Anima–March Rescue (C2922, C2923)!

<12-03-2024> C2922-Zorion (M), around eight years old and C2923-Zandra (F), around two years old, were rescued by Anima on 12th March 2023, after a call from Ms. Zeng referring that her ex-neighbor, an old guy named Peter, with cancer and heart problems, who lived alone and had around 20 cats, is not able to take care of them anymore. She asked us help. Anima informed that there is no space for all at a time and we will be working together with AAPAM to help as many animals as possible, step by step. Today, both were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise! Thanks, Ms. Zeng! Please, consider more options before abandon any animal in the streets! Anima–March Rescue (SPPC2921-Jessica)!

<11-03-2024> SPPC2921-Jessica (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 11th March 2024, after a call from Jockey Club, where she was waiting under the responsibility of Ms. Heffermann, to have a dessex surgery. After surgery, SPPC2921-Jessica returned safely to her place! Anima and Jockey Club work together in order to save as many animals as possible. Thanks, Ms. Heffermann! Anima–March Sad News (396-Zorro)!

<11-03-2024> 396-Zorro (M), one of our senior dogs almost with 16 years old, had a lump removal on his right hind leg, on December 2021. Zorro was diagnosed with hyperadrenalism as well as a pancreatic tumor, leading to hypoglycemia this year. He got worst and besides all treatments, his health condition was not getting better. Unfortunately, 396-Zorro was found passed away today. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! <05-03-2024> 884-Eric (M), one of our senior dogs, was reacting different recently, refusing to eat and getting weak. He was sent for a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, Eric’s prognosis was reserved due to sickness and age. Although hospitalized, his health condition was not getting better. Today, 884-Eric passed away. R.I.P. our friend! Anima–February Rescue (C2916-Amelia)!

<29-02-2024> C2916-Amelia (F), around seven months old, was rescued by Anima on 29th February 2024, after a call from Ms. Anne referring that a cat had been lying inside a building on Tv. Dos Anjos for some time and it seemed injured. Amelia was immediately sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, she has many fleas, a wound on her mouth and a fracture of her pelvis, the part of ilium and ischium. A surgery is needed and Amelia stood hospitalized in the clinic.
