<22-11-2021> Chicago was adopted today by Ms. Tam! R057-Chicago (M), a rabbit around three years old back then, was rescued by Anima on 13th March 2021. Our team was mobilized after a call from Ms. Leong reporting that she found a rabbit abandoned in a cage in Av. do General Castelo Branco. Chicago was collected and welcomed into our Cats’ Paradise. Anima–November Rescue and Sad News (C2663-Sunny)!

<21-11-2021> C2663-Sunny (M), a kitten around three months old, was rescued by Anima with the support of Mr. Carlos. Sunny was found by Mr. Carlos at around 7pm lying on the street of Rua Um do Bairro da Concórdia. The kitten was very weak and was transferred to a clinic. Unfortunately, however, Sunny didn’t survive. X-ray images revealed a fracture on his skull, possibly due to a fall from a height. IAM has been informed. R.I.P.! Please help us to help them! Anima at CEM’s Event “Green Movie Screening”!

<21-11-2021> Today, Anima attended CEM’s Green Movie Screening - A Glimmer of Hope for the Climate Crisis. The event took place at the outdoor venue of Macau Holy House of Mercy and around 90 people were present. The initiative counted with a charity sale of potted plants and souvenirs. A generous amount of MOP 4,473 was raised to Anima! The proceeds will help us in our efforts saving the homeless dogs. We are grateful to CEM for another great initiative! Anima–November Sad News (302-Gigi)!

<20-11-2021> Sadly, our dog 302-Gigi has passed away. Gigi was almost 14 years old and had been living in our shelters since 2008. Between several health issues, she was suffering from a tumor in the gastrointestinal tract. Despite all medical care, Gigi didn’t survive. RIP, our old friend! Please help us to help them! <19-11-2021> SPP2412-Echo (M), around two years old and SPP2413-Monki (M), around three years old, are under our Special Protection Program (SPP) now. SPP2411-Will (M), around five months old, became under our Special Protection Program (SPP) yesterday. They are under Mr. Che’s responsibility in a Ka-Ho Workshop. Anima–November Sad News (H069-Pitaya)!

<18-11-2021> H063-Peach (F), H064-Loquat (F), H065-Carambola (F), H066-Rose (F), H067-YangMei (F), H068-Chayote (F) and H069-Pitaya (F), all around three months old, were rescued by Anima on 12th June 2020, from Macau Kennel. They were rescued by I.A.M on 31st May, a case referral by Departamento Policial das Ilhas - Comissariado de Coloane, regarding those 7 hamsters were found abandoned on the side of the road at Seac Pai Van near a Bus Stop in a plastic box. Also, H055-Star Fruit (M), H056-MangoSteen (M), H057-JuJuBe (M), H058-Rambutan (M), H059-Physalis (M), H060-Sapodilla (M), H061-Guara (M), H062-Golden Apple (M), all around three months old, were rescued by Anima on 2nd June 2020, after received a message on Facebook by Mr. Hong, reporting that 8 hamsters were found abandoned at the same place. Anima–November Return (SPP2410-Testi)!

<17-11-2021> SPP2410-Testi (M), a puppy around nine months old, was rescued by Anima on 16th November 2021 and he is under our Special Protection Program. Anima received a call from Mr. Tog reporting that SPP2410-Testi got injured near Pac On. He asked us to help. SPP2410-Testi was sent to a clinic for consultation. His testicles were ruptured and need a surgery. Anima helped with the castration in this situation and SPP2410-Testi was returned safely to his place today. Thanks, Mr. Tog!
