu Hac passed away. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Anima–October Sad News (C1300-Jeffery)!

<30-10-2016> C1274-Jerica (F), was rescued by Anima with an estimated age of one year old on 3rd September 2016, after a call from Mr. Lee reporting that he used to feed stray cats near Our Lady of Carmel Church and there were around six female cats not yet spayed. We set up a trap and Jerica was caught. She was brought to Anima and was already pregnant. Three kittens, C1299-Julio (M), C1300-Jeffery (M) and C1301-Jorge (M) were born by her on 7th October 2016. However, Jeffery was found with difficulty to breathe this afternoon. He was sent to a clinic immediately. Unfortunately Jeffery passed away during the x-rays and blood test examination. Anima–October Sad News (C883-Flo)!

<27-10-2016> C883-Flo (F), with an estimated age of 16 years old, was rescued by Anima on 24th January 2015, after a call from a lady reporting that someone gave a cat to her but she has an allergy and couldn’t keep the cat. That was the explanation given to us. Flo was spayed and came from England with all vaccination updated! She had no teeth at all. We were not happy with that! Poor Flo! After so many years with her family, she was thrown away like an old toy! Flo was found with difficulty to breathe on 23rd October 2016, and as so, she was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the x-rays, she had pulmonary edema. Flo had been staying in the clinic under IV dripping and forced feeding. Anima–October Sad News (C1310-Polytec)!

<25-10-2016> C1310-Polytec (M), four months old, was rescued by Anima on 14th October 2016, after a call from Ms. Chan, reporting that a kitten was rescued by her near the bus stop of Edf. Va Pou Garden, the day before. Polytec was shaking and soaking, refused to eat and had discharge on his eyes. Ms. Chan didn’t know how to take care of him and asked our help. Polytec was checked by our vet and dewormed. He had difficulty in breathing, and showed pain when we touched his chest. He was sent to a clinic for an x-ray and further examination. He had severe pneumonia and needed to stay in the clinic for observation. He was then transferred to another clinic for a second opinion on 23rd October 2016. X-ray showed that Polytec had Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia. His heart was being oppressed, and the right lung was shrinking and could hardly be seen from X-Ray. Most...

Anima–Sad News (C1278-Eldie)!

<19-10-2016> C1278-Eldie (F), seven years old, together with C1279-Solar (M), three years old, were rescued by Anima on 14th September 2016, after a call from Ms. Fong referring that an old man lived with his five cats in Edf. Man Fong and they were forced to move out recently. All his belongings were thrown out to the street including his cats. This is not acceptable! Humans and animals are thrown to the street like stuff! How can the Government be indifferent to such kind of cruelty? Three of his cats run away and the other two cats, Eldie and Solar, were put on the street inside cages by someone. The old man asked our help because he is living in social housing which do not allow people to have pets. Eldie and Solar were collected to Anima and checked by our vet. Anima–Sad News (C203-Gata Mae)!

<15-10-2016> C203-Gata Mae (F), was rescued by Anima on 2nd August 2010, from a group of 50 cats. Gata Mae had been staying with us since that. She was sent to a clinic on 8th October 2016 as she was shrinking, severely dehydrated and refused to eat, even after we had tried to do our best! She stayed in the clinic for two days then returned to Anima on 10th October 2016. Her condition was not getting better even under treatment. She was then transferred to a second clinic and stayed there for medication. We were informed by the clinic that Gata Mae passed away this morning, suspected to have FIP. R.I.P. my friend! Anima–Sad News (C754-Ninety Nine)!

<15-10-2016> C754-Ninety Nine (M), was rescued by Anima on 9th July 2014, after a call from Mr. Wu reporting that a cat was hit by a car at Rua de Nam Keng. Ninety Nine was sent to a clinic to have a surgery. He had recovered and stayed with us since that. He was getting weak two days ago and was sent to a clinic for consultation. Blood test showed that he had severely anemia and infection, a poor prognosis. We were informed by the clinic that Ninety Nine passed away this afternoon. R.I.P. my friend!
