Anima–February Adoption (C2479-Josie)!

<20-02-2021> Josie was adopted today by Ms. Ana Rute! C2479-Josie (F), around three months old at the time of the rescue, was collected by Anima on 10th January 2021, following a facebook message from Ms. Lio reporting that two sick kittens suffering from ocular discharge were seen in Pátio do Mungo. Josie was rescued by our team and immediately sent to a clinic. She would recover and was welcomed into our Cat’s Paradise. Today, Josie found a forever family! Thank you for adopting, Ms. Ana Rute! Anima-February Adoption (C2392, C2394)!

<14-02-2021> Nayomi and Nelly were adopted today by Mr. Wong! C2391-Nilah (F), C2392-Nayomi (F), C2393-Nicolette (F) and C2394-Nelly (M), all around two weeks old by the time, were rescued by Anima on 14th September 2020, following a call from Ms. Carla reporting that a loud ‘meowing’ could be heard near Calçada da Igreja de São Lázaro in the early morning. Four kittens were found and rescued since no adult female cat was found nearby. All kittens were temporarily fostered by our staff members for special care and milk feeding. Nayomi and Nelly were initially adopted on 21th November, 2020 but were later returned as one member of the family was suffering from severe allergies. They returned to the foster care of our staff. Anima–February Adoption (C2495-Oasis)!

<11-02-2021> Oasis was adopted today by Ms. Daniela! C2495-Oasis (F), around three months old back then, was rescued by Anima on 26th January 2021, after a call from Ms. Laura referring that she had rescued a kitten near One Oasis. As she noticed the kitten shaking, she brought her to a clinic, but Oasis was confirmed to be healthy and without injuries. Anima-February Adoption (C2403-Gabby)!

<12-02-2021> Gabby was adopted today by Ms. Viana! Back then, C2402-Forky (newborn), C2403-Gabby (F), around one year old, C2404-Buzz and C2405-Woody (newborns), as well as C2406-Tifa (F), C2407-Tova (F) and C2408-Terra (F), all around seven months old, were rescued by Anima on the 10th October 2020, following a visit to a site under the responsibility of an elderly lady, who has asked for our help with long-term food support for her animals. Unexpectedly, we were taken to a patio of a building where 11 cats were found in small cages, inside a narrow and dark improvised room. Due to the severe environmental conditions, we immediately started developing plans to an extensive rescue operation. C2403-Gabby was brought to our Cats’ Paradise. Anima–January Adoption (H067 and H068)!

<31-01-2021> Our hamsters YangMei and Chayote were adopted today by Mr. Cheong! H063-Peach (F), H064-Loquat (F), H065-Carambola (F), H066-Rose (F), H067-YangMei (F), H068-Chayote (F) and H069-Pitaya (F), all around three months old by the time of the rescued, were collected by Anima on 12th June 2020, from Macau Kennel. They were rescued by I.A.M on 31st May 2020, after being found abandoned on the side of the road at Seac Pai Van in a plastic box. All of them have been staying in our Dogs’ Shelter. Anima–January Adoption (C2442-Aladdin)!

<31-01-2021> Aladdin was adopted by Ms. Fong! C2442-Aladdin (M), a cat around one and a half year old by the time of the rescue, was collected by Anima on 7th December 2020, after a call from I.A.M. reporting that a British Shorthair cat was abandoned in Macau Kennel, as the owner couldn’t afford the vet expenses due to Aladdin’s kidney problems and possible needed surgery. C2442-Aladdin was then rescued by Anima and sent to a clinic for further examination. An ultrasound exam indicated that urinary crystals were forming in the urine, irritating the bladder lining and causing a blockage. C2442-Aladdin stayed hospitalized and received all needed medical care before being welcomed at our Cats’ Paradise. Today, Aladdin found a forever family! Thanks for adopting, Ms. Fong! Anima–January Adoption (C2438-Jase)!

<30-01-2021> Jase was adopted today by Ms. Mok! C2438-Jase, around two months old by the time of the rescue, was collected by Anima on December 1st, 2020. We were informed by some visitors in that afternoon that a sick kitten was living in a store at Rua dos Negociantes. Our team was mobilized and ended up finding two kittens with watery eyes and nasal discharge, of which one already had a 3rd eyelid visible, both living in a store. The owner, however, refused to take the kittens to a clinic. He would later decide to surrender the kittens to Anima. Jase was then welcomed at our Cats’ Paradise. Anima–January Adoption (C2435-Caleb)!

<29-01-2021> Caleb was adopted by Ms. Pong! C2432-Claire (F), C2433-Camilla (F), C2434-Cooper (M), C2435-Caleb (M) and C2436-Camden (M), all around two and a half months old by the time, were originally found on a cardboard Cashier at the University of Macau, near the playground. Eventually, the kittens were rescued by the I.A.M and Anima agreed to rescue them if they did not find an adopter. The five kittens were welcome to our Cats' Paradise. Today, Caleb found his home!
