Anima–October Sad News (C1929-Jax)!

<07-10-2021> C1929-Jax (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 13th July 2018, after a call from IAM reporting that they don’t have enough space for cats. He was neutered, vaccinated, and received microchips at IAM, being well received later in our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, C1929-Jax got sick and has been having serious health problems. According with the vet, C1929-Jax suffers already from kidney’s failure. Ultrasound results showed their malfunction and there was no possibility for a surgery as he was too weak and could not survive to anesthesia. Despite all our and medical efforts, C1929-Jax passed away peacefully during this afternoon. R.I.P. our old friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–October Rescue (C2637, C2638, C2639)!

<05-10-2021> C2637-Bess and C2638-Basia, both females around one month old, plus C2639-Barton, a male around four months old, were rescued by Anima on 5th October 2021, with the help of the fire department. After a call from Mr. Jorge reporting that he saw a black kitten fell from the height and hit on the ground in an abandoned house in Tv. da Praia Grande, the kitten seems not moving well and he was weak after falling. He asked us help. As this is a private property, Anima asked for cooperation to other responsible security entities. The three kittens were rescued with the help of Fire Department and IAM. C2637-Bess, C2638-Basia and C2639-Barton were rescued, and they were sent to a clinic where they became hospitalized. Thank you all, Fire Department, IAM and Mr. Jorge! Please help us to help them! Anima–October Rescue (C2636-Yoga)!

<04-10-2021> C2636-Yoga (F), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 4th October 2021, after a call from Mr. Ho reporting that he found a kitten, C2636-Yoga, in Border Gate on 2nd October 2021 during nighttime. He brought C2636-Yoga to a clinic for consultation as she was sneezing with nasal and eyes discharge. Health tests were positive for FCV (Feline Calicivirus) and Mycoplasma Felis carried by Feline panleukopenia virus. C2636-Yoga was hospitalized overnight in the Animal Hospital. Rescue Team also transferred her today to another clinic for a checkup. C2636-Yoga will be hospitalized there for treatment. Thank you, Mr. Ho! Please help us to help them! Anima-October Adoption (C2389-Jam)!

<02-10-2021> Jam was adopted by Mr. Poon! C2389-Jam (F) was rescued by Anima on 11th September 2020, when she was around three months old. We received a call from a local vet reporting that a family had rescued a female cat and brought her to a clinic, in order to check her condition. She tested positive for FeLV and the family couldn’t keep her, as they already had other cats at home. Jam was then welcomed into our Cats’ Paradise. Today, Jam found the love of a family! <01-10-2021> Recently, our senior male dog 670-Wu Chai got sick and has been having serious health problems. According with the vet, 670-Wu Chai has a gallbladder disease, liver problem and a tumor within the spleen. Blood test results indicated that he has jaundice and the most important thing to do is treating his gallbladder disease (Choleretic) and liver Problem first. Anima-October Foster Family (C2634-Tyrant)!

<01-10-2021> Tyrant was fostered today by Ms. Ian! C2624-Alicia (F), C2625-Vargas (F), C2626-Mariko (F), C2627-Morass (F), C2628-Diablo (M), C2629-Flying Tiger (M), C2630-Falcon (M), C2631-Largo (M), C2632-Zola (M), C2633-Beetle (M) and C2634-Tyrant (M), all around six weeks old, were rescued by Anima on 11th September 2021. The rescue happened after a call from Ms. Chan, who reported to have found the kittens abandoned in a cardboard box at Fortaleza do Monte. They were firstly sent by our team to a clinic for a check-up, as some of them seemed to be struggling to breath. After consultation, all were welcomed into Cats’ Paradise. Today, Tyrant found the love of a foster family! Anima is in charge of supervising and licensing all younger animals until they reach the maturity required for adoption. <30-09-2021> 811-Nacha (M), nine years and nine months old, was adopted by a lady from Anima on 25th April 2012, when 811-Nacha was only three months old. Unfortunately, today he was left in Macau kennel! Anima was informed by IAM, recently that 811-Nacha was abandoned by the adopter at Macau Municipal Kennel due to an epilepsy seizure. 811-Nacha was rescued by Anima from Macau Municipal Kennel today, 30th September 2021. Anima–September Sad News (C1770-Burnley)!

<27-09-2021> C1762-Everton (M), C1763-Brington (M), C1764-Chelsea (F), C1765-Swansea (F), C1766-Crystal (F), C1767-Norwich (M), C1768-Leicester (F), C1769 -Manchester (M), C1770-Burnley (F), C1771-Arsenal (M), C1772-Liverpool (M) and C1773-Tottenham (F), were rescued by Anima on 16 November 2017, after a call from the IAM mentioning that they had no more space for cats. They were all vaccinated by the IAM and later observed by our veterinarian. All were welcome in our Cats’ Paradise! Recently, C1770-Burnley became ill, and she has been getting worse since august. Having already undergone several health examinations, treatments and no improvements, the opinion of both veterinarians and management will be to end her suffering so that she can rest in peace.
