Anima–February Adoption (1843-Furby)!

<07-02-2017> Furby was adopted by Mr. Veiga on 7th February 2017! 1843-Furby (M), was rescued by Anima on 1st February 2017, when he was around two months old, after a call from Mr. Lok reporting that a puppy was found alone hiding under a motorcycle near the Mercado Municipal da Taipa. Our shelter was full but we had no choice to keep him as Furby was too young to survive by himself on the street. He was full of fleas and after quarantine was going to be socialized with other puppies. Furby has stayed with us until now. Thanks Mr. Veiga! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima–February Adoption (1818-Wessa)!

<04-02-2017> Wessa was adopted by Ms. Leong on 4th February 2017! 1818-Wessa (F), was rescued by Anima on 24th November 2016, when she was around two months old, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that a puppy was found near Escola S. Jose de Ka-Ho. Her brother 1817-Wes was rescued in the same area on 22nd November 2016. Wessa was checked by our vet and dewormed. They were fostered temporarily by our supervisor Zoe as they needed milk feeding. Wes was adopted on 10th December 2016 and Wessa was adopted today. Thanks Ms. Leong! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima–February Adoption (SPPC1393-Olaf)!

<02-02-2017> Olaf was adopted by Mr. Lam on 2nd February 2017! SPPC1393-Olaf (M), was under our Special Protection Program and was rescued by Anima, when he was around two months old, through Michele, on 19th January 2017, somewhere in Taipa. Olaf was checked by our vet and dewormed. He was returned to his former place after a body check. Michele was responsible for him in that area. Olaf was adopted today. Thanks Mr. Lam! Anima–February Adoption (C1288-Prissy)!

<01-02-2017> Prissy was adopted by Mr. Rashid on 1st February 2017! C1288-Prissy (F) and C1289-Funny (F), were rescued by Anima on 23rd September 2016, when they were few days old, after a call from Mr. Kuok reporting that two kittens were found in Praça de Ponte e Horta the night before. He took care of them for a night and asked our help. Prissy and Funny were collected to Anima. They were fostered temporarily by our supervisor Zoe as they needed milk feeding. Anima–January Adoption (1502-Saskia)!

<26-01-2017> Saskia was adopted by Mr. Ip on 26th January 2017! See Saskia when was rescued and now! 1502-Saskia (F), now with an estimated age of six years old, was rescued by Anima on 21st July 2015, after a call from Ms. Zheng reporting that a dog was found limping in Rua do Visconde Paço de Arcos (Near Bridge 16). Saskia had difficulties to move. 1502-Saskia was sent to a clinic immediately for an X-Rays. The result showed she had not a fracture but a hernia. She would stay with us forever unless adopted as she was not in condition to be released! Saskia was adopted on 16th December 2016. However, she was returned on 19th December 2016 as the adopter said his daughter has an allergy. Today she was adopted again! Thanks Mr. Ip! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima–January Adoption (C1374-Caramel II)!

<22-01-2017> Caramel II was adopted by Ms. Filipa on 22nd January 2017! C1374-Caramel II (M), was rescued by Anima on 3rd January 2017, with an estimated age of five years old, after a call from Ms. Filipa reporting that she rescued a cat 1.5 years ago in Cheoc Van but  Caramel II has been wild and aggressive. She reported that he destroyed everything in her house and attacked her young daughter. He was castrated but according to her it couldn’t help to improve his behavior. Anima–January Adoption (SPP1147-Joey)!

<14-01-2017> Joey was adopted by Ms. Carolina on 14th January 2017! SPP1147-Joey (M), with an estimated age of four years old now, was rescued by Anima on 3rd November 2013, after a call from our president, Mr. Albano, reporting that he found an injured puppy nearby Venetian roundabout inside a pipe. The puppy refused to come out and we asked the fire department to help. Total four puppies were found but they were trapped inside the pipe. All were healthy except one puppy, Joey, that had a broken bone. Joey was sent to a clinic and one of his legs was severe injured. His leg had to be cut. Joey was fostered by Ms. Carolina over three years already. We are happy that Joey found a good family, as Carolina decided to adopt him! This is a good example of care and love! Thanks Ms. Carolina! Anima–January Return to Family (SPP1770-Whistle)!

<14-01-2017> Whistle was returned to  Mr. Ng on 14th January 2017! SPP1770-Whistle (M), on the time with an estimated age of three years old, together with SPP1771-Fat Boy (M), on the time with an estimated age of 2.5 years old, were under our Special Protection Program, after being rescued by Anima on 15th August 2016, following a call from Ms. Chan, reporting that two dogs were found injured after a fight in the site of MGM. According to the guard, Whistle was bitten by seven dogs that were all living in another site. Whistle and Fat Boy were sent to a clinic for treatment. Multiple holes were found on Whistle’s body, the chest, the abdomen and the left shoulder. As the wounds were very wide and deep, he needed over 60 stitches to close all them up.
