Anima–November Sad News (C2172-Matteo)!

<06-11-2021> Sadly, our cat C2172-Matteo has passed away. Matteo was suffering from several health issues, including severe kidney problems. Despite the ongoing medical care, his health condition continued to deteriorate. Following veterinary advice and consent given by several Anima board members, Matteo was euthanized in a clinic in an effort to shorten his agony. RIP, our dear friend! Please help us to help them! Anima–November Rescue (C2656-Roofie)!

<06-11-2021> C2656-Roofie (F), a kitten around five and a half months old, was rescued by Anima on 6th November, 2021. We received a Facebook message from Ms. Michelle reporting that her friend found and collected a cat on the canopy of a building in Rua de Pedro Coutinho. According to Ms. Michelle, Roofie had been staying there for a week already and no one claimed to be her owner. Roofie was then welcomed into our Cats’ Paradise. Please help us to help them! Anima–November Adoption (C2631-Largo)!

<04-11-2021> Largo was adopted today by Ms. Cheng! C2624-Alicia (F), C2625-Vargas (F), C2626-Mariko (F), C2627-Morass (F), C2628-Diablo (M), C2629-Flying Tiger (M), C2630-Falcon (M), C2631-Largo (M), C2632-Zola (M), C2633-Beetle (M) and C2634-Tyrant (M), all around six weeks old by that time, were rescued by Anima on 11th September 2021. The rescue happened after a call from Ms. Chan, who reported to have found the kittens abandoned in a cardboard box at Fortaleza do Monte. They were firstly sent by our team to a clinic for a check-up, as some of them seemed to be struggling to breath. After consultation, all were welcomed into Cats’ Paradise. Anima-November Adoption (C2637-Bess)!

<02-11-2021> Bess was adopted today by Ms. Lei! C2637-Bess and C2638-Basia, both females around one month old, plus C2639-Barton, a male around four months old, were rescued by Anima on 5th October 2021, with the help of the fire department. After a call from Mr. Jorge reporting that he saw a black kitten fell from the height and hit on the ground in an abandoned house in Tv. da Praia Grande, the kitten seems not moving well and he was weak after falling. He asked us help. As this is a private property, Anima asked for cooperation to other responsible security entities. The three kittens were rescued with the help of Fire Department and IAM. C2637-Bess, C2638-Basia and C2639-Barton were rescued, and they were sent to a clinic where they became hospitalized. Fortunately, Falcon found the love of a new family today! Anima-November Adoption (C2608, C2612)!

<01-11-2021> Aurora and Fortuna were adopted today by Ms. Choi! C2608-Aurora, C2609-Venus, C2610-Valcan, C2611-Juno and C2612-Fortuna, all newborns, were rescued by Anima on 15th August 2021, after a box with five kittens be left at our entrance and be found by one of our staff when he came to work in the early morning. They were immediately cleaned and warmed with towels. C2608-Aurora, C2609-Venus, C2610-Valcan, C2611-Juno and C2612-Fortuna were sent to a vet clinic for treatment and care, while Anima was trying to find who was the irresponsible person. This case was reported to IAM and PSP to help us. Hope there is no next time, and the person can become aware of the consequences, changing this attitude into some respect. Anima–November Rescue (C2654-Millard)!

<01-11-2021> C2654-Millard (M), around two and a half years old, was rescued by Anima on 1st November 2021, after a Facebook message from Mr. Ao Ieong, saying that there was a very skinny cat, C2654-Millard, wandering at Patio do Pagode, who sometimes would stay too nearby cars. He asked us for help. Rescue team went there and found Millard. He was rescued and sent to a clinic. According to the vet, Millard is very dehydrated, blood test only shows anemia. He also did a trio test, where results were positive for feline infectious virus (FIV). Although a little unstable, C2654-Millard could come later and be welcome to our Cats’ Paradise!
