<13-11-2021> Today, we were visited by 53 people, of which 13 were from 'Uniao Geral das Associações dos Moradores de Macau'! The group had the chance to visit our Dogs’ Shelter and gave us a helpful hand walking our furry friends. Thank you for your visit and support! Anima–November Sad News (896-Vivian)!

<10-11-2021> 896-Vivian (F), with an estimated age of eleven years old now, was rescued by Anima on 18th September 2012, together with her family, total of a group of 25 dogs that were all abandoned in Macau Kennel. The owner didn’t neuter his dogs and let the family grew until that huge amount. Finally, when he couldn’t handle and never asked for help, he just abandoned them all in Macau Kennel without any responsibility. On that time Anima decided to take over all 25 dogs. 896-Vivian became sick and staying in our vet area for some days. She had diarrhea and severe dehydration. A lot of giardiasis was found from her stool. She was found unable to move and weak yesterday. She was taking medication, but she didn’t improve at all and begin to enter in suffer! After discussed with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision...

Anima–November Rescue (T035-Bobby)!

<08-11-2021> T035-Bobby (M), a young turtle, was rescued by Anima on 8th November 2021, after a call from one of our community members, Ms. Carla, reporting that a small turtle was found on the gutter in the Patio where she works on Calçada da Igreja de São Lázaro by her colleague. She asked our help. Our Rescue team went there and brought T035-Bobby. He was welcome to our Cats’ Paradise, in a proper pound that Anima has for aquatic animals. Thanks, Ms. Carla! Anima-November Adoption (C2630-Falcon)!

<07-11-2021> Falcon was adopted today by Ms. Chao! C2630-Falcon (M) was rescued together with his siblings on 11th September 2021, when he was around six weeks old. The rescue happened after a call reporting that several kittens had been found abandoned in a cardboard box at Fortaleza do Monte. They were sent by our team to a clinic for a check-up, as some of them seemed to be struggling to breath. After consultation, all were welcomed into Cats’ Paradise.
